Why? GTAIII 10th aniv version works flawlessly without using chainfire? Its not tegra2 only...
I have a rooted inspire with cm nightly latest without chainfire and it works well but lags every other minute.
Anyone got it working smoothly? If so what settings did you use?

How were you all able to get GTA 3 on your Inspires? It's not available for me on the market. I'm running Er3bus XL 2.1.

I dont no what to say man. I played it for like an hour today. No lag at all. I'm not using chainfire tho. No need to. It just installed and played for me.
what rom are you guys using? cause its not coming up in the market
The game also lag for me.
It's playable, but it's very unpleasant...
My DHD is OC to 1,2 ghz, leedroid kernel 4.0, RCMIX 3D runny 4.0.
Maybe the problem is my rom? Wich one guys do you use?
Data download took a long time since it wouldn't go over 50KB/s
EDIT/update: Runs well enough on android revolution hd rom 6.3, overclocked at just 1.15; Some times it gets slow(just a tiny bit), but I bet it'll run even better overclocked a little more.

Yes works awesome, so nice not having to jump through a bunch of hoops to watch really crappy video. I'm running Team Ninja's latest with LorDModUE V6.2 BFS kernel. Runs awesome, no fixes and the lag that
I have seen is very minimal, I mean I'm on wifi but three computers running games and my directv using up some bandwidth and two phones using up bandwidth lol and like I said I got little lag , with all that duh lol , I mean almost unnoticeable lag.
Thanks for this . I quit using netflix on my inspire cause to me it just wasn't worth the time to tweak to watch crap. Now I finally get to watch the Camelot tv series

Everyone's processor will be able to handle different overclock settings. Some will run at 2.0 all day every day with no problem, some will reboot every 5 minutes at 1.2. Find what's best for you and go with it.
Everyone is running the ROM that they found worked best for them. This is a development forum and the developers have all put hundreds/thousands of hours into their ROMs and all shine in their own light. What works best for you may not work best for others, and being that it's a development forum, there will always be bugs/quirks to be worked out. That said, I recommend flashing every single ROM on this forum, testing them out for a few days, and finding what's best for you.

I'm on phoenix blood and based on http://www.inspiredgeek.com/2011/11...rison-to-samsung-galaxy-sii-s2-and-iphone-4s/ my browsermark speed (screen attached) is next to top Galaxy Nexus. I did restore my nandroid weapon and tsugi and they are half slower! Do we have hardware acceleration in browser now?

So, what you're saying is, with ICS our phone will be able to compete with the G Nex? Seems that way, seeing how out dated the Gnex's GPU is.

I just ran the test and i got 88458. I saw a post earlier about a Hardware Acceleration Mod by pasting two files into the system lib folder but i made my stock browser not able to work with PhoenixBlood V1.7 and Trinity Kernel. Any suggestions?
---------- Post added at 02:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:19 PM ----------
Nevermind, I just got this 126011 with PhoenixBlood v1.7 with Faux 1.55 GHz overclock instead of trinity.
Just got 130625 on phoenix blood setcpu between 1100 and 1500
Does overclocking lead to reduced battery life?

I knew it wasn't a game. But unless this is a teaser that Epic is working on an Android game (different from Infinity Blade, which Epic has stated will remain iOS exclusive), this seems like a bad joke: "We won't give you a game, but you can have this tech demo/benchmark app.

I have recently flashed viper and it is fantastic from pretty much every aspect except I get lags ask the time. Drives me nuts.
I was wondering what your experiences are with alternatives.
I know everyone will say ditch sense, hell I am close having just come from 4.2.2 but I keep going back to sense but eventually flashing away due to the lagging.
Any insight would be fantastic

I am running 3.2.6 with elemental 5.4 on default settings. With my normal usage I can get 2 days out of battery with no lags at all. Check the apps that you are using and give it a couple of days to settle in. I like the Avatar Rom wich also gets good battery life but it is still W.I.P.

I've never had any luck with Elemental or Bulletproof Kernels on my device. Always laggy starting up from sleep.
I tried everything - increased voltage, min CPU, minfree settings etc. and still laggy.
Must be my device as many people have great results - just not me (and a few others I've seen post).
For some reason stock outperforms custom kernels on my device everytime.
I'm running HatkaXL at the moment with stock kernel and it runs great.
