Im looking for a music player (samsung, stock, custom, or app) that has options for the speed you can play your music at and if possible set pitch. Thanks in advance.

Please share your preferred Music Player, and explain why. I use DouvleTwist due to it's clean interface, and smooth navigation. I also use the Widgets on my Homescreen.

i use Zplayer, always loved the zune theme and artwork is awesome. lockscreen replacement very useful also.
I tried quite a few out there, and I found that the Android version of Winamp was everything I needed.
I like a few of them, hard to decide between them:
Zplayer
Songbird
PowerAmp
I just use the Google music updated player, I've synced about 5000 songs to my google music account already so I figure, whatever.

+1 for PowerAmp. The EQ & customization options are the best I've used so far. Doubletwist doesn't work well with the G2x
I use the ubermusic beta
That's what she said...
I just switched to UberMusic Beta... It's amazing. You can find the APK in the Android Apps Section

To me POWERAMP is the best music app you'll find on an Android phone. The sound quality is superb coming out of my Panasonic Surround sound.

hey guys, for you poweramp users how do the tweaking features (EQ, BASS, etc.) compare to DSP Manager?

You can actually utilize both poweramp and dsp manager. What I like about poweramp is that it's simple, yet advanced audio settings.

i was thinking of going back to EB Froyo, which doesn't have the DSP Manager so was wondering how they compared. it's actually one of the reason i went to a GB rom...
poweramp is good, but I think playerpro is better. I use them both.
Fedes UberMusic. Because it remind me of my zune. I love my zune.

As topic title says, i'm looking for a player with ogg vorbis playback and shake to skip track, like miui music. Is there some other app with these features, or maybe a way to install miui music in cm7.2?

Is there any working music download app that displays the bitrate and size of the song?
If I'm not wrong don't you think downloading music from an app would be illegal(I mean piracy)

Yes it is illegal.
Sent from my GT-I5800 using xda app-developers app
But why are then these apps available for download in the market?
The apps i've seen only stream music, they don't allow you to download and play the music from your music player and ita not like google can find every illegal app and delete it.
Press thanks if I helped.
Well, sorry if this is known to all, but it was worth sharing!
Omich Player is, well, just a player, but it is a blend of Google Play Music and our CM's Apollo Player.
Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omichsoft.player&feature=search_result
Confirmed compatibility with equalizers like Awesome Beats. Since Beats is just a modification of DSP, that should also work, and so should SRS.
and its very light ... 300 KB
Sounds good

Because it's an Apollo/Play Music fork?
Idk if the devs are still active, but the ONLY thing preventing me from using Omich is the fact that the Artist list doesn't display artist albums, instead showing "No data found." The Albums tab still works, as does the songs list when you select an Artist. Any ideas?
Edit: Nevermind, it appears that Omich doesn't include an album an artist appears on, only albums that the artist is the Album Artist for.
I can't seem to find a lyrics app that does what I want. I use Spotify and I want a lyrics app that syncs with the song. I can't find one that works with Spotify, maybe you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
