About issues with a wide assortment of devices, so I've yet to see a xoom tablet troubleshooting & API issues & Installation discussion. So
My first question is ,I've seen the transparent digital clock on different devices, has there been one made for the xoom m601

Anybody know why some rooted devices show the movies tab in the new market & ones like mine rooted inspire running inspired ace don't have it showing. Could it be that the inspire doesn't officially have gingerbread yet or is it because the other devices like the sgs captivate are just not being recognized as rooted?

Not exactly, what has been stated is that google wasn't going to allow rooted devices access to the movie tab, but I have gotten responses on other tech boards with users stating that their rooted devices do have access to it (such as the model above) & wanted to know if anyone new why. Another thing until xda redesigns their search function it's pretty much useless especially when I'm using their paid app on my phone. This has been stated numerous times by other users but people like you keep spouting search is your friend. I shouldn't have to open up my phones browser & do a google search with xda in the search parameters when the search function should be implemented correctly for an app that I paid for specifically for using this Site. Once that's fully implemented then you have every right to reinstate your position as the search police.

Hey my friend pointed out that they split the themes and apps section into two separate ones on the epic forums. I think that would be appreciated here also

Yes, this was done in the epic 4g forums. IMO its much cleaner, I know, atleast with the epic, there is about just as many apps as there is themes so it gets awfully cluttered and gets difficult to find thing.

They are trying something similar with sgs2 development forums. I definitely think it would help clean things up and hopefully stop a few needless questions

To be honest I am nit sure why there is an apps section for every device anyway. We have an android app section that I beleice should hold all the android apps. Mostly due to them being universal with the exception of a small few. It is being looked into

A few quick corrections:
The FFC is 0.3MP (VGA)
It is NOT GSM!! (Cricket is a CDMA network) Phone supports CDMA2000 1xEV-DO.
It is called 'Mercury' in the USA and called 'Honor' in European/Asian markets, which may have different specs. Being that you posted this in November I'm guessing the full specifications where not available.
I am sure once the phone catches on there will be devs working on it. There is already a way to root the phone! Pretty good for something just released this month
Yes i see, sorry was not arround till now i wasent notify about ur responce ill see if i can acctualy get my hands on one of those devices and start rooting it lol

Would be cool to get some dev support. Hopefully we can when its released by AT&T.
I would like to have mods ported. The Chinese have Ice Cream Sandwich on their NON-CDMA. So this hardware is not lacking, and I keep researching ways to port. Apparently AT&T is making it's own non-Cricket edition. Godspeed.

The rooting and custom recovery are useful. What I want is an ICS port that is custom before it is released. I saw there is a ROM for the M886, but it is not really working with Cricket or with the networks. I hope this will be updated then I will be glad to switch over completely.

I have been getting the same error on both my Infuse and SGS 3 for about 4 days.
Known issue, being worked on.

Other apps like forum runner do not have this issue from what those in the know tell me...

Gents, I understand your frustration, as stated above by Zen any issues post in the shown thread.
BTW as others had issues with the app, I have been using Forum Runner for the past 3 months, with no issues...
But as always user's choice, Thanks & Thread Closed.
I was messing around with the new Sony Experia S tablet at work and found the app Socialife. It seems like it pretty locked into only Sony tablets cause it made by them. I was just curious if there was a way to port to the Xoom or an app similar. I have tried tweetdeck and hootsuite but this one just seems to have more options and work a lot smoother.
