custom boot image for stock GINGERBREAD 2.3.4 XXKPJ galaxy mini
DOWNLOAD HERE
how to:
1. u must be in stock GINGERBREAD 2.3.4 XXKPJ
2. flash Enhanced Recovery by tj_style with odin
3. Place 4_BOOT_XXKPJ_DT_ROOT.zip at the root of sdcard
4. Boot to recovery mode (hold the power and home button together)
5. apply update from sd card
6. choose 4_BOOT_XXKPJ_DT_ROOT.zip
7. finish, reboot
features :
1. pre-rooted
2. a2sd darktremor (just partition ur sdcard then activate in a2sdgui)
3. support init.d (script that run when booting)
4. addition on /system/app/
- SuperUser.apk,
- A2SDGUI.apk
- DSP Manager.apk (Sound Management like in CM7)
- SpareParts.apk
5. added Juwe RAM Script
6. edited file /system/etc/hosts/ (contain ads blocker)

The Rom seem mature and stable only a few minor things do not work.
I search howto to install MIUIv4 on i9003 from scratch.... help me please...

Bro its very simple-
1-Download miui test key 4 from development section...

3-Copy the miui file to ur external sd..
4-Go to recovery mode......(when phone is off press combinations of keys volume up+centre bottom button and the power button)
5-Flash it...(install zip from sd card then choose zip and select where you have copied the file........
6-reeboot
and if u r on froyo--then update

Bro yes u have to flash xxkpq............but u should wait for a while ...its not a full working version......ex-camera not working.......very little hangs......not able to play hd 720p videos.....u can get this all by just flashing xxkpq and then us kernal v8 oc to 1.2 ghz...u can get it in development section....

Sweet......my net speed is slow....so will dl later......btw to testers.... If it works.... What abt incorporating into nightlies.....! WHo doesn't like a touch recovery......
Oh btw..... Abt d updated su binary.... Read in chainsDD 's blog that v3.1.1 is giving a lot of problems..... So rename ur existing binary in /system/xbin to su.bak and den update if u want to..... Just in case.... dis way u wouldn't have to worry abt root issues if they occur....... I am on wraithdu' s fixed 3.1 binary.... No seg faults there.....

[Q] what root.zip file for ICS?

Hey guys,
I tried to root my tab using the root file from here but it didnt work..says its installed but no root privileges aquired ..does someone got any other root file?
btw i'm on ICS 4.0.4

Permits root ICS 4.0.4 on galaxy tab 7 plus P6200
Root but without 'having a fixed CWM
- Download these 2 files (cwm.zip & root.zip) and copy them to internal SD:
CWM zip : http://localhostr.com/LB8fHicSiusY
ROOT zip : http://localhostr.com/9q7pQhk3UQgF
- Turn off the Tab and enter in recovery: (volume up + Power)
- Choose from the menu apply update from external storage
- Choose cwm.zip and wait until 'does not appear a new recovery blue touch version
- Select Choose install zip from sdcard and Choose zip from sdcard.
- Choose root.zip
- Install root.zip.
- Once you go back to the start menu and select reboot system now.
not carried out any kind of wipes after root .... use the new CWM 6

Edit:The CWM u provided gives temporary CWM,i use aorth's CWM and works like a charm
