There's a press release that the G1 is available on the 30th January in Austria. The online newspaper derstandard made a review available at:

That's Banshee Media Player... It works with the G1 out of the box already but its only for Mac OS X and Linux...
Windows Media player works with the G1 out of the box as well... in fact almost all media players do because it is a MTP device.

just looked at MWg´s website (http://www.mwg.com), I didn´t know this company...but the info seems quite reliable as the company was founded by former O2 members and the phones are nice-looking as well.

headphones yes i know- but this is a remote for your media center on vista/windows 7 home premium .....
= musik, pictures and video play your computer and the wp7 are a cool visuall remote device
