Best way to share apps is through a dropbox account, you can create one clicking the icon in my signature below.
I do NOT support or encourage, hacking copyrighted apps, or any other piracy act.

So your asking how to steal from developers who have worked hard to create apps that are intended to be purchased for each phone they are installed on?

Best way is to create a dropbox account like mateusm said , then you can both have the apps and have a backup too.

My bad, really, I missed the "paid" in the OP.

Alternatively, you can add your account to her phone. The market seems to have an ability to switch between multiple accounts that you have on your phone. This way at least feels like it would be more legit

For those including SetCPU in ROMs

The Dev wants you all to remove it. Just got a tweet from him.

Glad I bought mine the other day. Not trying to be high and mighty, just glad. I think it is always best to get things legit, but right now even more so with the things going on with the apps over at apple (trying to lock devs in so they con not port apps from over there to over here). This app is android specific, but just keeping the android market healthy so that it is more attractive for devs, so we get better apps is always a good thing. Also the apps are stupid cheap, so it is kinda hard to say you do not have that money with the expensive phone you are using.
I responded in other thread, moving this to apps section. Check out my post in other section. If there is clear evidence that rom users are using the paid app and not the app supplied here on xda by developer let me know and I will take care of it.

It matters because he's asked ROM devs to remove it. It's in the market thus it is a paid app.

? If the devs are using the same apk that he provides for the members then their shouldn't be a problem.
If anything you're stirring something up and for what?
If it bothers him, he can contact a moderator.

Whether they use the same APK or not has no bearing on the fact that the owner/creator is requesting it to be removed from the roms with a valid explanation, and that's the ONLY thing that matters... Is it so hard to link to the setcpu thread in a rom thread and give the guy the credit he deserves and the possibility of making a measly $2 for his hard work if someone chooses to donate and not just download?
god forbid someone feels abused and changes a service nobody is entitled to, to begin with, how selfish of him... Sheesh

Well said.
The issue is this: The dev wants people to make a choice of whether or not to buy the donate version in the market. If the free version is included in /system/app (Read only partition!!) in a ROM, then the choice of "do i donate or not?" is eliminated. I don't think it's too much to ask.

Indeed! That's all I wanted to state. The SetCPU dev works VERY hard to keep it updated and working with every phone. He deserves credit.

Most indeed are just an alternative interface to the normal market. The others are mostly manufacturer or operator specific versions.

Wow... I don't see any problem with posting this, but for real... why the heck do you type like that? I'd rather not read another post of yours formatted in such a way. It's not clever, and it doesn't make you look smart.
I do have to say one thing though. Anyone can make a list of programs, to provide people with something useful however.. that is another task. You give no information about these programs, you give no reference to the authors of these programs, you give no information about where to legitimately acquire these programs.. I would also doubt that all of these vendors want you distributing their software without permissions, even if they are available for free.
If you want people to view your posting as helpful, you may want to reconsider your approach. Format your text in a helpful and organized method (it's not a headline, or a title to a book). Include helpful and concise information about the applications. Provide links (at the very least) to the webpages associated with the applications. etc.

I think daveid or whatever was mostly pointing out that the way you type is annoying and difficult to read, as in don't uppercase every word. Just say what you want to say.
On topic, thanks for this but I don't want to go downloading 16 apks and installing a bunch of things without knowing what they actually are... can anybody tell me what is worth my time that has tried these?

Hold on.....all sarcasm aside, im really curious.
you posted a lot of things here, and the way your OP makes it sound is that these apps (or "Market Alternatives" as you call them), offer apps that you cannot get on the android market. Is this correct? Or are these, in fact, just another place to get the same apps that are on the Android Market??
Let's ask this different; Have you tried some of the alternative markets? And did you stick to anyone of them?
I totally agree there are a lot of things that could be improved in the stock market, but I'm not going to try all the versions you've posted Can we cross some of the list?

Question about downloading .apk

I have one question. If i found aplication that is not free on market but posted online like .apk and I download to pc. After that transfer to my phone via usb then install on it, am i going to be chargred for that app or there is no way that anyone can charge me or know that i have one? Thanks.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
No, you will not be charged for it.
I should remind you that this is piracy, which is not encouraged.
arrrg shiver me timbers
only downside also to taking a apk on a torrent or whateve u will rarely get updates...more likely none

Thanks for answers, everything seems to be ok and resonable
Btw any good app for VPN (cisco) does not meter if has to be paid as long that work propertly?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
i am not condoning piracy, but yes it is possible to just download an app from the web. appbrain does a good (but accidental) job of telling you when they need updates. you will need to find another version online though to manually update.
applanet is baisically all this but inside a single app. it is a pirated android market. once again, i dont encourage piracy, niether do i use it.

As someone who develops Android apps - please just go pay for it. We put a lot of effort into making these things and it's only a few dollars. The dollar you just saved was food you just took off someones table.
That said, any Android developer worth his salt should have already implemented the Market License feature. The new license model can remotely validate that your copy is legit and allows the developer to respond how they choose.
In my apps, I lock you out and show a nag screen with a market link... but I know some devs who just quietly phone home with your device ID and phone number.

You can search the Android market for music download applications.
other that that piracy is off topics here @ XDA.

If i were a mod i would let it go a bit more. There are some applications @ Amazon and in the Marketplace that are legal by Google's definition.
Once they start talking about other sites, it'd be locked.
but i'm not a mod.
Yeah I would go with google music or amazon. Frostwire might be free but it's most likely illegal like Limewire. Good luck.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Just type in MP3 download in the market and you'll find at least 2 or 3 that do the exact same thing as limewire. They all work well.
Good luck.
And I hope people won't bash you and demand a mod to delete this as there is no way in hell no one in their lifetime has once downloaded music/movies/software etc for free...

Just because its in the market does not mean we allow it here......
If you were asking about apps to legally download music then fine. As you mention limewire I'm guessing you don't wanna pay, therefore..............

[Q] How to add Anti ban in modified whatsapp?

I'm still a NOOB. I want to MOD whatsapp. But I mostly fear about getting banned :/ can anyone tell me, how to add "ANTI BAN" in modded whatsapp?
If anyone has any tutorial based on modding whatsapp and adding PLUS features in whatsapp, that'll be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance
No modded WhatsApp out there is safe & can proudly say that their app is ban proof I guess getting permanently banned is the worst scenario for us all
So I'd advice you to lay low for now & enjoy the official WhatsApp hopefully those third-party developers can counterproof this ban saga

How about just quit trying to cheat the system. I'd be willing to bet that you probably both use tricks to steal games and in app purchases also.
