is it possible to access the Internet thru PC ?

Say, my PC/notebook has wired or wirelesss connection to the Internet,
is it possible connect my phone with a usb and then my phone can access the Internet thru my PC's Internet connection?
In old day windows mobile, active sync could allow wm phone to access Internet thu usb connection.

Why don't you just use wifi on your phone to connect to your internet via a wireless modem.....?

Friends, here I am absolutely newbie. there something I wanna ask about my J hotspot portable.
I live in the dormitory such has no internet access for the student while i need it. so I use my J as the AP and can reach the internet throuh my laptop. But, since my room is next to other,my friend steal my hotspot and taking my quota. I already secure my hotspot with WPA2 but he take my password even when I already change it.
I have an idea about not to broadcast my SSID on my hotspot android AP. I would appreciate anyone who told me something about this matter. I already change my AP name become "virus","virus if click", or something like that, but it doesn't work. Please give me a help.

Maybe you should make the password as long as possible, possibly with some weird symbol combinations.

My friend is using such kind of wifi hacker tool, so one of the way I could get safe is not to broadcast my ssid.

Another way is to use usb tether menu. Just plug the usb, pick usb tether, and get those rndis drivers (xp).

I've tried it bro, but th connection is not as fast as it does in hotspot potable mode.

Not fast? I can get max speed at 3mbps download with rndis LAN showing 425mbps when switching to wcdma only mode.

Connecting two devices at the same time?

Hi, anyone have any luck with connecting two different devices at the same time with the SW2? I want to use it to control Spotify on my tablet but I don't want to lose out on notifications on my phone.

You can use the watch to control spotify on the phone in connected mode which will control spotify on the tablet. It works for me. (Must be connected to same Wi-Fi network)
