Can you tell me where can I go to buy it,Include NFC version
And with OC @1.3 what about the battery life.
Thank.
Custom rom causes boot loop after flashing. It seems to work only with preinstalled taiwanese fw. (that's written when package is being extracted).
I am not the ROM writer
It is not Taiwan but Hong Kong's

Sorry for the out of thread but with 2000mah battery you have to change the back cover with the SII extended back cover?

I removed back cover and put a TRANSPARENT silicon back cover.
So everyone can see the inside of the Galaxy R, and the 2000 MAH Battery.
Cool.... hehehe

Hi Everyone,
Took the plunge for the first time and flashed from stock to CM7. I can't get over how fast and stable it is compared to the stock ROM!
I've reading good things about Hey It's Lou (in particular #8 and #9) kernels and would love to get that kind of battery life, but it seems like I can't use HIL with ASOP ROMs like CM7.
1. Am I correct? CAN I use HIL#8/#9 w/ CM7?
2. If not what, other kernels can folks recommend for me? (stability and battery life are more important than performance, though I don't want the phone to crawl.)
Thanks!
A.
Yeah, I'd like to know too. I tried Chad's Incredikernal, and I have to say I wasn't impressed with battery life, perhaps I missed something?
---------- Post added at 04:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:02 PM ----------
I just read a post that said Incredikernal + setting cpu down to half (whatever that means) gave 12-13 hours normal use with battery left(again not specific). I'm all for that! BTW: 10th Post Yeah!!
am using ARHD and sometimes when im playing games or just using my phone for quite some time, the battery heats up quite badly. is it normal? doesnt matter which version of ARHD bcos i experience heating up since 3.1.1 which was the first time i flashed a ROM.
i just downclocked wake max to 1.18. waiting to see it that helps.
wanna find out if theres anything else to be done.
thx.

it may seem that this is a common issue after reading a few threads here and there..
Just saw this on the front page and I thought maybe One X owners will want to give this a try:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681183
Seems pretty easy to do but i'm guessing this will hurt battery life. Thoughts?
You guys already have a mod like this...kind of:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/take-control-of-your-htc-one-x-cores-with-corecontrol/
While it's not a mod per say, it's essentially the same concept: turn the cores off and on at will. The mod for the EVO LTE is simply turning on the 2nd core and leaving it on...pretty sure this gives you the same power.
I posted in vipers thread about getting it to work with the One X. I posted the file from our phone that needs to be modded for him to look at, when he gets back to me I'm going to post it over here.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
It makes exit transitions less choppy with both cores on, liking this

Just added that one line and changed the permissions in that other line. Battery life while playing music was terrible so I reverted back.

yeah i looked in to it but was confused. Original OP said he added two lines. When i searched it i found like 3 instances of the same line so i was unsure about just changing something, didnt think that would work... but i have no expertise to base it on, just assumption.
Check the DEV section. This has been ported over.
I need recommendation for stock based rom for G920F which has good battery life and camera (main reason why I wont have AOSP is bad camera functionality) and is smooth and stable
the ones that I'm considering are:
FrankensteinS6
SuperStock S8 Fast Lite
UlTiMaTe NouGaT S8+
What would you recommend?
Ultimate Nougat is perfect
It's my daily use ROM

Well that's not so much...
Mine lasts around 7h with occasional surfing and wassap chat
On past cell phones, AOSP based roms would cause battery to last double! But AOSP has always a buggy camera and I need good camera so I won't use it on S6 which has great camera and features (wide selfie rules!)
If I'm looking for a lightweight and stable ROM that improves my battery life (this one is very important), which one is the best?
I don't care about extra features and customization. I just want stability, smooth experience and battery life.
No choice
Stock rom!
Lineage OS 16 night mode true black + magisk universal gsm doze module and L module in battery save mode + ex kernel manager and turn down one big cpu = 7, 8 SOT

Official Lineage 17 is pretty good. Smooth and most importantly STABLE.
4h+ SOT from a full charge on (underclocked) ElementalX.
BlissRom for sure, 5h sot from full charge on stock kernel. Stable, ota updates and lots of features
If you have an european pixel, you need to flash the special kernel, otherwise no sound in calls

You don't need a guide, it's all in the ElementalX zip
Flash in TWRP and the installer will start automatically, there you can select the max frequencies for the little and big clusters.
Will this phone still last a day, even with the original battery, planning to buy one for $60?

Those estimations totally depend on usage, but in my experience it would last a day, with below 10% left at the end of the day. So the battery does not offer a usage time anything better than average.
e/ foundation I will say

bliss rom for sure!
Mine is like brand new when I bought it at Craigslist, lasted a day and a half, not a heavy user, not a gamer too... frequent YouTube's and Twitter
