The Latest build of cyanogenmod is cm nightlies build #259 for nexus
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=crespo
this is damn fast and smooth than any other cm7 versions
probably because it might be the last version of cm7 before the release of the cm9
based on ics...

looks like a mix of his work + francos kernel + matrix kernel
my friend installed it on his device and is running great but cm9 kangs are better at the moment
Running it now. It is just another mix. Nothing fixed.
I just did try Drew's beta 1, its not much different to brain masters mix11. But a bit more stable.

Great work anyway, cheers drew

Drew's beta 2 is very nice..
Having tried almost every ICS ROM worth mentioning, the latest CM9 alpha 13 with Franco 12.12 test kernel is the best IMO. Close second is the MV Kang

Drew's beta 2 is the best ICS rom to me but his ICY+S rom will be better, just give it a few days to release.

Two kernels?! Must run like an absolute raped ape. Probably predicts your inputs before you even think of making them.
Just flashed the matrix kernel and was needing to go back to the stock cm9 v.4 kernel that was built into the ROM itself. Anyone know if that's possible and if so how? Thanks.
Reflashing the ROM might do it.

Jamin is right...oh and in my experience cyanogenmod never works well with other kernels...

not true. ive been using cm since a week since cm first came to android with cm3, on many different phones, cm works great with other kernels. since cm7 and cm9, on the nexus s, ive never used cm stock kernel, always used a custom kernel(trinity).
If you don't want to flash all rom, you can flash only cm9 v4 kernel. I am not able to post the link (less 8 message..)
Go to cm9 thread they have posted kernel separately if you still can't find it let me know

i knew cm 7 nightly and rc3 work with baseband 2012 march, but miui how to put in cm information make miui work with baseband 2012 march
I think you can if you follow whitehawkx's guide to porting miui using the cm7 nightly... just a theory.
Pretty sure that's possible. The guide is on rootzwiki

It is not just simple as it looks... all you copying from cm nightly is ketnel and wifi drivers with few other modules.. audio crap isin framwork

I have already tried and it doesn't work. But looks like miui.us supports our phone now and dropped the o2x. If they update to the lasted cm it may be supported

Pass me a link to the MIUI you want to use and I could give it a try. Is it GB based or ICS?
Thanks to Rafase282 I can get miui to work just need a popular rom to mod. I have a stock miui.us rom uploaded to my Google drive account pm for link I'll post a rom when I read the rules and make sure I can and what I need to do so I don't get in trouble.

I'm trying miui v4 on my Nexus one. A bit slow, i dont know if its the phone or lack of HW but im liking it. I might try to port it once I get a stable release of LewaOS.
In the nightly Dev for CM9, can these builds be flashed on MT4G? Which build do I use for this device?

Here's some info about cm9/cm10...looks like official cm ports might be coming our way eventually
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1775596
If you want to run cm9 ports right now I can recommend either of these:

or

I've been running cnote74's with no issues but plan on installing 0.0's today to try it out.
Hope this helps!
I cannot find it anywhere and yes I did search. A lot! All I found was jelly bean builds. I want the stable ics build. Links please. Thanks

There is no "official aokp" for our phone, but the t989 is officially supported by white hawk. The hardware is almost identical so R4IN has been porting it.
Search with Google and use xda plus keywords, it'll save u time bro.
Also if u want ICS based aokp the two ROMs u can choose from are "AOKP flashback" by team PTSD, or chimera 2.2C

More powerful and super fast and smoother than ics, it is the best AOKP jellybean, but since its unstable you may experience hard reboots and bugs.
