[Q] Any chance for Team Tiamat ICS Xoom Rom? - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I would sure like to see a Team Tiamat ICS Rom. They were largely responsible for all development on the Xoom.

I am working on an ICS rom. I won't be releasing anything until it is more complete at the moment though.

ICS Launcher by team syndicate

I found a great laucher that is very smooth and fast!! Works on my sgt P1000
Ics launcher by team syndicate
available in the play store.
And team syndicate's webpage: syndicateapps
Instead of fooling people into thinking you have ics, why not flash cm9 to your tab? Check your compatibility in the developers section and also cyanogenmod for nightlies. Currently my p1000 on verizon runs cm9 and it's way more functional than when it was running gingerbread.
im a noob!!

Xoom 4.0.4 - rooted but which ROM to enable overclocking?

Hi folks. Ive been trawling through the forums in the developer section all day.
What I have it a US wifi only XOOM with 4.0.4 - was totally standard.
Now what Ive managed to do is boot unlock root it so far. What I want to do is overclock it. To do this I understand I need a custom ROM on it. But which one? Just want something tha'ts stable and works. I cant quite get that information from the developer section. Im not too fussed about JellyBean for the moment
Any help would be welcome
Cheers
Do you want jellybean or ICS custom ROM?
Team eos ROMs are THE ones for you, stable and super fast,
Mz604 jellybean ROM from team eos. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28576370
Mz601 jellybean ROM from team eos. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=171.

Without doubt, team eos roms are the best. No debate about it at all.
As for ics , or jellybean, team eos ROMs ICS are fully customized and funtional even with theme engine. Lots of options included.
Jellybean ROMs are under development, but they are so stable, and compared to ICS, they are way smoother and faster including more options from source.
Team eos release updates and add features support constantly say every week at least which you flash with wiping cache and dalvik only. Their amazing work is appreciated and guess what, they do it for free. That is why we love them and donate to them.
As for the added features of jellybean on top of ICS by Google source, refer to this link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28839960
Bottom line, catch team eos and preferably jellybean to feel how amazingly smooth and fast it is asap.
As for over clocking, they have this option under system settings for over clocking. And, you also can download off the market setcpu app or any other equivalent app to do the same job.
Welcome to eos xoomers

I did not see that! Duly clicked.
The url you posted for Mz601 isn't work for me. Can you double-check it? I tried to browse for it but all I found was what appears to be a EU version.

CM9 nightly builds

In the nightly Dev for CM9, can these builds be flashed on MT4G? Which build do I use for this device?

Unfortunately we do not have official cm9 for glacier. Therefore we do not get official cm9 nightlies.

Here's some info about cm9/cm10...looks like official cm ports might be coming our way eventually

If you want to run cm9 ports right now I can recommend either of these:

or

I've been running cnote74's with no issues but plan on installing 0.0's today to try it out.
Hope this helps!

HellFire 2.4
Hey ALL! I signed up just to say this. I have been rooting and flashing custom roms for a while now. I can't give ALL devs enough credit for all there great work. I my self have the T-Mobile G2x. Stock was great but when i started flashing it opened up a whole new world for me. Now for the important part. Two days ago i flashed the new HellFire 2.4 rom, and its FANTASTIC!! It is by far the BEST rom for the G2x in my opinion. Especially since its using Faux's newest kernel. HellFire 2.3 had some issues with the battery overheating so i switched to a tweaked CM7 rom and flashed Faux's kernel to it. But it seams that the great guys in Hell have fixed the problem in v2.4 and the rom SCREAMS! IF YOU HAVE A G2X AND YOU DONT WANNA SETTLE FOR THE STOCK 2.0 ROM ANY LONGER I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HELLFIRE 2.4!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! SEE YOU ALL IN HELL!!!!

g2x net 10
ok guys so been checking out some of the roms and they are great as usual but has anyone tested any on net10 that have been fully functional or is anyone up for assembling one?! i will save you some time.. we need to remove tmobile apn and assign net 10 as the default which settings can be found on their website or i can give them and we need to work 3g capability in somehow lg said they run on different frequencies and thats why i cannot get 3g even on stock.. i like this phone and think it has real potential as a net10 so if anyone is upto the task ill gladly donate for it and you can say youve done something to this phn i havent seen any evidence of being done yet hope someone is up to the task as im not that far into this yet to do it myself. any feedback is appreciated as well thanks
CyanogenMod CM7
Why is there no links to the latest CyanogenMod CM7 Roms in the current Rom list.
Contrary to most of the other listed Roms these are still updated (monthly) and seem to work quite well..

I didn't include it because most people like to have threads to go by with their ROMs they use. I guess I could add it.

Thanks, I have experienced as a newcomer that threads like yours with the various ROMs, kernels etc. listed are very helpfull.
I just thought it odd that one of the basic ROMs and one that still gets updates is not mentioned much in the G2x threads.

Am I the only one who would be interested in donating to an AOKP JB port?

Surely I can't be the only one with a TF300T who prefers AOKP to CM10. Ever since termleech stopped updating his ROM, I've been stuck with CM10 like the rest of us.
Is there anyone out there who's interested in maintaining a new AOKP ROM? Is there any particular reason why AOKP isn't being worked on for this device?

I guess you missed this one or weren't interested.

It is by the OP of the CM10 bounty thread.
Maybe everyone could support timmytim, OP of that thread to continue his work on AOKP.
