[Q] Endymion V3.1 Rom screen grab - HTC Desire S

Hi
does anyone know if this rom has a screen grab capability? or Does the HTC sense over ride the android capability again?

Settings >> RcMix3D Tweaks >> Misc Options
Select the check box Enable Screen Snapshot.
A screen snapshot is taken when you press the Power button + Home.

thanks mate i'll give that a go.
Thanks

Thanks very much for that - at least someone keeps us Aussies in mind
Working great! Awesome work mate! :good:
Just need to hopefully get APM and 3 dot menu button mod working :cyclops:
Looking good, if you need any help with the rom, feel free to hit me up.
A few standard build.prop tweaks that should be useful (taken from and used in most custom ROMs):
ro.da1.enable=false (these next two disable HTC Linkify)
ro.da1.method=false
persist.adb.notify=0 (remove USB debugging icon from statusbar)
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=280 (improve frame rate and touch response)
debug.performance.tuning=1 (improve touch response)
video.accelerate.hw=1 (video acceleration)
debug.composition.type=gpu (GPU graphics rendering)
ro.kernel.android.checkjni=0 (disable error checking)
Glad to see you guys getting some love.
Nice work OP
I used THIS to remove the 3 dot menu button, but to get long press to work for multitasking button, looks like framework file needs edited, which is likely over my head.
Excellent mate!! Just about to flash now.
Does anyone have the md5 hash for this file?
Just making sure I got a good download
In case anyone is wondering this is what wiper app is for as far as I can see : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1593200
Thanks guys!
I'm on a steep learning curve atm, as is my first attempt in developing/mod after I started reading up about 2 weeks ago.
So all these request may need to be produced by someone more experienced or you have to wait a little so I can work things out!
Nice work radavs. Thanks mate!

MD5 update in OP
and I made a typo as it was the Wiper.apk not app that was FCing which is a totally different thing, I think it has to do with multitasking (number of apps running in the back ground)

Just an FYI I had to manually add these apn settings after flash to get foxtel etc working:
To create Telstra Internet setting follow these steps:
Tap on Apps icon at bottom center of the screen
Tap on Settings
The device displays Settings screen
Tap on Mobile network
Tap on Access Point Names
Tap on Menu icon at top right of the screen
In the popup menu, select New APN
The device displays Edit access point screen
Enter the following values:
a. Name: Telstra Internet
b. APN: Telstra.wap
c. Proxy: 010.001.001.181
d. Port: 80
e. APN type: default
Leave other fields unchanged
Tap on Menu
In the popup menu, select Save
Select the radio button beside the newly created Telstra Internet setting
To create Telstra MMS setting follow these steps:
Tap on Apps icon at bottom center of the screen
Tap on Settings
The device displays Settings screen
Tap on Mobile network
Tap on Access Point Names
Tap on Menu icon at top right of the screen
In the popup menu, select New APN
The device displays Edit access point screen
Enter the following values:
a. Name: Telstra MMS
b. APN: Telstra.mms
c. MMSC: http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002
d. MMS proxy: 010.001.001.180
e. MMS port: 80
f. APN type: mms
Leave other fields unchanged

In the popup menu, select Save
ROM has been great. Solid, stable and feels good to be back with an Aussie based ROM with no ATT garbage :good:

Just confirming these tweaks do seem to make a noticeable difference and are worth adding to the bottom of your build.prop.

Yea, seems the proxies are missing from default. No biggie unless you rely on them for foxtel etc.
That is very strange, I haven't changed anything other than Deodex apk's, added root with SuperSU, added Busy box, the rest is from standard Telstra RUU.

Maybe the proxies are missing from stock from the store? Can't remember if mine had them.

I'm hoping to get rich from this! :silly:
Not needed atm, I enjoy the challenge while the the other half is on a cruise around Vanuatu/Noumea!
Once she gets back I don't that I will have time!
Quick feedback so far:
This rom is great, very quick and once I removed the apps I didn't need I couldn't be happier
Can't wait to be able to overclock this beast!
Thanks again for all your hard work.
Just one quick question - is it worth flashing the gsm patch on this? We can already turn off 4g in phone settings....
We don't need the gsm patch, that is only for the at&t Rom.
Us on Telstra are far better off with this Rom. We just need to help get other other nice stuff incorporated.

Yep, no GSM patch needed as we have no ATT crap :cyclops:
Extended Quick Settings mod works fine, as does the 3 dot menu button mod I linked to earlier. Just need Advanced Power Menu.

I'm anxious to try this one. Thank you for your efforts.
Are we waiting for it to be cooked, or is it ready and we are waiting for it to upload? Just curious.
Version 0.1 is already cooked and I have been testing it without much problems.
I have been trying to upload it but my broadband connection has failed for the last 3 days so haven't been able to do so.
Version 0.2 is also cooked with a few changes which I am flashing as of now. Will upload version 0.2 skipping 0.1 as soon as my broadband connection restores!

That's great news, and thank you for the update! Looking forward to it.
when you will upload ur rom.......?
I don't think it's fake. Sometimes, it takes longer than you expect, especially if your network is not so great.
No people, its not fake!
I still don't have my internet connection back at home (this is India!), otherwise it would be uploaded by now.
I have been testing the ROM myself for a while now and it's really stable.
The only problem seems to be with Counter app, which does not record data properly.
Anyways, I'm gonna upload this version only very soon so hang in there guys!
where r u in India ?
Sent from my Dell Streak using xda app-developers app
Any luck?
Do they not have electricity in India or what?
I'm in Pune.
However, good news, I am uploading to SkyDrive right now. 50/240 MB done!!!
Let's hope it does not disconnect!
Will upload version 0.2 very soon...
stay tuned!

No, they use charcoal! Fortunately, my computer runs on hot coal, so I'm fine for now! LOL
Good News!
Download Link for version 0.2 now available!
I flashed your ROM and everything seems to be working well. Awesome work.
just joking great job Novin
Search key setting doesn't work for me. Does anybody meet it?
I noticed the 8779 version is out here. Any chance of that becoming the new base? And maybe include the USB Video Out drivers?
EDIT: Looks like they went back to 8773 for stability... I guess you already have it right.
Can't download
Hi,
I am not able to download v0.2 from Skydrive.
The download never starts.
Can you check if the upload is correct?
Thanks
Nilesh

4-in-1 reboot menu

So, I've installed the stock t-mobile rooted limited edition for the 2.35 version, however, it doesn't include the 4-in-1 reboot menu. Maybe I just don't know what the official name for the reboot menu is, but I can't find anything (I search a lot and 99% of the time, find what I'm looking for). Any insight on how to enable the 4-1 reboot menu easily?

[Help] NavarBar/Onscreen Keys for Samsung S7 8.0 Oreo (not edge)

Hi Guys,
This is my first post & gone through the search options to see if existing thread helps! But, no luck.
A car ran over my phone(Samsung S7) and now physical back & recent app buttons are not working. So, I've decided to use softkeys. I didn't root my phone, just installed the TWRP 3.1.0 to modify the build prop.
I've tried to set qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 at the end of build.prop file and changed the permissions to "chmod 644" and all. But, still it' s not showing up on the main screen.
I see one option in Settings > Advanced features > One Hand Mode > " Show keys on Screen" . It is working only when we resize the screen as in the below attachment, but not for full screen.
Can someone please help me to have Stock ROM on screen keys or modify "Home button" double click or Tripple Click options to allow "BACK" option.
Thanks & Sorry for the lengthy thread.
Hi,your device is Korea edition?
