Just checked the Samsung app store and found NFS!
Plays awesome.

Man this sucks! How come I never get to see ANY apps in the Samsung Apps!?!?

OK; I keep seeing references to the Samsung App Store, but there isn't such an app on my T-Mobile Tab... Does anyone have an APK for it? Is that all that is necessary to install it?

Samsung App is the dumbest way of distributing apps not only because it doesn't work properly (especially if you flash different firmware) but because it's regionally controlled by negligent and lazy phone providers. Why can't we have equality? !?!?

Agreed...... NFS not showing on the UK Tab and Asphalt 5 HD is the wrong version for the Tab.

Asphalt HD works, but it is an enormous app (100MB+) so I have excluded it from my Titanium Backups.
NFS Shift isn't available in Samsung Apps (UK). I guess one way to make appear is to change the Product Code via the IMEI service mode...yuk !

That is so weird in that Asphalt 5 runs flawlessly for you.
I've tried Asphalt 5 downloaded from the Samsung App Store and on my UK non-carrier Tab it does not fill the screen but instead runs in the top left side of the Tab and non of the buttons correlate to where you press. As such it is totally unplayable.

Yep its odd. I had to download the galaxy tab specific version from gameloft website (asphalt 5)

Was that a Demo? as I can't seem to locate a demo file at Gameloft for the Tab.

Not so sure about this NFS thing anymore. AndroidGuys (or another Android blog) have quoted EA saying NFS will be public to Android users late December. Is the game you got from Samsung Apps a demo or full game?

Trying to understand why we are both on the UK Samsung Apps with your download fine but my download is a corrupt screen.

I've got NFS Shift on my UK tab and it is mint! Best racing game on the Tab! Make's Asphalt 5 look worse than it actually is! (Which is hard!)

Did an upgrade to stock JK5 about 2 weeks ago and left it at that.

I finally found out why the Asphalt 5 from the Samsung store would not work on my UK Tab...... I had another look at the information that was showing for the download and noticed Samsung had changed the update date to the 29th Nov 2010. The one I had previously installed and which would not work correctly was an earlier Nov release.
Downloaded again, installed and this time it works fine.
At last, now I can let me granddaughter play (she loves her cars).

PS store no longer works in UK

Update for Some european countries, PSN was also under scheduled maintenance on my PS3, maybe updating compatability for some games the Japanese store has, i.e. Loco Roco , and patapon is also due a release soon on PS certified devices, with more announcements to be made.

I got the same issue after i reinstalled the psstore apk and rebooted. But i think there is no need for an unofficial port from the psstore. It´s not going to work until sony opens it. Because of this i use the japanese version and i got loco roco midnight carnival. There is only one problem, its only available in japanese.

My personal theory is that they've locked out all the locations and devices it isn't out on officially, and open it back up with the release of the PlayStation Suite. Which I think will come out when the Vita is released, as that's also getting PS Suite. And if I'm right, that means that we've only got to wait till Feb 22.

Thing is, it exists, some of the games on there are xperia play only like g- police. Plus just before it stopped working some new games had appeared in the list.

It`s working again for me too, shame there isn`t really much of interest on it right now, hopefully that will soon change, at least now I don`t have to go through the Market for PS goodies (never been able to use market since they don`t accept my debit card).

There's a new update, version 1.3.0. It will prompt you to install when you open the application. On the American side, there is absolutely no difference in the app.

On the american side? But it's not even available for us! Or are you guys using the euro apk?

Just updated in the UK - content is still the same but hopefully it's putting the groundwork in place for new stuff to come out.

It works and is installable on all devices without rooting. But theres just no content.

It would not let me get in without updating. It was only for the store, not for the launcher so I doubt it would affect the games.

The USA store opened up for xperia s and ion in this update (not sure about play). If changed the build.prop under final property's (all R800 to LT26i) or what ever model over in the USA you could use your U.S psn account.

Its not open on the Play, at least not the Verizon one. If its open on others I will be attacking my build.prop at my earliest convenience. Then sending ANOTHER nastygram to Verizon and Sony....

It's not. Hence why there is NO content because there is NO version for the usa yet. Yes changing the build.prop will work, but still does nothing as far as anything in the us region is concerned lol

By changing the build.prop to the other devices you will be able to see games. They set out a collection of games on the store for different devices. The collection from the play and the S ot ion is different. (example. You can buy g-police on the play UK but not the xperia s UK) also the tablet has had access to the psn USA store for months going back to last year.
Ps if you wondering the games brought will have the play controls. It's yes it will state what devices it works on in the description. The apk files are all the same.

So Sony is releasing an app called PlayStation Mobile. It is currently available on Sony's website HERE for download. It will soon be officially released for the HTC One family (X and S mentioned for sure) soon. So far, just indie games are mentioned. Games that are seen on the PS Vita. Games are $1 - 5 (stupid?). Here is a link with some info:

The idea is: does this mean anything or is it just **** Sony is introducing to get more cash? Or are these games actually console-like quality or just mobile rip-offs.

I get that, but it already has certification and has since the launch of the One Series, there just wasn't content available. Here are screens of it from my device, working.

I could be wrong, but I believe that it's not available in all regions.

Crashes on launch on my stock T-Mob One-S.

It's because its not officially released for us yet, check the device list it says details will be announced later, there's a flashable on xda android apps section and androidpolice for the certification and it works I already downloaded and tried a game, it will get better as time goes and the onscreen controller is cool

I don't get it, I post pictures of it working on my device yet everyone still claims it doesn't work LOL. All I did was download the apk directly from Sony and installed it. Guess I'm lucky, sweet!

Well what Rom are u using? U must have some PlayStation certification hiding in ur Rom somewhere, do u remember when xxpachaxx released that Sony bravia/playstation add on awhile back? It was even a feature on the axiom Rom

I just used the app on the stock nanodroid backup. Works perfectly.

works just fine for me as well... just downloaded and installed APK.
didn't have to flash the zip file. Im running CM10 CodefireX 10/01

The one line was ready for it yesterday too, because I downloaded the application right after it was posted in the XDA app forum. No clue why your phone didn't work.

Does it require the internet connection to be switched ON for single player campaign too?

Nice game, glad to see Gameloft still support Play's touchpads (even i'm on ICS rom)
But it need internet to be played, wich i don't like for single player games...

R800i , on ics rom and touchpads works (gameloft's games are almoust 100% compatible on ics stock based roms)
Ps: maybe xda app quoted wrong person? It happends to me a lot

No it quoted you on my last reply, at least from the XDA website. I have attached a link for the Tank Battles apk, as it is free I dont see a problem sharing it. However if it is will a MOD please let me know. Thank you.

All right now i have to add that I am annoyed. I played through about an hour. And loaded up tank battles again and it didnt save my last place. Despite being logged in to GL last time and this time. I even restored my data from TB of where i left off last time. Nada. If anyone else has this happen please list here. Perhaps its a bug.

Installed to my tablet, then copied the apk to my Xperia PLAY and it works perfect. Here is the link for the latest apk of Tank Battles. It works flawlessly on the XP.. despite GL and Google PLAY now saying our phone is not supported. As this is a free game I don't see an issue with sharing this apk, however if it is an issue will a MOD please let me know know and I will remove it asap....
