IPSec VPN

Has anyone looked at some type of IPSec VPN application? We use a Cisco VPN Concentrator that would make an awesome addition to this phone. I had the BlueFire VPN on my Windows Mobile phone which made connecting to routers/switches and servers on the go awesome.
Any ideas? I'm not a strong linux person, nor am i a programmer so unfortunatly i can' go an write my own
Cheers,

Has anbody ported the Cisco anyconnect client to android os?

I need an ssl vpn that will be compatible with my work's ASA firewalls, just curious if anybody has gotten anyconnect to work on Android or an open source ssl vpn client (I've never found one for Ubuntu yet).

http://code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc/
tun.ko compiled on evo (may work for inc)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6839625
this works for me on my evo using a cisco vpn concentrator and rsa token
All it does is crash on me. Anyone else have success?
our company only has a web-vpn enable. can "robot-vpn" successfully connect via web-based VPN ? If yes, please know how to do setting.
Right now, I can only use microsoft IE to go to login page and do loging and connect to company network.
I have install this ciscoxxx.apk, have tuk.o installed, and rooted. I try "robot-vpn" many time and try to do login and all failed.
Ryo.
vpn evo
Iceman... can you walk me through the settings for a cisco pix 501 from an evo...installed on rooted evo but app crashes upon connect attempt
Sorry!
The application VPN Connections (process org .codeandroid. vpnc_frontend) has stopped unexpectedly.
Please try again.
VPN_Connections Works for Me
hxxp://code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc/downloads/detail?name=VPN_Connections_v099.apk&can=3&q=
I got this to work (IPSec to AnyConnect running on ASA5500 series)... Change the xx in the hxxp to the appropriate characters and enjoy! You must have the TUN in your ROMs kernel, BTW.
Good Luck!

Yes, that post requesting this was over a year ago.
Cisco sent it to me directly once it was in beta

Thank you for this, I had no idea that this was available.
Do you know how to get that Cisco apk file besides going through the android market place? After much debugging that site still doesn't work for me and I'm going through the hoops for their tech support right now...
finally found it on the net, now getting the dreaded
"could not obtain the necessary permissions to run this application. this device does not support anyconnect"
This is like the early days of java. we're going backwards I tells ya!
Hi,
Actually I use Cisco anyconnect client for rooted android device.
To configure the VPN ssl server on the cisco device you could use the CLI or if you are a beginner, try the CPP cisco software (you need the CCO account).

VPN and openvpn

I'm not sure which forum to ask this and hope I'm not ot here.
Although I've used Windows and android for a long time, I've not yet dabbled with VPNs. So I did a lot of reading and remain somewhat confused about implementation.
My netgear router has an option to install openvpn and my question is not about that. If I install openvpn on the router, do I still need one of the many VPN apps on my phone? Or is openvpn its own vpn and does not require the monthly cost of another vpn app or the security risks of a free vpn Android app?
I hope I clearly explained my confusion....
You can use OpenVPN Client. There are many clients available but this one works well.
Thanks.

Galaxy Note 10+ OpenVPN Client

Hi, I hope this is the best place for my question.
I need to use my Galaxy Note+ to connect to my company´s VPN trough OpenVPN Client. Everything is working fine with the connection, etc. But, to use my company resources I need to add a static route on Android, because my VPN IP address is on a different IP range from the work network IP range. I am the first one to use OpenVPN with this purpose in my company and I´ve been searching on Google with no success for this case. Is there a way to solve this?
usually, the route was push by the server openvpn, perhaps hou can ask your administrator to modify it

How to Setup Private IKEv2 / IPSec MSCHAPv2 VPN on Windows Server to Connect From Android 12+ Phone - Full Tutorial Guide YouTube Video

If you are frustrated since #L2TP/PPTP is gone after MIUI 13 Update, or after your phone's / tablet's / device's Android Version update, then this full guide tutorial is for you. If your phone, tablet, or mobile device's Android version is above 11 and you can't find the #PPTP VPN protocol to connect your private #VPN, then don't worry. Because I am explaining the easiest way to set up our VPN to connect from your device in this tutorial guide.
Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) was so easy to set up on Windows Server and you were able to connect your private VPN easily through your phone. But this is not possible anymore since PPTP is removed from the majority of phones and mobile devices.
So instead of setting up our private VPN through features of Windows Server, we are going to use open source #SoftEther VPN Project.
In this video I will show you thoroughly from scratch:
1: Generate a new virtual server on Hyper-V and install Windows Server 2019 evaluation version.
2: Install SoftEther VPN Project on Windows Server 2019.
3: Make the necessary configuration of SoftEther.
4: Generate and export the #OpenVPN configuration file.
5: Modify the OpenVPN configuration file which ends with the .ovpn extension.
6: Install the OpenVPN app through Google Play Market and import the .ovpn configuration.
7: Connect to your VPN from your phone. I demonstrate this with my Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro - Android 12
8: With this methodology, we don't have to deal with complex and very hard-to-set-up IKEv2 / #IPSec #MSCHAPv2, #IKEv2 / IPSec #PSK, and IKEv2 / IPSec #RSA VPN protocols. These are the only available protocols on my mobile device.

let me explain again. how else I could describe this video title ? why did I made this video?
Because I wanted to setup my vpn. However all existing tutorials not anymore working because phones are now only supporting IKEv2 . So I did search for IKEv2 word
And what a surprise there isn't any good tutorial and easy way to setup IKEv2
Instead I did a lot of research and found a way to connect IKEv2 supporting phones
an easy one
How is this now click bait?
You are fooling people. Those who enter this post or see the title of your video on YouTube are waiting for a guide to configure an IKEv2 MSCHAPv2 server and be able to connect from Android 12+ with the integrated VPN client. Instead, what you show has nothing to do with IKEv2, it is an OpenVPN server for which it is necessary to use a third-party app on Android.
Also SoftEther does not support IKEv2, only IKEv1 (ISAKMP)/L2TP.
