Hey guys really really need help ...i am lookin for the original O2 mini black boot splash...Plzz help guys

Wandered around the ftp, but I guess it has been really cleaned up :-( can't find anything back which waspresent some months ago.
Have you tried one of the O2 shipped roms?

It's in the nk.nbf which can be converted in a nb1 with nbfdec. But the easy way will be flashing to your device :-(
Try experiment with nbfdec & bal666 tool, designed to edit the ext-rom part of a rom-dump. Maybe you can find the image in the shipped-rom.

Me too, if you got a copy of the image, from anywhere, it's really simple to put it on your device with, indeed, a cab file.
But first you need the image.
Do you have the cab from the sticky?

editing android XML files

hi everyone .... i want to edit the .xml files in android .... is there any efficient or reliable way by which the editing is possible.... plz help me ....

What kind of files do you want to edit? There are a lot of good tools in the Eclipse Android plugin.

please post in general section....
if u r talking about the xml in framework or apps u need to decompile first...
using search option is the best way to do it...

Thanx dude i want to edit apk's like framework-res.apk, TW launcher30.......... Etc. If know how to edit or decompiling these apk's and again recompiling plz plz tell me or post d link..... Thanx again

I think apktool is what u should look for, but there is even more, just use search function and Google can help as well

You can use Apk Manager or Autoapktool for easier compile/decompile.
Dont use the development section for questions! Use the general section instead!

Is that only if you want to work with the xmls within apks?
What if you want to modify the xml in your system files?
Tried File Expert and aShell but they can't open the xml file.

What they can do?

every APK needs to be decompiled before XML editing with a unix conform editor (notepad++ e.g. for windows)
after having edited the xml, just recompile it
a very good tool (with guide) is found here
Read the instructions carefully and have fun.

before you begin, you must decompile. you can use apktool . if done you can edit with notepad++ or import existing code on adt.
and recompile

How to make Home Screen customs happen?

i got a sg4 and i want the best out of it, the problem is i don't know how to work UCCW and to put the files i need in it to that UZIP folder

Hey i have decompiled succefully an apk,i've edited it a bit(it was already modded and i've added something)but i have problems recompiling it. i have searched on internet a lot of things,i have all the requiments but still i can't recompile it so can someone compile it for me? I will send you the link when ill'upload the files
PS:i have windows 10 x64 may the problem is here
Ps2:it is a 4.1 tw systemui.apk
I'll not try to fix the problem i want only someone that can compile it
