Newest MARKET v3.4.4 Link included! - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Newest MARKET version it's 3.4.4 afaik(which I have installed already) and it's working fine with Cassie's V3+Abyss 2.1. I haven't bought anything tho but I see no reason for not working.
I didn't see it being mentioned anywhere and also some users suggested earlier version's as the newest ones so I thought I would share it.
Maybe it will fix some problems/bugs for some users.
GSMArena's post about it and also FILE uploaded BELOW:

[ROM][3.VII.2012] Fr0zenHotDog-0.13 BEATS!

This im my first public ROM so please be helpful,I just started playing with android and I'm still learning. I missed times when Paradoxx was releasing his Hydrogen so I decided to make my own light rom.
Internet is back so updates will be coming more often
I used Lord Clockan's IceColdSandwich - all credit goes to him and big thanks to him for the great ROM, some tips and for letting me do this
This is essentially IceCold but lightened.
Fr0zenHotDog - 0.13 - based on ICS 8.2
MusicFX is back
Implemented BEATS! - AwesomeBeats by ...Awesome... huge thanks to him for letting me use his package. If you are on 0.12 or any other ROM than just flash this http://d-h.st/XU0 and link to the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1728499
Fr0zenHotDog - 0.12 - based on ICS 8.2
Apex updated to 1.2.3 all set as previously
default font changed - last one didn't support country specific diacritic, it should be OK now.
Gmail updated (2.VII.2012)
Superuser updated (2.VII.2012)
deleted TTS service
deleted Maps
fixed battery icon - stock battery icon or text battery (no honey, genx etc.)
removed picasa sync
removed the overlay installer script
changed the network signal strength icon - I never liked the stock one
deleted themes
deleted ESFileExplorer and XDA - you can download them from the market
Initial release - 0.10:
Apex Launcher as default - set to 3 screens; drawer set not to show downloaded apps tab.
deleted most apps (list below)
deleted battery bar styles (will have to fix that)
deleted ringtones (one alarm, one phone and one notification left)
deleted wallpapers
some ui sounds changed (keyboard sounds from WP7 - much nicer)
Roboto fonts changed (all of them, including BOLD)
Added ESFile Explorer
Added XDA
Known bugs:
The SearchButton doesn't work - that's because the QuickSearch apps have been deleted. It works within apps but not in launcher.
When you go to settings and select themes, Settings will crash and take you back to desktop. Working on deleting THEMES from settings menu.
Apps deleted:

I will finish this page later.....for now just few details about the package. This is essentially IceCold 7.4 but lightened.
Apex Launcher as default - set to 3 screens; drawer set not to show downloaded apps tab.

Known bugs:
battery bar doesn't show up at all - my fault, I might have deleted too much, will fix that.
default wallpaper is not in line at the first boot - that was present in standard 7.4
I know it's not much but it's a start. ROM is only 113MB (40MB lighter). Next time I will try to make even smaller. Hope you like it:

This is the same as IceCold. The default font is a bit different though. Other changes are listed above. I will post some shots later

plz correct this post
I've been using LorD ClockaN's ROM for a long time now I'm a big fan of his work and effort that he's put into it, however.. a 'lite' version sounds great to me!
My layout on my phone, the way I customize it, is the exact same as whats in your ROM description. 3 home pages, no download tab in apps, the ringtones and notification etc... Thats all music to my ears brotha'! I hope he doesn't mind me using yours from now on, after all I now no longer have to change things after first boot Welcome to the scene haerigrek and thanks for making the world a better place. Hope you have lots of fun with it!!

Just installed the rom, so far so good. Runs smooth, as to expected since the base rom you use. Would like to know if you have any tweaks coming in next versions?
Keep up the good work!
Edit:
Just noticed the mail app is missing, on purpose?
Google search is missing: using the soft button doesn't work, adding the quick search widget doesn't work either.

Yes I'm using only the Gmail so the stock email app is gone. The search button may not work. As I deleted GoogleQuickSearch, there is no search application. I will look into that and if necessary the app will be back. I never used it so I didn't even notice.
For future releases I'm planning on even more set customization. I started deleting languages. In next release the apex launcher will be english only (or if requested maybe some other languages). I am also waiting for some faster launcher to appear. I like Apex a lot, it reminds me of ADW but with all the customization options it tends to slow down after some time. I was thinking about replacing the stock browser since there are some problems with it but Chrome isn't ready and I don't want to impose any other browser on you guys + 7.5 is on its way and the issues with the browser should be fixed by then.
I would like to ask which battery icon would you guys like me to leave. I deleted all of them which ended up with an error mentioned in the first post. I am willing to bring one back but I need to know which one will be the happiest choice for you. After all I am sharing this so you can be happier Cheers
I would suggest just a percentage (in numbers, nothing flashy)
Thanks for your effort - running smoothly at moment (apart from the problems you've pointed out yourself)
Look forward to next update

Thanks for support but I'm not developing, I'm merely modifying a great ROM to make it lighter to save space and maybe make the ROM run quicker.
It would be nice if you could refresh screenshots. I don't know how rest, but i like to see pictures of rom i am going to flash ;]
Btw. On first look, it seems quite nice.
This ROM looks like a cool idea! I just had a suggestion, I don't know if its in your "philosophy" of the ROM but wouldn't it be better if you left a little more stuff/everything in and let people choose what to keep or remove through Aroma.
For instance you can chose your ringtone at the start and not have extra ones wasting space or some people might want the stock sms and others might just prefer one from the play store.
Just my 2 cents

Facebook home porting.

Hey guys, i have bet you have heard by now the facebook home app. But like all good and cool apps there are limited phones available to use this app. Do you think we could port it for other phones? What do you think?
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda app-developers app
Honestly, I don't think it would be more difficult than to get a hold of the .apk, and transfer the file to a phone that isn't officially supported, and installing it... The Play Store restricts device compatibility based on developer's preferences, not actual compatibility
All things and apps should be downloaded by the same mobile only.
No matter of porting.
I'm not a Facebook junkie but I am curious and would like to try it out.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Yea I would try it bt wont keep it
It would b a hell lot of battery hogger like facebook integration on my xperia's Timescape...
Thanks to su privileges.... Timescape exists no more...
They're gonna give it officially to android. (I heard so), they are gonna make it as a launcher and it would be called "home".

I played a bit with this app today and I have to say that it is a very nice. And I only tried the free features . The only thing that makes me not to use this app is the ram consumption, over 100 mb.
OP if you can make it lighter it will be a really great switcher :thumbup:

The RAM consumption is mainly due to thumbnails saved in cache (= smoother app). I'll do my best to lower that number, or maybe add an option to let the user choose between using RAM cache or not?
Thanks for feedback :good:
[APP][4.0+] Fancy Switcher - Your new Task Switcher
Looks pretty good. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks
Hey I tried the free app and I would like to request some things:
1. transparent background like in stock switcher
2. Option to list the apps under each other instead of next to each other (also like in stock
3. Different position of clear and settings button. Like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
4. Option to disable app drawer icon
5. Notification icon: isn't there a way to just keep the notification and not the icon? The space is very ugly. Swipe home button for example lets you disable the icon and has just a message in the notification bar with no empty gap...
And then I have a question: what is the + symbol standing for when I pull the last app away from the screenside?

Well, thanks for suggestions
1. Planned for next release
2. Why not, I try to develop a different switcher compared to the stock one, but I'll think about it
3. Looks like you really like the stock switcher, don't you ?
4. That's a good request, but not an easy one... I'm definitely going to look into it
5. Consider it done for next release
And finally, the plus symbol let the user know he can swipe back to show other apps. Is it too much for you?

Well, I use swipe home button to get into stock switcher, that makes it better and faster than every other switcher out there. But your app look very cool and promising. And, what lacks the stock switcher, it's customisable. Yet it is still simple and elegant.
There are two reasons why I suggested to chance the button positions: first, I think that it would look more symmetric, and second is that they would be easier to reach. Especially on my note 3^^
Oh and I found a bug: when I re-enable the notification icon, the app crashes.
My device is btw SM-N9005 (international note 3 with snapdragon 800) running on android 4.4.2 kitkat samsung firmware (leak), cf-rooted and xposed framework installed.

This is absolutely right.
I think I can make only one simple button where you pointed out (the "close all" button), and leave the settings in the menu key, in a more android-way.
It's the first time I see this bug. It happens every time? I hope I will get a crash report from the Google developer console.

I can try to send a bug report.
Maybe you could do it (again like in stock switcher, lol) that you make a row of three buttons under the the switcher (in the position I pointed at on the screen) : task manager, settings, clear button.
I like it that you always can reach the settings from the switcher itself.
I also like the plus symbol, maybe you could make an option to enable/disable it, and also different themes (like only the plus symbol without the stuff around or the color or something like that) I already guessed that it stands for the gesture, but I wanted to be sure.
And what I really love is the animation of the clear button , it's really cool!

I have two ideas that maybe go too far:
First one: support of xhalofloatingwindow; that could be in different ways
1. Longpress on a thumbnail could open a menu like this:
2. The smart-slider option could open apps in xhalo windows.
The second one is even crazier;
First, take a look at this video:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/997cyp7ed4hn13d/SCR_20140115_032447.mp4
Now I imagine that when you do the gesture from the smart slider and then drag it up/down it could change between the running (and only the running) apps like in the video;
I made a quick drawing how it could look like (of course not so ugly xD)
Gesendet von meinem SM-N9005 mit Tapatalk
Thanks for the awesome app switcher! :good:
I have one thing that bothers me, and prevents me from using it as my default switcher. I wish that when I don't have any apps open it would show an empty switcher. Sometimes it can be hard to differentiate between whats gray and whats not, and I like to have it this way just in case a friend or someone else is using the phone so they can't see my recently "closed" apps. I see from other post that you are working on some upcoming features in new releases , so just wondering if this is something that can be done.
Thanks
But other than that GREAT WORK. KEEP IT UP!!!!
Cool app. I got this basically for the swipe to switch to the previous app function but the RAM usage is too much. Is there a way to maybe have option not to use as a full task switcher but to only be used to switch back to the previous app only.
Nice idea! Well done!
How about other translations? I can do the German one

Just curious why you'd remove HTC TV? Without it, you have no method of using the IR blaster, and free apps that work as well as it does are tough to find...legitimately.

Removing the Sense TV app does not kill the IR blaster... The Play store has HTC TV app... Just install it.

Rom is loaded.. getting ready to start work but I'll be all over it..
Can't wait to flash! Running Viper, but I usually switch ROMs every day through backups to keep things interesting.

Why does everyone remove the Verizon apps?! Without them what's going to slow down my phone??!!!! And as jbarcus commented, yeah, this download is going SLOW...dev-host must be getting hammered or something, and the mirror doesn't work (public/everyone wasn't given access to the mirror location apparently).
Also, coming from the Galaxy Nexus, I'm used to also having to flash gapps for nearly every ROM. I've noticed that's not a requirement on any of the M8 ROM's (at least yet), is there a reason for that? I understand they're baked into the ROM, I mean why are they able to be included in these ROM's, but not in the majority of ROM's for other devices like the GNex? (Sorry to ask an off-topic question, feel free to ignore if nobody wants to answer.)
Only thing I've noticed is the CPU seems to be locked at 2.2GHz.. I know it's not much but I think it should be running at 2.5GHz.. .

Carrier specific skin roms typically don't need gapps as they include everything they need. This includes sense TouchWiz blur etc. Aosp roms across all devices do need gapps though.

Reason for removing verizon apps because you can find them in the play store. Most Verizon apps are useless too, for example Verizon navigator is a wannabe Google maps and VN charges when GMaps is free.
As for gapps being included in sense Roms and not AOSP Roms. http://m.androidcentral.com/google-discusses-cease-desist-order-cyanogenmod

The stock speed for the US versions is 2.3GHz (2.265GHz rounded up to 2.3GHz).
The AnandTech review puts it well "In most parts of the world the M8 will ship with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801. In Asia/China however we’ll see the 2.5GHz MSM8974AC v3 SKU instead."

The VZW apps comment was a joke, but thanks for answering anyway.
