Hey whatsup guys! I was wondering if there's any way to make the boot animation last longer on the MIUI rom.
Because I have a bootaudio.mp3 that I want to use that's 14 seconds long and the boot animation only lasts like 6-8 seconds.
Is that possible or does it depend on the boot animation that you use?
If its not possible is there a way to make the splash screen time shorter?

I have the Motorola Triumph flashed to TickerGuy's FINAL CyanogenMod 7 Release, BETA 8 with Mantera's Overclocking Kernel TheOC v1.5 (LOVE LOVE LOVE this setup, by the way )
The problem I am having, and had even before with the stock Triumph ROM and Kernel, is NO splash image upon bootup. My boot animation works perfectly, but where the Motorola logo should be when you first boot, I just have a black screen for about 10 to 15 seconds. I tried flashing a new splash image multiple times with no luck. What are some steps I can take to get the splash image to show up so I can flash a custom one? I know it's not a big deal, but I'm HUGE on the aesthetic features available on this phone.

i am trying to find or make a good custom boot animation im currently on valhalla black edition(kj6) and I wanted something else other than the google boot animation. i want faster boot time (hopefully), if i want to disable boot ani and spash would my phone boot faster? my old inspire booted faster without the ani but it could have just been the new rom

I think it will speed up your boot time slightly, but I can't say that it will be a drastic improvement. A disabled boot animation is the preferred boot animation of a few folks around here.

Hello guys, Please if anyone can help me please reply! Here is my problem:
I am trying to port a LewaOs Rom to my Mtk6598 phone using this program http://chinaphonearena.com/forum/Thread-Tool-MTK-Firmware-Adapter-Tool?pid=5482 , and after a lot of tries I ended up with a ROM that gets past the "Android" logo, shows the boot animation then does a small vibration as if it was gonna show up the launcher however it continues to show the boot animation and do that small vibration each 10 seconds or so... Can someone please tell me what could the problem be? What files should I change for it to work? Thanks.
