In short it's a great App by Chainfire to control with yours smart-phone compatible canon dslr with a use of usb cable or wi-fi if yours camera has built in transmitter or an adapter.
It's paid and still in beta, but much better then free eos-remote by canon.
Google it.

OK!
OK, thank you!

Wasn't it working before? Oo
Used for a while a long time ago.

Theres an app on market named USB/BT Joystick center which allows you to connect xbox wired controller
but it required 3.2+...and unfortunately we are stuck on GB
is there any app which allows to connect xbox wired controller to GB ??
Here is the link where its bundled with the ROM itself

I tried it with neorom 2.1. It works. However it seems not to work on neorom v3

Really.... Have you connected the joystick and played any games? If you played please tell us step by step procedure..
I tried on fpse emulator and dead trigger. It works fine. It takes a while to learn how to setup. I think the instructions are provided on the app's official page. Most importantly you must have a genuine ps3 sixaxis controller. Just saying again, i confirmed its not working on neorom v3

Fun stuff to do with a $5 HDMI Micro Hdmi to HDMI dat

Ok I imagine it would be fun to go to a friends house and hook up your 5$ Micro HDMI cable from your phone to their TV and start playing some strange video... but besides that, what would be the most impressive? I'm thinking running some video console emulator would be the best trick, if friends with androids could get a bluetooth controller app off market and could play VS.? Is this even possible?:fingers-crossed:
Yes, it is possible. You can use a wii remote, PS3 controller, or USB keyboard as a controller for the games.

theres an app called sixaxis controller that should allow you to pair a PS3 controller thru bluetooth
i also found this which looks kinda kool, i didnt read it to see if it has specific requirments, just looked cool as hell and caught my eye lol
http://www.gizmag.com/gameklip-android-ps3-games/23592/
Also there are some emulators that have built in controller support so all you have to do is pair it with the phone and map the buttons. But for the sixaxis controller app you need to be rooted for the controller to work. Rooting will also give you the option to overclock the processor so some of the more graphics heavy games will run smoother.

That is pretty sick! At first I though it was for the Keyboard function of a smartphone but actually the screen for the game! Though I'd like to see that mount different...In the gaming sense for VS games Tribes Ascend?!!Wonder if they'' have a android app prolly not .... It is better and does not require the TV...In the mean time I came up with using the TV connected to the triumph for a mobile security detail using tinycam monitor installed on the Triumph connected via HDMI to TV and SeCuret spycam Livestream (vs ip cam it has the benefit of detect motion @upload to dropbox as well... Feeding video is all IP camera does

If you don't have the apk or the icon in the phone must have been removed from the rom version You using. I there are some apps in the market for dnla server you can try that way.

have you tried the HDMI ?
schubeir
Or just put the vids/pictures on a USB drive, and then plug it into your TV.
It is advised to convert the .jps 3D pictures into .mpo first, otherwise the TV will destroy the aspect ratio. (unfortunately)
(Use 'Stereo Photo Maker' to convert from jps to mpo in batches!)

I subscribe to that. For me HDMI was the only way - continous and fast, to see 3D on my LG 3D TV. All other stuff that implies the use of Wifi or ethernet is not good to use - pretty low speed of streaming data and on USB it's more likely to have conflicts and errors due to improper format or codecs.

No, USB works perfect.
Why would a video made with an LG device not work on a LG TV?
Like I said, I'm doing this all the time.

[MOD] Somebody enabled Miracast for Nexus 7

I just found this on GitHub:
Somebody, called Kensuke, enabled Mircast (Streaming screen over WiFi) for the Nexus 7. I don't have mine here so I can't test it.
Maybe somebody can try it out.
It seems that he compiled the complete 4.2.2 ROMs with the addional Miracast Support.
Try it on your own Risk!

awesome! Cm should merge this feature. And now, we know Miracast is a software-related not hardward-related. Oh yeah.

Oh man I hope this gets baked into some ROMs! This is the one feature that I really want that the N7 doesn't have...
I would love this baked into a ROM
Would love to see this become a common feature for Roms.

Tried the Tilapia package for my 3g. It almost works. I'm going to play with it some more. Documentation for his app would be great. It's not straightforward.
Have there anyone a image now?

If someone would like to test it I did include the patch on my ROM, take a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43489843#post43489843
So anyone able to verify this working?
Working fine here.
Using Samsung Allshare cast dongle.

Well this is exciting. Hopefully there's enough demand for it so we won't be limited to just a handful of ROMs to take advantage of this.
I wonder if there is any way a mod like this could be packaged into an Xposed module? Or is it such a fundamental change that it has to be baked into the ROM?
I would test this out if I had a Miracast receiver already. Also I don't want to lose the tethering menu in my current tilapia ROM, so ideally if a ROM had both Miracast & tethering that'd be great.

So you streamed your screen to your TV, no problems at all?
Is it smooth? How much does the Allshare dongle cost, I should get this instead of Android stick PC.

Tried both allshare cast dongle and Android TV stick (dual core rk3066 one), all works. Pretty much the same experience as my Nexus 4 with native wireless display.
With android TV stick, it lags a lot. Definitely not for gaming, no. But with allshare cast dongle, it works much much better..
In my country, the dongle cost me around $80
