just use FPSE, make sure you download the bin too, and go. you'll need to go to audio and set SPU sync on otherwise the sound cuts out at cinematics and a couple other sound bytes don't play for some reason.
frame rate is silky smooth otherwise. i've also tested ff8 and ff9 just fine as well.

yeah i did but its not loading where did u get your bios and ff7 file
im running catyrom right now u think thats the problem?
where is it getting stuck? it seems like you're able to see the browser to select the ISO file. but then you get a black screen? try checking if HLE mode and fast booting is disabled. country should be USA by default. I got my bios by just googling it. Its the same bios file used across PC based emulators as well.
My ff7 is just from a torrent, all 4 cds.
i took the time to flash to caty double check, its working fine here. try disabling the above first and see if its ok

Are you sure it is the Beta and not the Alpha, which is reported to only work if your IMEI is tied to the app itself, thus making it so the alpha testers couldn't leak it.
Tried this on my Eris.. It opens up just fine. But it doesn't connect to any sites D:
I just installed it like a normal app. It seems slow, doesn't have any form of flash (should have never expected that) no pinch to zoom, not even double tap. It's not exactly worth the time - I will just stick with the default Desire browser. I see why it was such a closed beta, normal people would not enjoy this browsing experience.

Just read on Engadget that a Nintendo64 emulator has finally been released for Android!
Its called N64oid and is $5.99 on the market, but worth every penny. Still a little laggy with some games, but pretty good. Played Mario Kart64 with no issues, but will probably struggle with more CPU intensive games such as Goldeneye.

I really believe in the developer especially having bought Snesoid from him and played it religiously like everyday! Games were really laggy at first but the first update made super mario 64 work SMOOTH
Its time like this that I wish I had the Motorola Zoom. This would be so awesome to play on that.

Get wiimote from the market, it allows you to use your wii remote as the controller i dont think it works with sense though
Mario 64 here i come..yes!!
Just tested it out...with mario kart 64 and super mario 64.
list of problems i have:
sound is very laggy(i figured this one)
Mario kart froze on me 3 times in a row before it fully worked(but then it ran pretty good)
Super Mario 64 sound was ok and ran right out the gate.
Great work for the first release!

You download the app via google/market, install, the you just search [insert N64 game] rom, then put the zip file on your sdcard, open the app, find it, and start playing.

Have you gotten it to work? I downloaded it, and shows it as connected in the app, but when I enable other inputs [ie bluetooth gamepad ] in the N64 emulatore, it doesn't work.
Are you using a sense rom, because I don't believe it will work with sense?

No, I'm on AOSP [CM7] When I'm in the wiimote app, I can see it confirming when I press B, 1,2, home ect, as the keys on the screen light up and its connected successfully. Just when I try to use it in the game, it doesn't work.
So I take it this emulator runs relatively well on our evo?

Yeah it works pretty well. Still a little laggy here and there, and won't play some games at all. But other than that, its pretty sweet.

Haha I meant like how well, I know how to run them I just meant I've been running psx emulators for a while with only moderate success and since n64 is running at 64 bit I was wondering how well it ran. Thank you though, that was very considerate!

No wont even boot up I tired several different roms from different sites all don't work...
One of them did cause the screen to flip but the on screen controls never showed up and then it just goes back to the rom list.
I've followed all the Psx4droid tutorials and have used it on my other android devices and it works fine, but the same psx images and same version of psx4droid don't load on this phone. I'm using the same bios that works on my other devices. Any get this working?
I have it but wasn't sure how to use it so I haven't yet

Fpse has great support for it, couldn't get psx4droid working at all but seems like fpse is better anyway. I used fpse on my htc hd2 before I put android on it and it worked great on it too. Does n64oid work well on the g2x?

It's glorious! I do wish I had the version of psx4droid that I had on my nexus back in the day since it didn't have sound delay.
The latest beta on zodttd's site has around a 1 second sound delay.
aww bummer. im gonna need fei's combos to match the sound. lol ill post if i can find one without the delay.
Anyone know a good website to get psx roms I tried the usual roms sites and it's always the wrong file type like a .7z when I need a .bin .img or .iso type.

I found a download of v1.7, but I can't get my iso to load up on it. I think I have a bad iso.
I thought someone posted a link to psx4droid that worked on the G2x?

I had it working on the new 3.0.7 beta version.
I haven't been able to get the older version 1.7 to work.
ok so i got my copy of xenogears and i found an older copy of psx4droid 1.7.it plays but goes from 60 fps to around 45-50 while doing anything remotely graphics heavy. i.e rotating screen while running on world map. im gonna try 3.0.5 or any other version to see if its better.
edit: correction version 1.1.2
just tried 3.0.5. doesnt even load at all.

What about sound lag on 1.7? Was it there?
ok so after trying a bunch of different versions of psx4droid i couldnt get any to work however I did come accross one that works almost flawlessly!! give FPse a try. ill post a vid in a sec of it running. my bad in advance for the shaky/crappy camera.

Go into Manage applications click it
Then CLEAR DATA.
You will have to login, but there must be a bug, thats the only way ive been able to get back in.
A great game, perfect for the Note!
No issues with black screen on ics ROM. Recently went back to gingerbread and that's when I started getting goalscorers and have to force close.

I'm on gingerbread 2.3.6 XXLB1, with Franco Kernel 9 + CriskeloROM.
I experience the same thing, only when I lost the internet connection. When it happen, I will just force close from task manager, and open again when I'm back on the internet.
Other than that, everything is just fine, run smooth, with no problem.
Love the game.

Yeah that would great if it worked for me lol. Seems like the DL file is a bit small (61kb) but maybe im doing something wrong.

Did you try what was suggested here?
Sound file is .ogg file in system/etc/
file name is PowerOn.ogg ... rename it to .bak and put yours in....

All I did was take the folder from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13409912&postcount=6 the one called "ApertureScienceUpdateOGsound.zip" and never could get it to work with sound.
So I grabbed this guys one: http://explodonation.deviantart.com/art/Aperture-Science-Boot-Animation-for-Android-Slow-297837567 and it works fine, just no sound.
Still would be awesome if you could get the original working with sound though, or the second one with sound.
and as for resolution, I'm not sure? I have the skyrocket, so whatever it is xD The second link of the white one fits nicely on my screen.
