Ladies and gents, few may know me from the Samsung Vibrant forums, now that i've moved on to the G2x, i'll be resurrecting and taking over the Bionix series for G2x(with Krylon360's permission). I will do my best to keep this alive, between school and stuff. This ROM is all about speed & quality, just like all TeamWhiskey ROMs. Combining Bionix 2 with some much needed mods and tweaks to bring you maximum performance overall. Now lets get this out of the way:

Bionix Reloaded is the successor of Bionix 3, Bionix 3 is no longer supported.
Install Instructions (IMPORTANT)
-Make Backup (ALWAYS)
-Copy to External SD
-Reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery
-Wipe /data (Factory Reset) in CWM Recovery
-Format /system in Mount & Storage
-Flash & Reboot when promted
-When Welcome Screen comes up, DO NOT TOUCH, let sit for 10 mins (IMPORTANT)
-Reboot
-When it comes back up, let sit for 5 more mins (IMPORTANT)
-Sign In, enjoy the butter
Known issues:
1. Bluetooth pairing may fail the first time, just keep trying and it'll eventually pair. I think this is a LG issue, but i'll do my best to figure out a fix.

I tried to use faux kernel and just got a black screen. I love voodoo sound. Yes I used the correct kernel. Is this rom in some way incompatible with a custom kernel?

Exactly which one of faux's kernels did you flash? Any kernel that works with an OTA rom like Weapon should work on this.

what is the advantage to this rom?
no offence intended but ive become a bit jaded after all the disappointing performance of all roms i hate gingerbread but for me it at least works

Excellent rom, super silky. What type themes do you have in mind for this rom?

Glad to see some team whiskey love again. I loved bionix but was pretty disappointed in the lack of updates. I will give this a shot when I get a chance.

faux's kernels
all of faux's kernels seem to have a problem with every rom either power drain when off over night or boot loop crash

I highly recommend using the re-pack I posted in the Faux 1.3 thread rather than Faux's actual Rom. If you use the official Faux rom, you'll have long boot times every time due to it rebuilding Dalvik. The repack simply removes the dalvik rebuild instruction from the init script and enables init.d support as well (also in the init script), so the actual kernel is still Faux's.
I'll link it to this post as well. I only repacked the UV version btw. If someone wants it repacked for Stock Voltage, then someone else will need to learn how to repack a Kernel.
Also, you can NOT use my 2.3.4 kernels with this. The init scripts are slightly different.

I think many of us are ex-Vibrant users. This community's not as vibrant... erm (yes that's a bad pun), but there are some good people here.
Good to see you Mr. Apocolypse, we can always use more Roms.
Also, people SHOULD be able to use the copy of Bloater I've included in my Rom to access G2X Bloatware.

I introduce to you Bionix Infinity from Team Whiskey Dev Team.

Removed TouchWiz, using GB as stock.
Also added Launcher Pro, it can be uninstalled though.
Sdcard Hack, advanced it to 2048. It helps with SDCARD writes , specially from
ADB.
Modified Fugutweaks binaries.
Complete re-write of the Framework for speed and stability.
Transparent pull down menu and other dark themed mods.

Its real good, but since no installation instruction I wouldn't recommend it for any noobs.

Can anyone enlighten us

This looks awesome and while I haven't installed it yet since my internet is slow to download, is there an option to put the clock back in the notification bar? I like it up there a lot when I'm browsing the internet or something. If it's not up there then I'd either need to go back to the home screen or lock my phone to see what time it is.

Are you coming from stock, infused, or refuse. If u r running infused or refuse use recovery option you get when u go to shut phone off. If u r running stock u need 3e modded recovery

i am in a Samsung boot loop trying to reflash refuse through odin to redownload rom manager and reflash this rom but now i am getting a mount error great lol back to stock then to restart process lol

i think i just got a brick...
i flashed it through Rom manager and it installed fine now its at the Samsung boot screen a bootloop kinda going on.
how long did it take to boot up?

im in a bootloop also... tried to wipe and reflash my back up amd it wont go past samsung and a snow screen

im just gonna back straight to stock root and the whole show.
this time i backed up my pictures to photobucket

id really like to try this...little issue on my end though...i am currently on the GB leak...im trying to use PST to flash back to ED2>EE4....but it keeps saying "Cannot open ComPort" and Odin isnt finding my phone either...any ideas?

Use pst to flash back to the factory tar located on the sticky in dev section... p3droid has a total factory tar... update to ota ee4, then flash my humble rom.

No. This is an EE4 rom... the only one that will work is stranula's ee4 battery mod at the bottom of the op on that page

I set the density to 240 and it works. All is centered.

I was on the GB leak since yesterday afternoon but I'm currently flashing the Humble ROM. If this is truly clean, stable and fast, I'll probably end up using this for a while.

Yea...just traded my iphone for the Charge yesterday and immediately got to work on it...its a little different from my thunderbolt, but I think I could get used to it...hope you like the rom

Just hold off for a couple days, I am pretty sure by the end of the weekend, I will have one out for the GB roms...

Would be nice to have some ROMs for EP1F, GB.

Does this include a kernel? Can it be used with a voodoo kernel if not? Should it unconvert my existing voodoo setup before flashing this?

I did... And it works great. Like it overall.... Just gotta get rid of the orange message boxes. Ugh! Lol. Who ever told Samsung that orange and brown looked good outside of Halloween needs to be shot. Lol.

I completely agree with that statement... They are big fans of the Cleveland browns or something

hey...has there been a major update to CWM that I missed? I thought using the backup/restore function caused bricks...in fact, the CWM I have does not contain Backup/Restore options....
don't get me wrong, I'd love to have that option back, but I had read several places that we are not to do that on the Charge...

"GO GREEN" is the new ACS EG22 Rom. I chose the name Go, because I'm a new fan of Go Launcher, and Green, because I just like the color green. The name has nothing to do with helping the environment..sorry (nothing against helping Mother Earth). There is also some ACS blue in there (couldn't leave that out).

I have add this booster just for show it really doesn't do anything for the system but it is provides great scores for benching and that's about it.

Thanks man!..lol..but in all seriousness, Jez did a hell of a job here. There's a good amount of black mixed with the green and a great font baked in to it. That Go Task Killer is a nice addition as well. Oh, and for benchmark junkies, Smartbench 2010 scores are impressive. I messed with adding Tegrak Ultimate to overclock it a bit and man those Smartbench scores were as fast or faster than Bamboozle.

I'm thinking of odin'ing to EG22 and then flashing this ROM since I've been on stock froyo EC05 ever since I got my replacement over 2 months ago. Am I likely to face many issues with EG22/GB? I did my share of looking around in some of the bug threads and don't see anything major.

As soon as I get this downloaded (damn u slow 3g..), I'm flashing. Looks great!

Its about time people gave props and started using a Go Launcher in their roms.
Im a big fan of green too,this rom looks real good,good job.

As far as I know, you can just flash the EG22 hack from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1172576, at least that is what I am planning on doing. I have just ODIN'd to EG22 so I'm going to go ahead with the ROM flash in just a few minutes.

This looks good, flashing soon. So why will I get vibes at boot. Does it happen everytime, is there any way that it will happen again @ OP

You will get vibes because the ROM is auto-converting itself to EXT4.
It will only happen the first time you boot.

i just flashed this, but tibu is having trouble accessing root permissions for some reason, along with the other apps that use it. i tried reflashing it but to no avail.
super user is pooing on me too D: it simply says that theres no access to SU binary =\

Use the su fix from the doctorz rom I posted projectvurtue....that should fix it...just boot into cwm after you download and flash...no wipe

Wow just when I get ready to flash a rom...two more new ones pop up. Loving this portapalooza lol. I'm seriously gonna need like 2 days to flash them all... Thanks for the options, devs (especially dman, porting a new rom everyday!). Ill try to provide some feedback when I get a chance to flash...

Ive already experiened about 3 to 4 jvt roms ( thanks to hellraisers) prior to darky's extreme edition. lol awesome rom.
I do agree that porting i9000 roms to infuse gives us more variety to flash.

thanks for the fast reply, worked like a charm
after tinkering with it, i wonder if any devs out there can offer some clarification. This seems to be common to the JVT based 2.3.5 roms? But they don't seem to read ID3 tags properly. I rely on my infuse as my primary music player so this is a bit of a set back coming from CM7. any insight?
edit: if its a 2.3.5 issue, then here's hoping it gets upgraded to 2.3.6 or 7 soon so the music core can read id3 tags properly.
otherwise, its running really smooth. More smooth than ginger-real. Really want to stick to the ROM for now, trying to find a workaround for the id tags. Using player pro, some of the files can't be edited, so that's a little enerving.

Bigfau is a great Dev....helped me alot...taught me a few things...he deserves alot of credit....I don't consider myself a dev til I put my own custom rom out there....but thanks guys
