Can't boot into recovery - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I restored from cwm the ns4g miui.us. when I opened rom manager it stated cwm was not available. I installed it from rom manager and now I can't boot into it. Tried booting from rom manager, the rom itself and fastboot. It just hangs on the Google logo. Phone is still unlocked. Any help would be great.

This. Then I would do a full wipe, and reflash Rom, or flash a different one altogether...

ODIN root
CM10
CM10 was acting weird
Stock ROM ODIN flash
Stuck in boot loop. Recovery mode gives me multicolored lights all over the screen. Download mode just vibrates.
:crying:
Any help here would be GREAT. I'm over here FLIPPING OUT!!!
Odin clockwork mod recovery image and then DL pacman ROM. Plus a jb radios, and gapps. You can find all in the op of the pacman forum. Make sure to not have the repartition option selected in odin

Is there a step by step guide to this just so I don't screw anything else up?

I would also like to add that after flashing stock over custom you WILL get stuck in a boot loop. All that is needed is to wipe cache and dalvik then reboot. Were you able to navigate recovery at all, or were there flashing lights and nothing else?

A truly bricked phone will not boot period. So even though it doesn't boot properly, there is still hope. Let me know if you fixed it, man. If not I'll do my best to help. Step by step if need be.

I don't doubt that you did, bro. If you're still having trouble booting into your stock ROM, try booting in to recovery and wipe cache partition and dalvic cache. Works every time

Oh no by that I meant that I fixed it. All is running, and quite smoothly at that.
THANKS TO ALL WHO ASSISTED

Here to help man. My blaze and I have been there done that. With the while multi color boot from hell that is. Man I've soft bricked about every kinda phone there is. The feeling of satisfaction after fixing your expensive holder downer of papers is amazing huh? Glad you got it fixed man. Really though I actually strongly recommend that PAC ROM. It's boss ninja style. Now that you have clockwork mod flashing is as smooth as pie. Make sure to nandroid (back up) first that way if anything goes wrong you're covered. But anyway enjoy the taste of victory brother.

Flashing rom's

Can somebody help. Every time I flash a new ROM I seem to have features of the previous ROM, any ideas on how to get rid of that, and I'm alone in this.

Yes, more details would help. What ROM were you on, how are you flashing new ROM, etc
Does your device have its own section?
General full clean flash involves booting recovery, factory reset, advanced, wipe dalvik cache, mounts and storage, format system.
Install Rom zip and gapps package and reboot.

Either use adb to push a ROM zip to your phone, or flash the stock images in fastboot

use fastboot to flash a recovery and then use the recovery to mount the sdcard on a computer so you can push a rom over. if you want stock fastboot can flash stock.

Yes.
You can also flash a rom from a usb stick by connecting it to the phone using an OTG cable.
