I manually updated my nexus s tonight, but the screen doesn't seam as sensitive, and for example the news results in Google.com on the browser is very stuttery, almost unbearable to use, anybody else notice this?or is it just me?

The browser framerate is better than the unofficial roms but the sensitivity/speed settings are too slow. At any rate opera mobile & mini are still much better.

On apple phones you can use 2 fingers to move around and zoom at the same time.
in android browser you need to zoom then release and use one finget to move around.

Opera mobile has pinch to zoom. The default browser should have it also.

First of all this board is great! Thank you!!!
I bought two gtablets last week and already modded one with TNTlite 4.4, and the other one still with stock ROM. I was going to give one to my mom.
After I play the same video and compare side by side, I noticed the significant difference in resolutions. Tablet with stock ROM has much better resolution than modded TNT4.4. Did I mess it up when I was modding?
Browser
I did some more testing and it appears to be the issue with browser. I played the same video HD trailer of Captain America on browser youtube vs Youtube App. There is a night and day differences in two.
Youtube App - no pixelation.
Browswer Youtube - tons of pixlations.
Any advices or suggestions?
Any advice before I change my ROM from TNTlite to VEGAN? That pixelation on flash video on browser is driving me nut.
Again, it's no issue with youtube native app, and it's only happening in browser.
Try changing your browser settings to PC instead of android. Might help.

It's already desktop mode if that is what you mean. I even have flash player 10.2.
Has anyone else noticed a lot of stutter in the default camera app that comes with the phone? All the camera apps I get from the market work fine and very smoothly, but the default is horrendous!
Yes, it is WAY too long. LOL at the timing of your post -- I just posted re: the camera as well!
If you select scene --> sports, the capture is much quicker, but the shot will likely be dark and not crisp.
Yeah I've noticed that changing the mode to sports makes it faster (probably to get in "action" shots), but it's really not a solution for the laggy app =(
Yes slight lag, that makes me miss the photo-op.

Any fix for it? Any word on an update cominf soon that will fix this and also fix the 1080p camera issue? The lag is really annoying. Mine prettty much lags no matter what launcher I use.

So I have read several places using minfreemanager helps with HOX multitask issues somewhat. My question is to what extent? Can you say use web browser, answer a text, then come back to same spot? What about same thing with gaming, streaming music in background and using gps? I really really love this phone, AMAZING display and build design. I am even willing to deal with the 10gb HD, but I stream music, read ebooks and use GPS alot. I just left sprint and want this phone sooo bad. Any input or personal experience on the matter will be appreciated and +1'd thanks!
I haven't used minfree personally, but I do have CleanROM installed. I can listen to Pandora while typing this, switch over to YouTube and watch a video (pandora pauses automatically) exit the video and keep typing in the xda-app and Pandora keeps playing where I left off in the song.
Is this the functionality you're looking for? I've been told the memory management settings in that ROM can improve it even further but I have yet to try those. The web browser isn't a fair test because the stock browser always tells it to reload.
I don't game so I can't comment on that.

Ok, just tried Pandora, GPS navigation, and I can start typing in here and switch to texting someone without it killing any of the apps. All my text stays on the screen in both apps. Not sure how much more you'd want really.

IM glad to hear this. What version of cleanrom are you running?

4.0 SE currently, but 4.1 looks to be even better at this.
