I flashed the LG 3.0 cam the same way I did while I was using Weapon 3.0 on Eaglesblood but I'm getting a force close screen.
Is there a way to correct this issue so that I can use the LG cam instead of the stock cam that comes with the rom?
Which eagle bloods latest cause I'm guessing you are on 2.3.7 which wont work.

What mt3g is saying is that phone cam won't work on cm7 period. It depends on LG libraries that aren't available except on a stock based Rom.

Never mind. I went back to the LG Cam thread and found what I was looking for. And It clearly stated it wont work on anything CM7 based which I forgot.

can a pro please advise me. im running weapon x 2.6 with lg cam 3.0 and dsp for the bass but it doesn't meet all my needs i really want to be able to overclock. ive tried a few but they all seem to have a few problems. mostly no cam 3.0 i need that for my girls its so cool best options. im looking for a ROM that's light fast working WiFi and data able to overclock lg cam 3.0 dsp no bloat except for the market and would love 2.3.5 or better thank you

how did you get DSP Manager on I have not been able to get it to install on my g2x running weapon 2.6

i updated my phone to 2.3.3 and its camera is totally gone ...now am updated to 4.0.4 still it was not like when i bought my phone ...if anyone has a solution please share..thanks!
You may want to try the new Baseband and 2.3.4. They did some work on the camera and seems to be a bit better. The ISC build's do not have the Video drivers for the camera to function fully.

If on cm7 flash the LG camera modified for cm7, and if on stock the flash the regular LG camera. It's way better than the stock camera.

Theres an LG Cam modified for CM7? I used to love LG Cam that was modified for stock 2.3.3, but now that im on CM7.2 i didnt know there was an LG Cam modified for it. Do you have a link?

Does the Front camera work with it for skype and such? I know when I used the LG cam for 2.3.3 the front cam did not work correctly
I never use the front camera. You can always nandroid, flash, test, then nandroid back if it doesn't work.

There are others as well, and I can't remember if this is the one I am using. I can't find the thread that had several options for CM7 as well as 2.3.4. You'll need to flash it through CWM..
So I bought a tablet and am going to be using it for most things.Android and can let my G2x go back to being a full fledged phone. I really miss being able to use Bluetooth.
So for the ROM I need BT calling to work as well as WIfi Calling
I don't want to go as far as stock, possibly rooted stock, Was wondering what non-CM ROM you would choose any why? I've always used CM ROMs. Not sure what to use now.

My guess is, that you flashed to the latest Baseband. You could always revert back to the Jul 15, 2011 Baseband via the KDZ method. I have found that the CM GB ROM's are more polished and feature-rich than any of the stock ROMS that exist.
If going back to Stock is your only recourse, I believe there are 2 modified Stock ROM's based on the new Baseband that you will want to take a look at. One is by KWES and the other is by BURU (I believe). I am most positive KWES has one out there though. Have a look in the DEV section and make sure you're looking for 2.3.4 ROM's. As far as Kernels for said ROM's, I think you're looking at using stock or some of FAUX's early .9 kernels (v0.13 I believe).

Yeah pretty much what he said. The most stable and reliable would be any modded stock ROM by kwes or myself.
I am getting ready to flash them today. Just picking out correct kernel's.
Ill try both and see what i live.

Running buru now. I'll run it for a 48hr test drive, than kewes and make a pick.
I just don't wanna mess with the entire kdz to flash to a lower BB to run CM7 with BT, something tells me I'm gonna miss CM7 in the long run. lol

Hah I know what you mean .
I would suggest to also stick with stock kernel if you sun into any problems. They actually did a decent job on it.
Pretty pleased so far. With ADW launcher and Magic Locker I've gained into ths stock ROM what I used most in CM7. Apps handle a lot of those things for me. SD Booster and Swapper as well.
I am using faux 014b2 kernel with your ROM buru. Simply fast. Happy so far. Thank you!

Hello, I'm interested in modding my G2X but there seems to be so many choices that I'm unsure of which one to use. I want something that's completely stable, I can't really afford to have my phone break permanently or constantly crash. Also will the Google play store still work with these mods? Hellfire phoenix 2.3.7 with the patched stock camera for cm7. I have recently switched to this and really like it! Plus there is a new update coming soon for the phoenix.

Alright thank you, I was leaning towards that anyways. Is there a specific guide out there that would show me exactly how to go from stock 2.3.4 to Hellfire Phoenix 2.3.7?
I would say go with eglesblood 2.3.7 along with the 3.0 kernel for gb. I say this because more more stock then hellfire and generally has less force closes
