This development thread is for the official RCMix blue, energized custom firmware series for the HTC Desire S !
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

What? Desire HD is mentioned numerous times, and Inspire 4g shares rom compatibility, so please do your homework before leaving comments.

good question. i can recommend voidu because its enough stable & has good functions like runnymede. for me both are same & good
For me, this is the best ROM from Proxuser and RCMix, no bugs, all work fine now... more use and feedbacks day by day... I don't like runnymede, the fonts sized too small for me.

Thank you. In notification, some app i can't read anything but it ok, np because it havent made by rom, it made by app
And i found a bug, if i change language to Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese), i try install a app => market force close => it just a test, np because i always use English on phone

difference is that is fully multilangual and is good optimized by capychimp. our leak was not good, everyday another bug we had found. if you compare files, they are almost same. but desire hd version is better.
anyway, i will update our leak too. someone always want original software

Yeah, i was confused too This seems better than the SAGA leak, that's too stock-ish. This is more tweaked. I'll flash this when i'm bored of CM7

Button backlight only turns on when it's real dark. would turn on much earlier in other roms.

Other than that, a pretty good daily driver I think. Let me know what bugs you find, so I know what to fix. If you'd like to be part of the permanent beta testing team, please PM me. Be prepared to know what adb does and have a dropbox account ready This is not an "early accesss" program, but a way to improve the ROM by having people actively test early builds and reporting back on issues.

WOW! NRG hits the evo 4g! you and sharkie made it hard to leave my tp2 lol excited to see this
Aw snaps! What's up NRG, I missed you from my touch pro 2 days. Glad to see your doing your thang still. I will be downloading this when I get a chance and I hope you continue your work on this Rom and other works. I recently decided to dive into sense 3.5 and like it. I just wish the Rom was a little more stable and complete. In time, hopefully it'll get better.

Alarm on Status Bar - Alarm Icon disappears after a reboot. You have to go to alarms, uncheck and recheck your alarm to get the alarm icon to show up again.

OC/UV Settings Not Sticking After Reboot - I appear to be the only one reporting this, but OC and UV settings changed via Daemon Controller are not "sticking" after a reboot...sometimes. That is the weird part, sometimes after a reboot the settings are still there (this is after a long time of usage). Sometimes after a reboot...and then another reboot (installing apps; changing system apps; etc...requiring a couple of quick reboots), the OC/UV settings revert back to "default". This may be a protection feature built in to Daemon Controller?? I would recommend installing the DaemonController-3.3-beta3.apk which is located at the bottom of Sybregunne's Post #1 here. (NRG's ROM includes DaemonController-3.1.apk)

AT&T Users - H+ and 5-Bar Signal status icons - Please see this post if you want to add the H+ data status icon and/or the 5-bar signal status icons.
The icons in the referenced post were made and tested for the "Themed" NRG ROM dated 11/27/2011.
I don't even know what NRG's "Stock" ROM looks like, so not sure if it will work on NRG's "Stock" ROM.
The set of instructions and references in the post should enable you to try to make them yourself if you want to!

Sense3 camera+ ver.2 - Nice camera update by 'Lyapota'. Panorama! Gallery effects work!
I installed the 'orig_camera_Runny4.zip' in recovery; rebooted; back to recovery and installed the 'lyapota_camera_plus2_Runny4.zip'. (Actually, my 2nd flash was the 'Blue_lyapota_camera_plus2_Runny4.zip' skinned by 'Rayford85' since I'm running NRGZ28's "Themed" ROM). I have not encountered any FC's. After flashing, I had to reinstall the HD Video Orientation Playback in HTC Gallery...see bug report.

It must be a sign - I got an Inspire for my wife this afternoon, and have been sitting on this board, reading about all of the various roms available for the phone. I was just sitting here trying to learn about flashing the phone while thinking to myself, "I really like Energy on my TP2 and my wife's Diamond 2, a pity that I have to choose again..." Refreshed the front page, and here we are!

Great, I was just thinking this morning that there is really no reason to flash ROMs any more cause they are all basically the same, and then I see this. Brings me back to the fuze days. Can't wait to flash it.

GTX would be very difficult if not.. impossible So probably not... And yes, plenty of tweaks and the RCMIX kernel

I am not a DHD user, but have started a "bug report" section in the Inspire thread, so I thought I would accumulate the early bugs here for the DHD for NRGZ28's review. It will be easier to accumulate the "bugs" here for our Chef...so let me know if something needs to be added.

What? Desire HD is mentioned numerous times, and Inspire 4g shares rom compatibility, so please do your homework before leaving comments.

This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the HTC OneS device. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look. Make sure to use TWRP recovery in order to flash the correct kernel or a compatible recovery that flashes the kernel included in the rom's zip! If your WIFI doesn't work, then THIS is why. Also, be sure to flash the correct wifi partitions, according to your hboot version. Search the thread for more info ('wifi partitions' is a good search phrase).

Unlocked TMO APN's that allow tethering without nags to upgrade your account (as well as editing the APN's of course)
Improved graphics throughout ROM
Tweaks to framework to keep Rosie launcher in RAM, no matter what ( so no homescreen reloads when you run too many programs)
Disabled 3 dot menu and set recent apps key to Menu key permanently
Some of the Energy tweaks sections don't do anything, as it will take me more time to port the necessary parts to the new base
Make sure you have a new kernel installed, otherwise your wifi might not work
