MetrogenMod 7.1 FOR METROPCS FLASHED EVO 4G
This is a ROM i compiled from source.I have configured MMS to work upon first flash so no need for flashing an MMS fix.Everything works out of box!I also added the GPS fix into the ROM.i used boot manager to Test MetrogenMod 4.5 and it ran very nicely.

I recommend a FULL WIPE before flashing.if you choose not to wipe,dont report things messing up or acting funny.

Does this mean that if we flash this to the evo we don't have to do any other additional settings to get it to work on Metro? or do I still have to follow the guide to get it to work on MetroPCS
what exactly did u do to this because I flash to cricket and boost I might be able to use it or a version for cricket would be easy all u have to do different is have the login address be mycricket.com instead of metropcs

Only if your phone has had its data setup prior to flashing this. As long as your web is configured, this will work fully on first flash.

You still have to do the provisioning guide to set up the settings on the phone, but once you do, all this ROM will do will insure that everything works.

There is none, you can be on the 40 plan.

1. Download THIS
2. COPY file to sd card
3. YOU MUST MAKE A BACKUP IN CWM OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE DATA ISSUES.
4. FLASH Whitehawkx deodexed KD1 using ODIN, or if heimdall, flash the factoryfs.rfs.
5. Reboot, DON'T FLASH. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO Touchwiz launcher after first steps.
6. Reboot to recovery, FLash 9.4 in CWM
7. If you used ODIN and not heimdall, advanced restore data and fix permissions

***airfluip was correct. Boot only increased first two boots, after that only about a one second delay, which is (IMO) very impressive.

Thanks for this. I installed soon after it was posted and it's been super slick all afternoon. All of my apps and data restored with no problems. The only hiccup is that the miui weather app doesn't find a network connection to update, but that may be the app, as other weather apps are fine.

What I'm trying to fix for the next update is lockscreens in tweaks, USB Mount,wallpapers(showing wallpapers that I removed still), and maybe the original Bindroid Rosie, maybe a possible switch in bases :what:
