my sensation freeze when it start at logo screen....please help

if you are flashing ICS rom then it will freze as the firmware is still of gingerbread and you need to update it
for flashing firmware(3.32/3.33) and flashing ICS rom ..refer to this thread

i did not know what it was flashed with, i try to s-off but the problem that the revolutionary file dose not recognize the phone even when i work on sdk , i cant recognize the phone
but it just work with htcdev unlock methd

ahh you unlocked via HTC-DEV over 1.18 HBOOT ? thats a bad move
now dont upgrade to ICS you can still do revolutionary SOFF
do this
flash any Gingerbread ROM
then once you booted up ..root it (no need if you flashed a custom rom ..as it comes prerooted )
then you need to go to superuser app and make default access is allow
then you need to relock your bootlaoder (fastboot oem lock )
you need to temp root (using my soff temp root ..take the temproot_sensation_windows zip from my soff guide and run temproot.bat file)
then you need to run the revolutionary (phew that s a damn long process)
revolutionary will work then

but how to flash gingerbread rom if the phone not recognized,and recovery not work ???

Seemed to have killed phone

I have spent a week driving myself insane with this phone and now it won't boot and I cannot seem to get is back to factory settings.
I tried to follow guides here for rooting but I could not get them to work.
In the end I used this guide (including the unlock bootloader via htcdev) and it got my phone rooted.
I then thought it would be a great idea to install the viper S rom... It was not. Now the phone will not go past the ht sensation logo on boot and I cannot get the firmware here (phone parses the file and then does nothing on the bootloader), the odexed stock image here or the any other image like this to install.
Please can someone tell me how to get this phone working again?

the problem is when you are flashing a rom when you are S-ON it has not the ability to flash the boot partition by itself
you have to flash the boot.img of the rom manually or
flash 4ext recovery ,enable smartflash from it and then flash the rom.see here

Thank you very much, I have now got the viper S rom running after using the linked to information (Enable 4EXT SmartFlash)

i was able to revive using jtag tool..
and now i only got bootloader only.
but with s-on and bootloader locked.

All I can access in Fastboot and Recovery, How the heck am I suppost to get s-off, or SuperCID if I have no OS?
AndI have been working on this for almost two straight days! Can anyone please help me? I have tried several RUU's all say ERROR 155...

Hello, I find that to get SuperCID and S-Off only works if you have a ROM that has Sense on it. Try this:
Bobby, flash to the latest TWRP 2.8.0.1. Download it and type in "Fastboot Flash Recover (TWRP file).zip"
This should allow you to install the ROM. Go into TWRP recover in "Recovery" in "Bootloader" menu.
Download ViperOne Rom and in install it. (Hopefully it will load and bootup)
If it doesn't get past the Logo screen go into the "Bootloader" on the phone (Power + Volume Down). Connect it to your USB and make sure it's says "Fastboot USB". Extract "boot_hboot2.15.img" in the ZIP (in Kernal Folder).
Put the file in the same folder in your Fastboot/ADB . Type in "Fastboot Flash Boot boot_hboot2.15.img" and is should allow you to start up the ViperOne ROM.
From there you should be able to do your SuperCID and S-off. (Make sure your Rooted, SuperSU, and Busybox is installed before doing SuperCID and S-off)
Licifer2203, Try the same thing and it you should be able to get S-off.

I mistakenly wiped everything from my phone(went into recovery, wipe, advanced wipe, ticked everything and cleaned it) because the phone went into an unending Loop of restarts, now i have limited knowledge in flashing Roms but i work with the PC everyday. now i happened to get a custom rom from ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2445392 ) and followed the prompt till i got to fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.6.1.0.img at that point it kept giving me an error, i read up to knpw that it is an S-On problem but i cant get my phone to S-Off. I need help seriously PLEASE!! with how yurn s-on to s-off or with another way to get a ROM on the phone. Thanks

I can`t remember that you need s-off for TWRP and i dont think so!

Post exactly the error you get. For flashing TWRP you shouldn't be S-Off
Edit: I've checked the link for the ROM you've said you tried to follow flashing instructions....that is an S4 (ville) ROM and that TWRP is for S4 not for villeC2 as it appears in your bootloader info. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING from S4 section, you must flash a ROM and TWRP made for villeC2 (S3) cause they're not compatible.
