Let me just say this.
As this question(s) has already been asked a 1,000 times in many other forums lets not start out on a bad foot in this forum.
This question will undoubtedly show up again. Honestly the best thing to do is just read the ROM thread and see which ROM you like. Flash and keep each ROM for a couple of days and see how they work based upon your needs.
I understand that you are trying to get other users opinions in this matter but I just don't see the point of this thread continuing.
I hope you can understand. PM me if you have any questions or issues about this.
Thanks,
I ve been browsing the ROMs but please advice which one is very stable and offers good/some/any video/responsiveness improvement over the original HTC ROM.
I have unlocked Kaiser II from T-mobile in the UK.

Before the flames start (and I believe they will - this question is asked too frequently), let me give you my take on this...It's like asking which flavor of ice cream is your favorite. You'll get dozens of different answers and none of them will be right and none will be wrong. Which is best for your purposes? If it's not stable, it doesn't stay around long and you'll know it by responses in the threads. There are several on the front page because they stay on the front page because people are using them and asking/responding to questions.
Spend some time in the ROM's thread determining if it meets your general needs. Then try it out for several days. If it doesn't work for you...try something else. That's how many of us got to things.
FWIW - I use HyperDragon and love it.

couldnt have said it better...
but since this thread isnt closed YET...
i tell you my favorite ice cream flavour...
G's roms (garmin) DK8 final
good luck
I have yet to try out most of the ROM's (I've only tried out a handful) but so far my favorite is Hyperdragon, because I'm a very big fan of mannilla and it comes built in... Thats just my 2 cents though
The answer is MBV Solace V.1.5 and soon the much faster Solace 2 which is in beta RC11 right now! You're gonna love it!
instead of these threads that just take up space. We should just have a simple poll that should be displayed so that everyone will have their answer.
a new thread shouldnt have even been started for this question! i've seen threads before asking this and the mods closed them! but the best annswer is test out several and then decide and before you ever start a new thread know the rules about starting one first!

I always wanted a poll when I was new to this forum...someone really should set one up
Problem is the answer changes from some people daily.
I like most of the cocked roms around here, try a few yourself, they don't hurt to try.

I've tried several now, I'd say the one I'm using now is an awesome choice and you should give it a try. Just click the 'link' in my signature below, and let the joy begin.
I agree with the general consensus.... I've been through Hyperdragon, NATF, DK8, etc, and quite a few others. You need to decide for yourself which one is best, or build your own with all the options out there. Only you know exactly what you want.
I personally like Hyperdragon, and have literally a DVD full of software for it. I don't necessarily like the TF2 or TF3 as my needs go elsewhere.
I have taken suggestions from all the threads and am working on a ROM based on what I need. Speed & audio are very important to me. Photos and Videos- Not so much
Thank You for listening

lol hey bass this isnt the cocked rom thread bro!
no it's not, but it should be.
I use Solace, but i'm on RC7 and it has some quirks. Going to try 13 later and see what happens.
Also, In before lock.
AthineOS
This is the best so far!!! it has speed, stability, more memory. I guess the works. I tried everyone and this one suite me. Great job!!!
b16b.
Thanks
Romeos and now eOS4.888 FiRe
I've tried the a lot of the oldest ROMEOS (since 3. something) and now the -888- eOS 4.888 FiRe and I am pretty happy with it and Manilla 2D. It is VERY fast and has a great reliability. Highly recommended.
For the reasons already stated my other members, this thread is officially closed.
I know this will sound like a very stupid question to quite a few of you (atleast I hope it will so I get a quick answer lol), but as I am new to the idea of using a cooked rom what are the benefits of using a cooked rom such as NueROM-M 201 for Titan?
Bonus Question: Is that the best one out there for Titan/Mogul or does anyone know of a better one and once again, what are the benefits?

Well...
A cooked ROM is a version of the original ROM flavoured with the components great chefs add, normnally any cooked ROM is much better than the original ones
MS should pay chefs for making greater the use of the poor UI they have form factory
Enter to the correspondent sub forum of your device to learn more about the opinions on that ROM: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Titan

What is the best car? What is the best phone ? Where is the best place in New Jersey to live ? What is the best team Giants, JETS , Yankees ,Mets, Nets, Knicks? Ask five people what the best rom is, and you will get five different answers.
Think of the rom as the engine in your car and the chefs as custom mechanics. A certain amount of people will swear that the factory engine/rom is the best most tested and reliable. Some chefs will put on a super charger, some chefs swear that a turbo charger is better. Some chefs will throw on fuel injection, some say a carburator is the only way to go. Some go for raw horsepower, some go for better gas mileage.
This is why there is no best roms, and such discussions are discouraged.
Figure out what you want in a rom, speed, lots of programs , no programs , battery life and try a few and pick one to meet your needs.
Great reply!

I love it!
I just add: Test the more you can till you get the one you like, if follow instructions all will be fine
Dare to enjoy!
New to the fuze, old WM user who took a break for quite some time with black berry and Iphone..
Anyways... I would like to give this fuze a fair chance and have read to update to a WM 6.5 ROM.
I'm not much into tweaking, bug fixing, etc.. these days. I'd just like to get a nice clean ROM that will show me the potential this phone/device has.
I guess that would be a proven 6.5 ROM that removes the ATT bloatware, runs smoothly, and will give me a great user experience.
There are soooo many ROMs to choose from I have not idea where to start. Hoping with the above info someone can point me to a good one... I can take it from there in terms of downloading on phone etc...
I highly recommend Sheps ROM
Its fast, stable and has efficient battery usage.
On top of that if you ever figure out something you feel is wrong, just put a post in that thread and you will have a fix or an answer within a few hours.
Get it from my signature below.
Or how about a ROM that you made yourself? PM me and ill help you set up your own 6.5 ROM
Thanks for the reply guys... After a couple days of playing with the phone I just can't give up the iPhone. Espeacially with software 3.0 coming out..... too bad because the fuze is really a cool phone.
Thanks again!

Hd2 died and had to find a phone, got a g2x! Seems fast and works but I loved having my hd2 rooted and trying different ROMS. I have tried looking at a lot of threads and just can't seem to find anything or anything I can understand. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
Well you're a little late to the G2x party, although it might start up again soon.
So g2x is one of the easier phones out there to root/rom.

And after that you'll be ready to install your Rom, just visit the g2x Android Development forums and look through them til you see one that you like. The CM9/CM10 based ones aren't really ready yet, but they will be soon. So find one that says CM7 and just look through the threads til you find one you like.
I currently have Hellfire Pheonix on myself. It's not the prettiest stock, but you can change the theme.

Similar to the post above, I recommend finding yourself a cm7 based rom currently until the new su660/990 cm10 based stuff starts floating out. I personally run basic cm7.2 with the faux kernel. All of the cm7 based roms are rock solid stable generally, any of the cm10 based roms you see will have various bugs (gps/data-sms/battery drain/video record/etc). The cm10 roms are usable, just not 100% stable at the moment. Once the cm10 port drops which should be fairly soon, you'll be in good shape with just about anything in terms of reliability.

Than you again for help, Hellfire was nice but people are rude there. Looking for another one who are helpful and im willing to donate at some point.
Try mokeeOS. It's what I use coz its very well themed right out of the gate and a daily driver for me. Everything works as other mention coz it is CM7.2. Once the port for cm9/10 is ready, we'll love our phone more.

A word of advice, be like me and just lurk most of the time, people around here aren't here to teach us untalented people the basics. These saints are here to share and discuss with other developers, not baby us. I read an analogy somewhere "XDA-forums are as if developers are older brothers that just let us play with their toys, but they get annoyed by us easily."
