[Q] Can we control the default music player from lock screen?

hello every one! can any one make the default music player have the option of control it from lock screen (next/previous/play/pause)?

i think no that's only available in MiUi..

yes we can but first we have to fix the cyanomod part in to the sysytem in the (CM 7 rc1) user interface control there is function to put music in!!
(the reason why i wanted)

get third app lock screen app and put music widget on screen.

I use poweramp and i freeze system music player.

phantom works with SEMC music player, now? i've tryed it a while ago and it was very buggy.

you can use milocker, golocker, or widgetlocker

the default music player widget isn't compatible with widgetlocker. Never tested the other options.
if only some dev could make it work...

Try using the new Musik player! I found it over at the donut ics rom! Download DonutICS.zip it is a flashable zip.. It is a theme for stock 2.3.3...
Now either flash the zip, if you like it of course, or extract the zip and take the new semcmusic.apk
Change permissions and paste/overwrite it into system/app
Tested with widgetlocker and works ;-)
An other good music app is ubermusic.. It has widgets too but you have to pay for it

The BESTEST app in the market!
the only problem i have with it is, it doesn't work in many custom roms available here( i have tried it in cm7.2, cm9. music mod, Razodroidv1.0 and mediamod) works in razodroid but starts lagging a lot whenever i am on my home screen
which roms do you guys use??

i know it is the best player and has a very good interface i had used it in my earlier nokia 5233 also ..but its not workin on my fit first it shows the start screen then then it goes black and hen it fc's

that's coz you might be using a custom ROM. This app doesn't work in most of custom roms

[Q] Best rom for music?

i am searching for a good rom for music
it has to be 2.3 or higher because on froyo you don't have dps manager
rom has to be fast i mean ,fast open sms,phone and facebook app i only use that and wifi to search web
any recommendation ?

Any cm7 based Rom should do
I personally like joyos for its theme and speed

Kyrillos rom 10 can work for u as it is having DSP manager and Voodoo sound. .

I tested music playing on GB and it has some slowdowns. It plays the song normally and then it just slows down the song's BPM a little, then plays again normal speed. Not REALLY noticeable, but it feels annoying when you have good headphones. Even with minimal CPU frequency locked to 200MHz. Happened to me 5-6 times a song sometimes. Beware of that. I would rather stick to 2.2 and avoid this and use some other music player with its own equalizer.
I don't know how does this affect you, but for me it's sometimes really noticeable.
But just consider it. If this doesn't affect your phone, enjoy DSP manager :victory:

Try Noozy but u need to be on a GB + rom but don't use it with voodoo sound it kills the sound very bad i would prefer Kisadworks , Joy or M-12 just replace the music.apk of the rom with noozy in system/app
& i u are using ICS+ rom u can try Noozy Rewire it's much like DSP Manager
PS: Noozy has it's own sound processor + a very beautiful ui (wp like ) enabled with grace note if u haven't tried it try it

[Q] Music Player

Recently I flashed Razodroid & used stock music app 1st tym after 10-11 months (long time though). I'm greatly impressed by its sound output. {Although I used to listen music via it very earlier (~2yrs ago) when on stock samsung...}
So, I want to know:-
* Is there any way to add stock (gb) music app support for CM & Android 4+ roms?
* & if not possible then pls. suggest some players which feature 5.1 channel sound & concert hall... ...etc. like features similar to stock music app.
Pls. answer both my queries.

You can try ttpod(eng version)
Its good player with awesome sound and the good thing is it downloads lyrics + album art of the song u listening and that to just in a sec on 2g network (though lyrics and album art are in kb but its good to see them in such a interface )

There are many but you have to search it!!!!
Someone has to port that gb music player to cm as it can be ported if one knows how to??
Try player pro i think it has that 5.1 ch feature!!!
But i like cm roms coz they have awesome sound quality and inbuilt bravia engine
Just search in play store you will get ample of such apps which hai 5.1 surr sound!!

I'm tired after searching a lot
but couldn't find any(sry...)
Hope that sum1 shall port it to Cyan roms in near future(atleast for me...) coz I too m fond of cyanogen/based roms.
I've player pro & poweramp since months but there'sn't any surround sound feature(although sound's good enough!!)

EDIT:- If possible, mention the names of some music players which provide 5.1 surround sound, so that I can download them directly via Google Play (without any mess...)

[Q] Viper for android.

I've installed viper for android in my s4 mini lte. It has a samsung jelly bean 4.2.2 rom. But it's not working in my default music player app. I've tried every thing changing but it's not working. doesn't give any improvement in bass or clarity. can someone tell me why is that? and also my device is rooted and I've changed music effects in settings to viper4android.

Viper4android isn't always 100% compatible. On my stock rooted nexus 4, it doesn't work across all apps and only on some of them. For example, it doesn't work on my stock music app, but works great through play music, so try another app like play music or just remove it because it not always compatible , especially with stock ROMS.
