I figured I should post it here as well as most Inspire users dont like to venture from the Inspire forum.

Very true. I made the leap and I came out unscathed. I think. Good to see it here though. Great rom for everyone to use.

JSL's Undervolt script Added to the Mod List:
- Mild to Moderate undervolt
- Implements a smoother VDD curve (closer increment of voltage per CPU frequency step).
Highly recommend using it. I've been testing it out for several day's (before I share it with everyone) and the results are better than expected.
Do not OC the cpu, as it will cause your device to lock up if going above the stock speed while using this undervoltage script (same goes for using Killersloth's scripts). Future revisions will have modified voltages for higher frequencies.
Installing the script will remove the modified Killersloth undervolt scripts (if one is in use).

i know you add lyaputa's patch, but how about the tinny audio issue sir? is the sound as clear as GB stock rom when establishing voice call?
thank you sir

I know of the 'tinny' squelch on voice calls that existed, and it was mainly because the soundimage files specific to our devices wasnt preasent. They're added and I've used files & values specific to our devices (PD9812000/14000) and I personally do not have the squelch you're reporting, and all I use is my rom. If you do have said squelch, let me know, and i'll look over the values yet again.
Also, Which PD981XXXX version of the device do you have (im assuming 9812000 because of the forum we're in)?

sorry, i don't know what 's PD981XXXX version, how can i get this infomation? i use inspire 4g with runnydroid 2.3.5 sense3.5 rom. the sound quality seems not so good compared to stock rom, it has some noisy when talking via voice call

Well, if you have an inspire (with 'At&t' on the back housing), its a PD9812000.
If you're basing your opinion on my rom from assumptions based on Runnydroid, you shouldnt. Thats not my rom, not even the same base.

12/12/2011: Fixed small issue within kernel (edited a bit too much) which broke ability for scripts to run properly. Also added proper cert's for Inspire's and Non branded NA DHD's (Telus versions)
Fixed version uploaded, md5 and filesize updated. Sorry for any inconvenience guys.

Great Rom. Serious best I have ran. Any way to get the radio I'm a pmd file ?

I'm already looking into it (once in a while after a flash, for me the will stay on). Mind you, after a hot restart or two they begin to work normally. Its a random and rare occurence when flashing it as a fresh rom.

Great ROM, been out of the game for awhile but loaded this and so far its running slick!!

Strange, I flashed this a couple days ago and I have had no problems, even the capacitive buttons work ok on my Inspire 4G .

Ghost errors are confusing. lol. (phantom light control issue above - not in the logcat. lol)
Also, if anyone is having issues with adobe reader, just uninstall it (by deleting the Apk in /system/app using the file explorer I included - root permissions and mount must be checked in the settings), and reinstall it off market. (next version will have it fixed)

Awesome work! Just flashed this this morning while I was at work. Appears to give me some good battery life. My only nitpick is, that on the next update could you possibly add a toggle for WiFi in the Quick Settings tab of the Notification Shade? That is only a minor nitpick. I totally love this ROM! Keep up the good work!

[ROM][6/5/2010] Ic3Rom v2.9 - Super Fast - AOSP Look - OC'd - JIT - LiveWallpapers

Hello, everyone. After a long few days of putting a rom together, I finally think I have a stable rom that is actually very nice and fast. It is based off Damage Control v2.08.1 and I also took the launcher.apk from MatrixROM and the rotary vanilla lockscreen. I will be posting screenshots soon and updating this thread and cleaning it up because it's been a long night. I just wanted to share so I could get some comments on it tomorrow morning.

Nah, Koni's a nice guy, and pretty straight-forward. I, on the other hand, am apparently a mean-spirited jackass and a sarcastic jerk (thanks Oscar, for showing me the errors of my ways )
Looks pretty good. I might check it out when you post your update. I have considering going vanilla. You just might be giving me the opportunity to do just that. Thanks for your hard work and contributing to the community.

Well, to start off, the ROM is well optimize, gotta say because is polished to the HTC Legend standards, there is no ASOP other than the Lock screen.
In my first boot, before the HTC Wizard, I got a Rosie FC, weird right cuz your ROM has no Rosie.apk on it, I was able to to boot and got to the dashboard when I notice Home was the default.
As you might know, a lot of Devs are implementing their ROMs not only to be stable, but more like a Custom ASOP+HTC joinned. I was hoping to see that in this one.
Why don't you try implementing the Android KB, the new Dialer - you can find that in the Vanilla ROM from Darch, and hopefully Gvoice will work.
Dont forget about protected Apps under the Market.apk
I hope this helps giving you new goals in your ROM
Thank you, I will be home later tonight and I will work on an update for this.
EDIT: I have no idea what is wrong with the Rosie.apk. I completly removed it. I've actually been trying to look into this.
Updated to v1.0. Hope everyone enjoys! Good Night!
ROM is good and stable...IMO since this has a aosp feel...go with or atleast include android stuff cause the sense stuff is WEAK...... just my .02 thank for the cool rom man
Mdawg112, can you post a zip for the AOSP looking white taskbar?
I thought 0.6 was pretty good, I've been flashing new roms like crazy lately and came across this one and I'm going to give 1.0 a try tonight. I'm looking for a stock android rom that is very fast.
Any chance you could get JIT working on this??
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=637419
Thanks for all of your contributions we need more stock android roms around here imo.
Well i'm updating as we speak right now. Adding more cool goodies. Cutting down to make it faster. It'll be up after i run some tests.
I'll try and work on the JIT. I don't know much about it.

Find Bulletproof 1.X in post #3!
2.X are based on the 2.08.401.1 LEAK base. These builds are made with the same love as the 1.X builds, but they are not a priority. They are for fun! Every feature I add to it will not be half assed, it will be done correctly and properly using the newest code and not using any old APKs or JAR files from older builds. It IS IS IS a debugging build from HTC, this is why it's not my #1 priority. I am updating my mod code to Sense 3.5 mainly for future releases.

[U]Notes[/U]
» This IS a dev debug build from HTC so I am not worried about doing everything hastily. It's fun to play with, not 100% yet.
» I never use old code for a new base. Other ROMs may have CRT and such, only because they're using older jars. That's not good. CRT is a lot more difficult this time around. It will come when I have some more time to hack at it (already spent a couple hours trying to get it to work =[)
» There is TONS of debugging output from the dev build. It may be placebo, but turning debugging off makes the phone seem a little faster to me. I've disabled it by default (on a fresh flash).

Install Instructions
Make a nandroid backup. Losing 10 minutes of your life is easier to cope with than losing a phone
Download, match MD5 tags, copy to SD card
Reboot into recovery
REQUIRED: format /cache (not wipe)
OPTIONAL: wipe/factory reset. I highly recommend doing this when coming from a different ROM, that said it's your choice. Please don't report bugs if you have not wiped.
Install ROM from zip.
Reboot, wait ~20m,

My Sharing Policy
If you would like to implement any of the feature I've added in my ROM (that I've created myself), all I ask is that you wait 7 days after I've released a feature and then you may add it. 7 days. After that, all I ask is you give proper credit to all developers. None of this falls under GPL, so to say the least, I think that is fair to ask.

About matching Hashes
Matching hashes is extremely important, especially with these large Sense ROMs. Basically, it confirms that you downloaded the exact same file I uploaded, without any corruption. You can check your hashes with a few ways. You can download the program called HashTab and it will check them. Or you can check them with ADB. You can run the following command to see the hash (it will take a second, your phone has to process a large file).
Code:
roman$ adb shell md5sum /sdcard/bulletproof_02.zip (or your file.zip)
[B]93c0f076256a75e5d871568e1f2e1736[/B] /sdcard/bulletproof_02.zip
As you can see, the hash returned does not match the hash I posted (053f2146b68618dd1fecaa71bddc0ac5) that means it either didn't copy on my phone correctly or the download was corrupt.

When the nightlies start (or kmobs makes his device tree public) I try and contribute what I can. I'm not the best with C or C++ (libs & kernel, basically what needs to be done), so that's not really my area. Maybe I'll try and learn though.
That said, when CM7 gets stable enough, I'll be bringing Trigger (my CM7 based ROMs) over to the Sensation. Until then it's Sense hacking .
It's really good to see some familiar devs over here on sensation. I can't wait for trigger on sensation, that was my favorite 2.2 ROM on Vibrant. Is your work hosted up on EDT as well?

V3.5 builds upon V3.4, with some updates and consolidating the proven stability of previous versions. It's been over 3 months since last update, and Endymion V3.4 is still one of the most used ROMs for the Desire S. V3.5 includes Endymion Control Centre, slightly modified from V3.4. In V3.5 I removed the Pdroid and Droidwall tabs, leavin to the user the choice of installing the standalone apps or not. It makes a cleaner interface.
Endymion Control Center was built by me from the ground up. The application is programed on top of the HTC opensense SDK, seamlessly integrating with other sense elements on the rom. The Control Center is installed by default, and it detects if the optional addons package was installed. If it was, the Theme Manager part will also work, if not, all other functionalities are still available to the user.
Control Center Functionalities:
Theme manager:
- Theme: Stock, IceHD, HoneHD or GoldRush
- Fonts: Stock, Roboto, Segeo, Ubuntu
- Bootanimations: Stock, Speedo, Quietly Rooted, Pyral, Liquid Honeycomb, Htc Bkack, Flying Vs
All RCTeam tweaks
New Endy tweaks
- Change animations speed on the fly (with a slider)
- CPU Control: Control daemon controller, max an min frequencies for wake and sleep states, cpufreq governor, IO Scheduler, you name it. Taken from Reaper.
- AGPS Patcher: Apply/revert gps patches on the fly, taken from reaper. Credits to author on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1442032
- Turn on/off GPU rendering (just for kicks, but leave it on, seriously)
- Change scrolling smoothness (tradeoff with speed)
- Change V6 Supercharger profiles on the fly (default, aggressive and insane)
- Change Dalvik VM Heap size (32, 48 or 64Mb)
- Bass boost: choose to give a bass boost on beats
- Disable Rosie Spinning: turn on/off the fast "caroussel" spinning of Rosie
Screenshots
Regarding themes, changes are valid after reboot, and do not require any sort of flashing. You can still apply any UOT mods you want, and revert back to any included themes with the Theme manager. For the IceHD and HoneyHD themes, I suggest also choosing the matching skins, also included.
Since V3.1 the addons are installed to the sdcard, so there's minimal overhead to your data and system partitions.
Note that I did not create the bootanimations, neither the IceHD and HoneyHD themes! Credits go to the original authors: he_shteone64 for the themes, and the bootanimations (and lots more) you can find here.

Hall of fame
I want to thank each and everyone of you who donated, no matter how much. It's very appreciated! I don't know where some came from, so this goes to Endy and Reaper threads (I think Hyperion is mostly stale).

also was wondering about that
because previous 3.5Sense versions was unable to use on everyday basis, with new rosie much much smoother.
question - quadrant score with OC or stock CPU?
All stock.

Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA Premium App
Using the ROM now as we speak
Works great I really like the new HTC music feature to get album art, the data counter etc
Really nice work man
only small problem is fonts are too small
Although i will be going back to Hyperion for stable rock solid use
In HTC usic now, they seem to have got rid of SRS and Dolby now! and you can only use enhancer when you have headphones plugged in
EDIT: Beats do not work in the ROM. I get FC when i enable it
Bit of a silly move by HTC IMO
NEW FEATURES
I noticed HTC have integrated a sort of CPU app now !
You can manually choose whether you want best performance/power save/ecnomy etc. Nice touch for non-rooted users on the XL

might be re-sized from qHD, which could make text smaller
I really like the small fonts
Fits perfectly in my opinion.
I confirm that beats FCs if you disable it and then enable it through the notifications pulldown.
If you use the in-app menus it works fine. Takes some time to switch, though...
Thanks Oly!

Nope, i think the Runnymede is a WVGA device
But it has a 4.7" display... could that affect it?
I can really see how this Sense has elements of being between a tablt and a phnoe...
Some apps you can tell are designed to make use of the bigger screen. (i.e music, browser etc)

Yeah, my mistake. I'm sure it was announced as qHD tho
quite possibly. Android scales fine, but it could be due to Sense.
beats issue fix added to post #2
Ok,
In a time honored fashion of fixing early bugs, fix for beats issue is added to post #2. Now transition from sound enhancer to beats is instantaneous (and working well). It also no longer FCs when turned on/off from notification bar.
Thanks again Oly for pointing it out to me.
Cheers

great job! nice to see more support for the Desire S
Congratulations on your new release.
Just one question though... How is this ROM different from any other Sense 3.5 ROM currently available? I mean what are it's unique features justifying migrating to it?
Most of the Sense 3.5 ROMs currently available have some unique feature or the other, and the most popular ones include:
1. Endymion, of course
2. RcMix Runny 4
3. Virtuous Affinity
4. Proxuser's ports
5. the little guys
What unique, fresh offering does RunnyDroid bring to the table?
Please don't get me wrong, i'm not slamming your work or anything. I just want to know the USP of this ROM. That's all.
Thanks for the release!
great work
PVTeam Statusbar Style
Hi,
Is PVTeam Statusbar Style already included in version 2.0?
If not, will it work with it?
Thanks in advance.

Will do Oly.
Though i doubt it'll be faster than Endymion or anything. I mean Endy is already lag and stutter free, with performance at par with the actual Sensation XL!! I don't think there's any real scope for improvement in that sector on a Sense ROM, short of actual hardware modification!
As for eyeballing, almost all Sense 3.5 ports out there are very sommth, and comparable to each other. Don't know how else to assess speed. Quadrant has fallen out of grace with me. Nonsensical benchmark with no actual real world application, IMO.
The main reason i'm trying this out is because of the ho-hum about the best battery life among Sense 3.5 ROMs. Just wanted to test that aspect out.
I reckon it's gonna be a couple of days before i can do that assessment objectively.
Am running the ICS beta3R3 currently and enjoying it, so will have to give that up for a while for this one here. But i've explored most of what ICS has to offer upto this point, and apart from a newer UI and a much better battery drain during sleep (5-7 mA) i don't think it offers anything that makes GB look bad.
I still love running it because i like to look at the expression on my buddies' faces when they see a near-normal working ICS port on my phone (Especially the SGS2 honchos who are still at a partially functioning Alpha R7 on the ICS port)
Just got back from the E.R. Nand backup in progress... Will report after flashing.
P.S. : Check out the mods thread for this ROM. It's neat! Especially with individual mods that keep a small footprint and don't have to be forced on a user collectively. I quite like the idea.
Peace. Done rambling.

Ah! Nice! Cheers!
Yeah, yesterday, I went to a local store and literally used a Sensation XL and my phone side by side. They have the exact same software build number
I did some speed test and they were almost exactly at the same time! Even with the sensation at 1.5ghz, I couldn't tell the difference!
One thing that's different though, is the size lol.. all the icons/settings etc are massive!!
Haha
Wow, your making me more and more curious to try ICS!
I tried superkids alpha last week.. (with A LOT of broken things)
Now I'm quite curious to try this new build!!
I'll check out the mods on this page. Cheers !
