My hard drive and disk drive I ordered didn't come with a cable to connect to the mobo, so is this what I need? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812189204

How would I go about obtaining a cable that is a male micro usb on one end, and a female full size usb on the other? I wanna connect a usb keyboard to my HP Touchpad, and I read an article saying that the TP has usb host support, I just need the cable.
I doubt you can buy a cable like that, but you can certainly make one yourself.

Is there a standard for putting audio out of the mini usb?
Is it something written in stone or do each manufacturer just do there own thing?
I have not tried to find out how mine is wired yet as i dont have a connector with enough pins to make a breakout board and see whats going on, but my viewpad7 has such a connector with extra pins, i think it was the htc wildfire which did, and my canon sx30 camera has one too...

I need to connect my pen drive to Motorola Atrix 2. I have tried getting the OTG cable , but it does not detect it, I assume that the 5 Volt requirement is not met as the USB never lights up as it always should.
I would like to know whether it is possible to achieve the same with a Micro USB hub ( http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/613308120/3_port_usb_hub_for_micro_USB.jpg )
The connection is like USB male port connected to the charger/laptop and micro usb to the phone while Pen Drives to the female port.
Has anyone done this before? If it is not possible is there any other way?
There is already a thread for this, right here in the Q&A section. I found it within seconds of reading this. If I can find it, you can too. Please search and read before posting questions that have already been answered. Also read the forum rules found here:

Note, rule number 1, search before posting.

Hi,
You likely need an "otg cable", which is not the same as the cable that comes with the phone.

Good luck,

Hello guys
First of all I will excuse me for my bad English.
I've a question about the use of the USB OTG system. I'd like to use a general 3xUSB (female) to MicroUSB (male) cable in this way: 1 numpad/key arrows, 1 mouse and 1 port for charging the Android phone itself at a power point. Is this possible with the general cables in the stores? So not, does it exists and where must I pay attention(I don't really mean the OTG Y cables, because I can't find one with 2 USB (female) ports and I don't know where the energy gain from the Micro USB (female) port and charger is good for (Recharging phone or powering the USB port)
The reason I'll ask this is becuz I like to play Oldschool Runescape play easier on my mobile phone with XDSL Wheezy than I do now. I hope the mouse and numpad/key artows work already with it.
Greetings Delelith and thanks in advance!
