Hi,
I was trying to install a ROM this was my very first time I never did this before. I started ODin, attached my phone in download mode, provided .tar file in PDA and clicked START. A few command ran in ODin console and then my phone display was gone and nothing further happened in ODin console. I waited for long but no progress. I detached my phone and tried to restart it in order to revert back to my previous ROM. But I am seeing only this screen and I am stuck here:

I was installing ROM from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=843019
I was following these steps provided on another thread:
Instructions - ODIN (long)
- Follow these instructions to the letter. Do not touch any buttons or checkboxes that are not listed below to touch!
- Unzip the attached CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.zip
- (USB) Disconnect your phone from your computer
- Start ODIN
- Click the PDA button, and select CF-Root-xxx-vX.X.tar
- Put your phone in download mode
- (USB) Connect the phone to your computer
- Make sure repartition is NOT checked
- Click the START button
- Wait for the phone to reboot
- Done (if it took you more than 30 seconds, you need practise!)
flash oficcial rom with odin 2.3.3 2.3.4
and then go to recovery mod (home key+power button) then click install zip form sd card and then pick that rom and then do factory reset and wipe cache reset
and then reboot
Hi mv_style,
I tried flashing official rom with odin. Everything ran successfully in oDin. But when I rebooted my phone it shows the start screen and then restarts and this repeats infinitely.
Can you please let me know whats the problem and how can I fix it?
Thank
Did you try reflashing it again, after factory reset and wipe?
Ok press Power buttom + Home buttom and select wipe data factory reset and than reboot the phone.
Install clockworkmod and wipe all ...it wuold be the solution

Well, I hope someone can help me.
A few hours ago, I tried to root my phone with the cf root for Kpn but it got stuck on param on Odin.
I removed the usb, and it gave me this mobile to computer on the screen. Anyone can tell me what to do to get my phone back? thx
Dont panic remove the battery and try getting into download mode and flash either XXKB3 or XXKPE
If you are not able to get into download mode try getting into recovery and wipe data and cache and then try again to get into download mode
Are you talking about this Screen?

If you see the Black Screen of Death I found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15330252
But first of all I would try to get back into Download Mode and flash the last complete ROM (not an update) with pit, bootloader, pda and so on. For example XXKPE
Didn't ever faced this problem. I'm not sure if I really helped with this.
I had experience this. can you get into the download mode by pressing 3combination button(menu,volume down and power button)? Try it as many as you can until it can go to the download mode and then flash the stock froyo that can be downloaded here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647
If you cannot get into download mode, you can try this -
1.) Take off your back cover, remove your sim & mirco sd card.
2.) Remove your battery.
Make sure you have Odin OPEN with admin privileges!
Make sure you have the USB plugged into your PC but NOT your phone!
3.) Hold the volume buttons.
4.) Put the battery in.
5.) Put the USB in.
Continue holding the volume keys & you should pop into DOWNLOAD mode within a few seconds.
Thanks to Master.
Thank you a lot
That was the screen I saw Taraen.. I got scared for a while.
I removed my battery and inserted it and then went to download mode.
Flashed it again but my battery is completely low.
It seems ok for the moment. I hope it won't restart by itself :/
Thanks a lot to all of you who posted to help me

Im using Windows 7 Pro X64 if that matters
If you are trying to get into download mode, don't hold volume up and down, just hold volume down on this rogers phone. I had the exact same problem.

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ( Old version ) .
I got a problem with my device
I can`t turn it on anymore, when I hook it up with USB plug into ( PC ) or ( Power Adapter ) I got the following screen :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
so I thought its not charged.
But then I left it to charge full ( 3 - 4 hours or maybe more ) but when I turn it on the welcome screen shows and stucked forever like following :
I tried to reset the factory and data and cache and everything inside BOOT list ( into "Power + Voulme up " menu ) but nothing happen too and the welcome screen still keep stucking .
What can I do ?
Some people told me I should put a new ROM/Software into it
But what is true ? and where is the problem ?
Please HELP !
I can't see any of the pictures you have put in your post. Have you tried reflashing your current rom onto your Note 10.1 with Odin? That usually fixes problems like this and it lets you keep your data.

1. Find the firmware for your device base on it's model number: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
2. Download Odin onto your computer and run it.
3. Get your tablet and when it's turning on, hold the power button and volume down button until you get to the warning screen.
4. Press volume up to continue to download mode and plug your tablet into your computer via USB
5. On your computer, make sure Odin says "Added!". Load the firmware as a PDA into odin and press "Start". Do not unplug your tablet until the process has finish.
6. Android should begin to update and once that's done you should be good to go.
Post resolved, turned out that phone was a fake chinese one. No way to unbrick it as there is no known OS to flash it.
--------------------------
Ok, some backstory a friend brought this phone from Peru to Argentina (so I'm assuming it's a SM-A908B global version), seems network wasn't working, so someone tried to "fix" it and sort of bricked it. I said, ok give it to me and I'll just flash an official firmware to bring it back to life. But I can't enter download mode.
-Phone turns on but it's stuck in logo screen (I noticed from some videos that their phone has a 5G after A90)

-Turning it off and pressing volume up + volume down and putting usb cable goes to "Factory" (This also happens when powering off and powering on with volume down + power button)

-Volume up + power button goes to this:

Then you can access fastboot and recovery mode
Spoiler
-From recovery menu, "reboot to bootloader" takes you to fastboot, so it's the same as the second option from the previous menu.
-Bonus image from "root integrity check" where we can see that previous person tried to change IMEI and ****ed up
Spoiler
So far I tried:
-A basic wipe data/factory reset, but obviously it didn't work.
-Extracting recovery.img from AP_A908BXXU4CTL3_CL20174301_QB36568574_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS10.tar (and extracting from lz4) and flashing it via fastboot, but it fails as it says it doesn't have permission to flash recovery.
-The same with System.img extracted from the AP file, but fastboot flash just fails (I could try to do this via adb in recovery, but I would like a second opinion here).
Any help would be very welcomed. How to get access to download mode to flash an official firmware, or how to flash a odin firmware via recovery mode (I tried searching for this but couldn't find much).
What happened for this to report modified file ??
Are you asking about the log of "root integrity check"? I don't know what the previous person tried to do with the phone, probably tried to root it and failed. Looks like some system files were modified
