1. Go to Settings>Personal>GPS configuration
2. Change the value of 'NTP server address' to: us.pool.ntp.org

Rock solid daily driver
This is the most rock solid custom ROM that i have ever used. Whether you are an iPhone convert or just like to have the most features with as little "bulk" as possible this is it.
I've used every single custom ROM for Inspire and this has finally made me want to keep this phone for the long haul.

Why? Is something incorrect? I used my gps earlier without doing that and it still worked great. This Rom is sweet, theme is nifty.

I find the us.pool to be more accurate (down to 2m accuracy) as opposed to 20m with the previous server. Snake oil? Possibly

Yep, no sound either. Can someone post the link to the 8.2 kernnel? I am on the road and unable to really search for it. I thought I had it saved. I do believe we used the beta 8.6 on the last version that Mr. Garek put together. The last version worked great for me.

Sound is working fine for me, I did a full wipe/clean/dalvik ALL and install this version and works fine. for now.

Correction, my sound is working great. Stupid me had the volume down

After a day of exhaustive testing I must say this is very clean, all the way around. Thank you for sharing your work. Pardon me for not being around a computer but do you accept donations?

Not to be *****y or something like that. But you say stock miui, but this is stock miui-dev rom. They changed the messaging app and removed some stuff wich is really anoying. Is there anyone someone can just translate it without changing apps?

Just flashed it with CwM 3.0.0.6 and seems good. English language. I flashed it on top of 1.2.18 though. Haven't tested it much yet, but looks good so far!

Bit confusing this thread, surely a stock english MIUI rom is the chinese ROM with the english language files flashed, not one with stuff removed. What's the advantage of running this MIUI rom over this one just curious as i plan on giving MIUI a bit of a whirl.

The one in that thread has a Buzz kernel (v1.1.4) and a modified framework-res that gives the UI some 'extravagant' animations, not really a fan of them
The apps I removed were for the Chinese ROM only and not translated/usable for English speaking people.

Wasn't aware of that, I think it's always been the same for me? I changed the topic title anyway to make it more suitable if that is true.

Yup i believe most of the miui's posted here have that. I only found one who didnt by accident hehe. The best way to find out is install the chinese stock and youll notice some difference. But nonetheless thanks for the rom im sure people will appreciate it

Hi, is it by default at 1.51 GHz or you are using "set-CPU", thanks.

I think it's default at 1GHz. Use SetCPU to change the frequency.

I'm placing this note here so everyone can see it: IF YOU DOWNLOAD MY ROM VIA Rom Manager that is fine, BUT do not allow or use Rom Manager to install it, once the download is complete just reboot your phone into recovery and then do the full wipe and then choose install from sdcard, browse out to where Rom Manager stores its downloads and choose the rom there. Apparently Rom Manager has some issues with installing Roms although I have never had a problem with it at all.

What is clockwork recovery and how to use it
If you are having problems installing my ROM's try the steps below, this should get you up and going.
1. Reboot into recovery and do a "Wipe data/Factory reset"
2. Go to the Mounts menu item and choose to format system, data and cache
3. Choose "Install Update from sdcard", browse to where you stored my ROM and select it.
4. REMEMBER!! if you are coming from any other dev's ROM you must do a full wipe including the data partition before installing my ROM. You must also have ext4 recovery 3.0.26 or above. DO Not flash the NoSense rom over the top of the Sense rom do a wipe first.
Recommended Radio 12.54.60.25U_26.09.04.11_M2
If you want the HTC Twitter and 3D widget download the addins zip attachment and flash via recovery.

Yes this is the sense 3.0 components however the software info in the phone incorrectly reports 2.1, this is because not all of the sense 3.0 environment has or to my knowlege can be ported over .

I'll be posting 3.0.4 sometime tomorrow I have a few minor glitches to work out and am looking into a different kernel as well. I'll post more with the change log when I can.

hmmm apparently my screenshot util (part of droid explorer) doesnt have the capability of inverting colors rats...

Blue weather is easy to make, just gotta open up fusion.apk and change the files inside using m10 editor, save the file let editor do its thing and push to system/app

First boot will take a while to load, Please remember this is a WIP and is not 100% fully functional and any help will be appreciated.

Setupwizard is messed up, just click right below in the screen a couple of times where the next button is located and you will be fine and set phone up via settings
If Rom is very buggy, go to settings / Development and turn of Animation /transition - this fixed it for me and now Phone is fast

THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL PROVIDE BEST INSTALL AND A FASTER SMOOTHER ROM.........
1. Download super user fix as mine wouldn't update. Here https://rapidshare.com/files/3452039741/root-fix.zip
2. Download and install JDR0iD SeNSuS 4.0.
3. Reboot to fastboot and install firmware (if coming from GB or old firmware (3.32 required)
4.reboot, keep tapping where the next button would be during setup (right of the lockring) setup is buggy on all Roms, set up phone manually once booted.
5. After about 10 mins to stabilise, download one of Sebastian kernels to what ever suits you herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424345 (Fixes camera glitches)
6. After kernel flash, go to advance menu and fix permissions twice
7. REBOOT AND ENJOY

I havent changed nothing to be honest, I will in releases going forward, all i have done is in the op, updated twitter/facebook and added faceunlock

damn.. i just installed yours and still have failed to gain root access. I cannot restore backuped apps

those features are probably broken as of now. and the ville ruu is not a leak, it's a developer's preview. although there's "release-keys" in the build.prop, but it's still watermarked. that's the weird part of it..

Yes, go to settings. Select Information tab then Date & time. Use 24-hour format - turn that off.

See that button on your keyboard on the left that has a Chinese symbol followed by Abc? Press it and it will change to a bigger Abc and it will not be Chinese symbols anymore.

I'm kinda digging this ROM, at least its a break from Sense lol. Anyways, I've been tinkering with the ROM and fixed the roaming indicator. Flash this to fix it.

This ROM isn't too shabby, it's nice to try something a little different. I had some issues with TB restoring some of my apps but that may not be ROM related. Also a few of my apps aren't showing up in the market. Not sure what the issue is but haven't had time at work to try and figure it out.
Edit: Found a pretty significant bug (or maybe it's just me). If I hit the menu button inside any application, the app immediately force closes. Kind of making this unusable :/

Not happening to me. Did you change the theme in theme chooser? I've noticed on one of them I got a FC when I was hitting menu.

So far so good. Installation went well and looks good. Where do I find themes you have included our what do I need to do see under themes.

Does the MMS fix found here work with the latest version of this ROM? I tried testing it out yesterday with some 2.7.*.* build and it took a really long time to send and then a while later I got a text from 99999999 with a whole bunch of symbols, which I heard is the cause of SMS Split not being enabled but I couldn't find the setting for that under the messenger app.

they may not install correctly (i may have forgotten to add the script)
pull them out of the zip file (/data/system/theme)
dump them into /sdcard/miui/theme
(or just put them on the sdcard and import them one at a time if you arent using root explorer)

All those edits (for sprint) are in the build.prop, and some others for multimedia fixes, wifi improvement and battery life...

Thanks. Another question, do we still need to flash 2.3.23 first and then the new 2.8.10? Or can we install this new version with no hassle? ORRRR do we have to first flash 2.3.23, then 2.7.27, THEN 2.8.10? Haha.
The original post only lists installation directions for 2.7.27 so just making sure on how to install this correctly.

OK, found themes in your zip files and moved to miui/theme. I do not see the one you have posted screens of, which one is it.?
Only thing I noticed is memory usage seems high, always in 468 to 478 in red.

According to the "OP" if you are not in 2.7.27 then first flash 2.3.23 boot up, establish internet connection, then flash 2.8.10. If on 2.7.27 then simply flash 2.8.10
