Silicon skin recommendations

Just received an ebay silicon skin for my desire but looks like its for a htc desire 6200?! whatever that is , so it doesnt line up the camera,etc.
Can anyone recommend one that fits the desire well.
Found this one, does anyone have it?

They look like a perfect fit for the nexus one so should fit the desire fine.
Personally im holding out until official htc desire ones are released and not just re badged nexus one accessories.

FloatingFatMan in the 'Cases / screen protectors / accessories' thread got one in an accessories pack. He said it was a tight fit but that it fit well and holes were in the right places etc but it really is just a nexus one case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653586&page=13
I sent a query to mobilefun yesterday about the cases and they replied:

So it may be worth waiting a while for the desire specific accessories to show up still.

Thanks, flexisheild is currently out of stock at mobilefun. Should be back in 2-3 days according to their site.
One word of warning, dont by the silicon skin off ebay for the htc desire 6200. It doesnt fit. Only cost £2 from hong kong but still.

I can confirm that paulruk just said: that HTC Desire 6200 silicone skin definitely does NOT fit the Desire. Luckily, it was very cheap...

Think they've been sent today, but not sure how long they'll take to arrive. They look exactly the same as the mobilefun ones though.

lol, i took a chance and bought those same ones for approx £2.50 from the same seller earlier
not quite sure what's going on with his listings, but he has the same items listed at different prices
view his other items, then search for "nexus" and sort by Price + P&P: lowest first

They are the same product as the mobile fun ones.
Mobilefun buys them wholesale from china for like $1 a case and then resells them here, the ebay sellers do the same but cheaper.

Seidio Online

Just so you guys know, Seidio Online officially has a "HTC Sensation" section up on their website. I believe it went up today, here's the link:

I don't use screen protectors, but I did read that the clarivue are better.

I can't wait until a Heidi case comes out for the sensation. I had the case and belt holster for my nexus one and that was the best thing.

i hope seidio is quicker to market with their sensation specific items. they dragged their feet on the G2 products. i wanted a holster and came to them first since i had one for my nexus one from them. after a couple months, i was finally able to get an HTC branded one from HTC's store instead because they never released anything. i dont like my phone in my pocket. im one that prefers it clipped to my belt

Any nice places to get good quality DHD cases in sg? Maybe like case mate those kind? I've been using the cheapo pasar malam type for so long -.- any places you would recommend?

Try SimLim Square. I got my Case Mate there. They are very good and also expensive. It was 45$ and worth it.

Bought mine, Casemate as well, from a small shop in Sunshine plaza for $35 last year when I finally found one shop selling case for DHD

doesnt seem worth it getting the casemates from shops here. grossly overpriced. i got the casemate barely there for 22sgd with shipping from ebay.

Says the same in the US... However, I have hope it will be temporary. Google plans to open retail stores (as does Microsoft, both to compete more directly with Apple I assume) and it would make no sense whatsoever if these accessories disappeared before the retail stores begin to appear. Maybe they're doing it intentionally or maybe they just have supply that cannot meet demand and delays in manufacturing. At any rate, I suspect we will see them back sometime in the very near future.

Maybe it's a sign that a new Nexus is on the horizon?

Wasn't there a white official bumper in the news a few days ago? Maybe they are updating it for that.

It looks like it's in stock if you navigate to the bumper directly from an old link, but if you just try to browse for it in the Play store, it's still no longer there. Just the wireless charger shows. I nabbed one off Ebay yesterday after it sounded like it was going to be discontinued permanently. Have a replica but the fit and finish difference is ultimately big enough to me that I'd prefer the genuine thing, for the black bumper at least.

I agree. The Replica's feel like there's a case on my phone. The real ones feel like it's part of the phone, no creaks or imperfections. Well worth the money to nab the official one.

That's a very good way to put it...I had bought the OEM one during the first wave of sales for it, but sold it during the time people were paying way more than retail for it. Having the replicas now, they do really feel like a noticeable case on the phone, whereas I remember how the OEM merged with the phone and practically became the phone. I couldn't shake that old memory and had to repurchase the real deal. The replicas are fun for the extra non-OEM colors though.

All I did was type in the word bumper on Google play and it showed up for me. That's how I found it I didn't use an older link.

Its the best overall bumper available for the n4 in my opinion. Its worth every penny and trust me I've tried every bumper this one is the best.

Yeah I've used the reflex series case when I had my iPhone 4S. It's pretty good buy I just don't like snap cases. They never seem to have a good enough snap in order for the case to stay together. But you know when it production of cases, they are getting better and better.
