There's a press release that the G1 is available on the 30th January in Austria. The online newspaper derstandard made a review available at:

what I see is that they have a german UI... Is Cupcake ready?

That's Banshee Media Player... It works with the G1 out of the box already but its only for Mac OS X and Linux...

Windows Media player works with the G1 out of the box as well... in fact almost all media players do because it is a MTP device.

[Q] 2 columned live tile apps?

You know those large live tile apps like HTC Hub and Samsung Now? I wanna know if there are other apps thats like this. So far I'm using music artists as dividers on my start screen, it looks ok but of course I want to pin other apps with large live tiles.

There is only the pictures's hub and the MFG's Hub, calendar and I think that's about it.

Of course it's not! Being so specific your only bet would be to make it yourself.
However, this just came out and is as close as you can get otherwise.

Installed free app to control my phone functions. I found it good one to show life video and audio stream

yes, it became paid, I guess am lucky one
be honestly I would pay for it even so
