Which Countries should Support OnLive next? - General Questions and Answers

Ok - stupid question - only supported in US for now

Saw this on the onlive website:
"Can I use the OnLive Game Service outside of the US?
At this time, the full OnLive Game Service is enabled for the US and UK regions, so if you travel too far outside these regions, you'll eventually reach the point where you can't play games. As OnLive continues to open up international locations, you'll automatically connect to the closest data center and be able to play games almost anywhere."

For those of you who don't know, OnLive is a video game service that does all the computing on their servers and sends the compressed info to your tiny gaming peripheral so there is no need for a big gaming system.
It's already available in the Market...
Ive tried it and i must say I'm impressed. Not many games for touch devices but it's a start.

[Q] Xbox live titles with TRUE Xbox live Multi-player

I have not seen this come up in a while but I am wondering and I am sure others are.
Where are all the Xbox live Titles where I can play someone on xbox live ? This is a staple of the Xbox live brand but, on Microsoft's phone promoting it, but it does not have any titles that really support it.
I was reading about a Mutliplayer racing game that is coming out Pac-man rallly but, it's only over local Wi-FI (really ? A lost opportunity here)
Does anyone know if ANY Xbox live titles WITH true multi-player besudes some card or puzzle game (is there even those ?)
iOS has it and Android has it, where is WP7's ?
Any rumor of games coming up that will support it ?
I have seen some turn based MP but those are not XBOX live. I too am looking for real-time MP games.
I'm wondering why some Indy dev has not created this yet. Even a simple game on the Xbox 360 with a Windows Phone 7 version that any Xbox live member can play (gold on the 360, silver or gold on Windows Phone 7).
I could think of a few games that it could be used....like Z0mB1es (on the phone and the 360 version), just think of playing with your buddy on the 360 as a team. The game on the 360 is $0.99 and $2.99 on Windows Phone 7...
Like i said, missed opportunity here.....

I think i get your point wrong, so you were searching for games which are multiplayer where you can play with other xbox live user over the internet.
Sadly, gravity guy does not have this function. You can only play with your friends beside you.

[Q] Deus Ex: The Fall incompatible?

For Android became available Deus Ex: The Fall, but the Russian Google Play writes that this game is incompatible with the Nvidia shield...
I installed the game using apk found in the Internet and the game works. Joystick don't support, but this is not a problem on the Shield.
I posted a video on YouTube, so you can find it by typing Nvidia Shield Deus Ex The Fall (I can't post links).
Maybe this is the problem of accessibility of the game in Russia?
Actually a question - is the game available in your region?

That would be piracy and don't openly admit that here as XDA and most of its members don't support that. I know I don't work for free and neither should the developers who put in countless hours to provide for their families.

Unfortunately, you're wrong of me completely. I'm not a developer, but I understand that the work has to be paid. I would have bought this game, if I was allowed to buy it, but it is not available for nvidia shield. There's even no piracy as such, about which you say, because the game for nvidia shield is simply not for sale. That is why I ask all of you,- can you buy this game for Nvidia shield?
Unfortunately Square Enix confirmed my fears. Here is the answer to my letter:
We are sorry to inform the Deus Ex: The Fall is incompatible with your device.
Unfortunately, we don't have any information about the release of the game on Nvidia Shield date at the present time however we can advise to keep an eye regularly on our wbsites for any update.,
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
The Square Enix Support Centre team
Still waiting for updates...
You can buy the game legally at the play store from another android phone or pc. That is not piracy. you can copy the data and play with the apk.

I think that the main issue with that game is that it does not support gamepads. At the same time it has a lot of different places to touch on the screen so touch mapping is not easy. It can be played with keyboard and mouse better I think.

You are right, touch mapping is not easy. I passed the game using the built-in nvidia shield mapping tool. There were problems with the random by clicking on the different places to touch on the screen, but the game is completely passable and in my opinion play comfortable.
However, joystick support in the game need, I hope when it will add, the game will be available for shield.
nvdia's mapper is terrible its obviously made by someone who doesnt play 3D games, the look mode is still broken and is finicky. Im sure tincore mapper would work best, it has several movement options, i used it to map Cod strike team and Ravensword, both of which are quiet complicated to map.

Google Play Games freezes or won't login on some games but not others...

I have several sideloaded games that support Google Play Games online saving and achievements. Some games work fine while others don't. If it doesn't work it either gets stuck after you select the email for the Play Games account... OR it will look like it's loading fine and the game begins, but the option to log in is still the same.
Games that work fine:
Lara Croft GO
FRAMED
Geometry Dash
The Room 2
Dark Echo
Games that won't work:
Monument Valley
God of Light HD
Prune
Badlands
Republique
Leo's Fortune
Trials Frontier
It's a crap shoot of which games will work. It's not my connection because I can connect to uPlay in Trials Frontier, but the Play Games account will check for permission to login, get it granted and then not log in.
I don't know what the issue is but if someone could help me that would be great. I don't really care all that much about achievements, but those cloud saves are great because I travel globally for my job so I have two phones (LG v10 for work and Nexus 6p is my daily while I'm in the states). Those cloud saves (when they work) are extremely helpful because my work phone is the Verizon LG v10 so I can't backup app data without it being a huge pain in the ass since the Verizon version hasn't unlocked yet (and may not ever be).
I've thought about patching with Lucky Patcher, but I don't know what I'd patch.
Suggestions welcome....

Xperia Play Playstation apps

Hello,
I was browsing the web today and found that this forum still talks about the Xperia play to a limited degree. It being 2017 there is such limited information to be found on this topic.
I am a collector and I recently obtained an Xperia Play. The software is original and unmodified or rooted. I was looking into getting the original Playstation games that came out for the system and looking to make a back up of the files for preservation/study. Unfortunately I live in the U.S. and none of the games are available in my region.
In the UK store I have found WipEout and Jet Rider (Jet Moto in NTSC countries), but I cannot purchase them due to the region lock of the google play store.
Is there a easier way to obtain these, or will I have to use a VPN? If so what would be a decent VPN to use on an unmodified Xperia Play?
Would love to know an answer to this as well! Apparently Cool Borders 2 had an updated version of the emulator https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16746986&postcount=584
Can anyone still play their ps one games from uk?
