Silicon skin recommendations

Just received an ebay silicon skin for my desire but looks like its for a htc desire 6200?! whatever that is , so it doesnt line up the camera,etc.
Can anyone recommend one that fits the desire well.
Found this one, does anyone have it?

They look like a perfect fit for the nexus one so should fit the desire fine.
Personally im holding out until official htc desire ones are released and not just re badged nexus one accessories.

FloatingFatMan in the 'Cases / screen protectors / accessories' thread got one in an accessories pack. He said it was a tight fit but that it fit well and holes were in the right places etc but it really is just a nexus one case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653586&page=13
I sent a query to mobilefun yesterday about the cases and they replied:

Thanks, flexisheild is currently out of stock at mobilefun. Should be back in 2-3 days according to their site.
One word of warning, dont by the silicon skin off ebay for the htc desire 6200. It doesnt fit. Only cost £2 from hong kong but still.

I can confirm that paulruk just said: that HTC Desire 6200 silicone skin definitely does NOT fit the Desire. Luckily, it was very cheap...

Think they've been sent today, but not sure how long they'll take to arrive. They look exactly the same as the mobilefun ones though.

lol, i took a chance and bought those same ones for approx £2.50 from the same seller earlier
not quite sure what's going on with his listings, but he has the same items listed at different prices
view his other items, then search for "nexus" and sort by Price + P&P: lowest first

They are the same product as the mobile fun ones.
Mobilefun buys them wholesale from china for like $1 a case and then resells them here, the ebay sellers do the same but cheaper.

That one is just a G1 case called differently. It will fit Desire, but it's different from Nexus One case.

Would this case be loose enough to accommodate both the Desire and a gel case, like flexi-shield?

I doubt it because on Nexus One it's pretty tight. Though for that price you might get it and try to stretch it.

I have those two too! Using mofi as it fits better than Sena, but still finding it a bit too loose.

Yeah, I'm just hoping it's compatible with my android phone.

Regarding the difference between the oem pouch for desire and nexus one,
i got a reply from the seller and he said this:
No friend,the one for G7 is a little bigger than this one you were order,do you want to change it?

[Q] Desire Z Case fits with G2?

I'm pretty sure they are designed the same way, so using a desire z case shouldn't be a problem with trying it on a G2 right?

This is the only U.S alternate I could find:

But as you see it doesn't cover the trackball. I have it now and it looks off without it compared to my other cases.
And the U.K version is the only one I could find.

Oh no, this was a U.S seller from ebay. Did more searching and found a seller from the U.S on ebay.

Mobilefun do them for about £20; don't know if you'd class that as cheap or not (they also do cheaper unbranded ones, no idea if those are any good). Plus they deliver pretty quickly (dispatched on day of order, arrived the following day 1st class post).

No experience with them I'm afraid, but I'd be wary having read through some of their negative feedback (particularly the recurring ones along the lines of 'not genuine, Chinese copy' etc. on listings with "Genuine" in the title (although these weren't all specifically for batteries)).
Might be alright, might not be, but I guess that's the risk you take trying to do things cheaply.

I've bought of E-Cell in the past. Cheap stuff. Delivery is tad slow from times I have dealt with them.

Hmm OEM batteries stated might be fake but i still suggest getting it from people who sells the original htc's one

If you want it quick you might as well forget about buying from e-cell. I've ordered many times in past as there cheap but their delivery is slow as snails. You could probably get something shipped over from China quicker than them.

I just got this phone yesterday and I love it. imo I think the one x looks better but I love how compact this phone is for how big the screen is. cant go wrong that. as far as im concerned the one x+ still isn't too much of an upgrade besides its hd screen

I think you can't go wrong with either. The One X does feel good and solid and the bigger screen is awesome too. But the One S is so thin and sexy; even with a case. I went back to stock for the new update and this thing is even faster.
In my opinion, the only reason somebody would get a One X is because of the bigger screen. Even though the One is is marketed below the One X, it certainly does not feel or operate like it.

I don't think there will be a One S+. The way I see it, the One X+ was a small bump that gave the US a non-LTE but Tegra3 version. If you want the big screen, I would wait, but I'm really happy with the One S for the already stated reasons.

These can be found for $250 on craigslist. Buy it now sell it later without losing a dime.

I purchase both my Nexus One and my Nexus S on craigslist. Its up to the buyer to make sure they don't get scammed. I take someone with me so I don't get robbed/jumped and I make sure the phone is working and I can make a call before money is even shown. Craigslist is a wonderful place to get stuff. The only people that get scammed on there are the gullible ones.

Not sure but I know my carrier has them listed for $600 I think. I just got 4 of them for my family and not sure i will keep mine I like my Galaxy Nexus and would like to sell my HTC to save the $ for the next Nexus.

I just got a new one from craigslist a couple days ago, nothing wrong with getting stuff off of CL.. especially since phones come with a 1 year manufacture warranty if there is a issue with it (besides cracked screens).

Just bought HTC One S from a "nice" dude I found on Craigslist. The guy apparently works for T-Mobile, and we completed the transaction at a T-Mobile store. I paid $275 for a brand new HTC One S. I wanted a Galaxy S3 originally but getting a One S for around 60% of a GS3 price feels good. It's a good phone for the price for sure.

HTC One S is a great phone, if you enjoy compacted efficiency.

This phone is great IMO it all comes down to what you like, go on YouTube watch some reviews and see what you think.

I loved my G1 as well, there is a difference between cheap plastic and premium plastic.. compare the N9/one x with the galaxy s 2 hahah

You can always rendezvous with the craiglist seller in a bank or ATM machines as there are always camera's there and you can verify the phone is legit and then get the money from the ATM and that way if you ever have to file a complaint, you will have the time and hopefully the camera captured you and the seller doing the transaction in the bank lobby

or you can have the guy meet you outside your house and set up a camera haha

As much as this Craigs list thing is hijacking the thread I suppose I'll participate..Just meet inside a McDonald's. Public, cameras, plenty to choose from. But always, always put your SIM and micro sd in and check all functions first.
