Although I've already "made my peace" with many of those here who had a gripe with me, I'd like to, once again, thank the people here who were actually helpful, were willing to accept my apology and, most importantly, the developers who are always hard at work trying to make the GS4G the best that it can be. The recent Gingerbread ROMs have really brought new life to this phone and addressed many of my initial complaints and disappointment.
That being said, (and much to the delight of several of you here who just can't seem to move past things, even after my apologies and attempts to reconcile) I still can't see myself keeping this phone. There's just not enough RAM, app storage space, etc. and, being a father of 8 month old twins, I need a decent camera ready at all times. I think we can all agree that the camera on this thing is about as weak as it gets these days.
So I ordered an HTC Sensation which should be here in a week. I guess I'll be bothering the guys over in those forums soon enough.

I'm seeing a trade going to happen soon! meet half way guys!.. I'm in SFV myself!
So after much debating I decided to finally get rid of my g2x since I've been using the sensation more and more. I was planning on selling it about a week ago but the vibration motor died out on me. Today I finally received my replacement from tmobile and to my big surprise the one I got has no light bleeding at all!! So I figured I would post it here right away before posting it on ebay seeing as pretty much everyone has been complaining about the issue.
I will upload some pictures later since im using the phone app right now. I still have the original box and everything that came with it plus two cases that ill throw in there for free.

Yeah I would pay $200-250 for an extra G2x but no more really. It would be tempting at that price
I've been thinking about getting a backup one for a while now. *hint hint*
I bought mine on eBay for $255 plus shipping in excellent condition. The ones that were in mint condition only went for slightly (maybe $20) more. $300 would be the ultimate top end if you got super lucky.
I pretty much said $320 for negotiation purposes lol. Probably will end up going for around $300

Well I saw his post and figured I had two options make my own which would still be a form of hijacking...his then mine and if I undercut in mine I'd be screwing him... Or just post in his let him know my intent is to not compete but be equal so that they can both go. Thought it was the more mature approach. However it's always easy to see maturity doesn't go far on xda.

I honestly don't mind lol if people think you're giving them a better deal then that's their opinion and there's nothing I can do about it. Also if mine doesn't sell over here it'll sell on ebay or craigslist so I'm really not that worried about it

As the header of the thread says, I am selling my Captivate for cheap. I switched to an unlimited family plan with T Mobile, so cheap I am saving money and I no longer use my Captivate. It seems like such a waste to have it sitting in a drawer unused. I also have 2 extra batteries with an external wall charger, the Samsung wall adapter with the usb cable that came with the phone and It works. I also have a nice jig from mobiletechvideos.com, never needed it though as it's always had working button combos. It's a 1007 batch. Anyone interested pm me.

Hey guys. I'm probably not a well known user, but I wanted to say that I'm moving on to the galaxy nexus.
I found a good deal here in Mississauga for only 400 for an unlocked HSPA+ version. I just got it today at noon and I've gotten pretty impressed with the speed, smoothness and stability of this phone. The screen is also HD and has better colors. The camera actually looks a bit better although its only 5 mp. I'm pretty happy with my choice.
Again, I'm not leaving the g2x community, I'm just using the gnex as my main phone now. On the other hand, I can't wait for the g2x to get a fully working ICS port.
Again, I hope the best for the fate of the g2x. I'll be there to witness and experience evey moment. I hope you had a good time reading this. Have a good day/night.

I think he meant taxes included, Ontario tax is 13%. Add that to 349.it's around 400 $ mark.

Yeah, taxes were included and the phone was brand new. The box was unopened and the plastic covers were on the screen and on the back. The sticker was on the box and it didn't look like it had been tampered with. Everything was in the box and it was wrapped in a thick plastic with Samsung branding. There were no scratches or marks so the phone was probably brand new.
Oh, and my carrier is Wind.

I have also bought a Galaxy Nexus and a Galaxy S II X, and one of them will replace my WIND branded P999DW. Thus my P999DW will be for sale very soon now.
I haven't received my GN yet as it is still in the US, but so far the S II X seems very nice.
WIND has no updates and the official OS is 2.2 still. It is sad as a flag ship model costing $445. when I bought it 11 months ago.

After a few PM's with several other members I thought I'd post how this works...
I simply forward your phone number and name to someone who works in Three's direct sales department based in Glasgow. They'll contact you at a specified time and discuss the phone, the plan and the offer with you. It is up to you whether you want to place your order right there and then or place the order at another time. The order must be placed over the phone however in order to qualify for the deal as this is the only way they can add the credit and minutes to the account.

Not personally no, but I've heard from others that it works pretty well
Just a heads up guys, from 26th April onwards, there will be a £49 upfront cost for the phone if you buy it online or phone into inbound sales.
Of course I can get this waived for you even after this date :good: Also, this is a new contract and not an upgrade to your existing contract for those that are interested.

You wouldn't get the extra minutes and TCB may take a while to track. The credit can be applied immediately to the account by ordering directly from Three via myself. An additional £30 credit can also be added to a friend or family Three account if you have their phone number too.
I'm always suspicious of posts like this - how do we know that the 'friend' who works for Three isn't the OP.
