Has anyone looked at some type of IPSec VPN application? We use a Cisco VPN Concentrator that would make an awesome addition to this phone. I had the BlueFire VPN on my Windows Mobile phone which made connecting to routers/switches and servers on the go awesome.
Any ideas? I'm not a strong linux person, nor am i a programmer so unfortunatly i can' go an write my own
Cheers,

Hi!
Is there any working VPN-client that supports standard IPSEC?? We don't control out external access in our network and the company that runs our firewalls they have set up a watchguard soho 6, which is a standard IPSEC solution. We use the MUVPN (mobile user vpn) client where we have gotten IPSEC policy files (something.spd) which we can't change/look at.
So my question is, is there a VPN client that supports standard IPSEC with IPSEC policy Import??? (for the Windows Mobile 2005 platform.)
I have tried as many vpn-clients that I have been able to find. And the one I assume would work is SafeNets SoftRemotePDA (for Pocket PC) but it is no longer maintained and nowhere to be fiound (tried e-mailing the company as well)
any suggestion would be Great!
I need an ssl vpn that will be compatible with my work's ASA firewalls, just curious if anybody has gotten anyconnect to work on Android or an open source ssl vpn client (I've never found one for Ubuntu yet).

this works for me on my evo using a cisco vpn concentrator and rsa token
All it does is crash on me. Anyone else have success?
our company only has a web-vpn enable. can "robot-vpn" successfully connect via web-based VPN ? If yes, please know how to do setting.
Right now, I can only use microsoft IE to go to login page and do loging and connect to company network.
I have install this ciscoxxx.apk, have tuk.o installed, and rooted. I try "robot-vpn" many time and try to do login and all failed.

Iceman... can you walk me through the settings for a cisco pix 501 from an evo...installed on rooted evo but app crashes upon connect attempt
Sorry!

VPN_Connections Works for Me
hxxp://code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc/downloads/detail?name=VPN_Connections_v099.apk&can=3&q=
I got this to work (IPSec to AnyConnect running on ASA5500 series)... Change the xx in the hxxp to the appropriate characters and enjoy! You must have the TUN in your ROMs kernel, BTW.
Good Luck!

Yes, that post requesting this was over a year ago.
Cisco sent it to me directly once it was in beta

Thank you for this, I had no idea that this was available.
Do you know how to get that Cisco apk file besides going through the android market place? After much debugging that site still doesn't work for me and I'm going through the hoops for their tech support right now...
finally found it on the net, now getting the dreaded
"could not obtain the necessary permissions to run this application. this device does not support anyconnect"
This is like the early days of java. we're going backwards I tells ya!
Hi,
Actually I use Cisco anyconnect client for rooted android device.
To configure the VPN ssl server on the cisco device you could use the CLI or if you are a beginner, try the CPP cisco software (you need the CCO account).
I have to use the l2tp vpn to connect the Internet in my school, it's quite easy in the age of GingerBread.
But things changed since I upgrade my Nexus S to IceCream Sandwich. There's no l2tp without IPsec option anymore.
I have tried the app "1 vpn", and it can't work either.
So I can't connect to the Internet via WiFi anymore in my school. It's terrible for me, 3G data is very very expensive here.
Is there any solution that dosen't need to downgrade to GingerBread?
Could anyone help me?
iOS officially doesn’t support “l2tp without IPSec” either, but there's a solution:
Creat a file named "options" in /etc/ppp, which writes:
Code:
plugin L2TP.ppp
l2tpnoipsec
iOS is derived from MAC OS, which is familiar with UNIX. Android is derived from Linux, which is also familiar with UNIX.
Android has the /etc/ppp folder too, I tried the iOS way but failed.
So, is there any possibilty to add ICS a l2tp VPN without IPSec in the familiar way as iOS?
I use OpenVPN instead, and it really works
Android IPsec (Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich)
With ICS, the VPN options have been revamped and the following choices are available:
L2TP/IPsec PSK
L2TP/IPsec RSA
IPsec Xauth PSK
IPsec Xauth RSA
IPsec Hybrid RSA
is not by me reported from here doc.pfsense.o r g
now is still working test and feedback for dev
regards

配置文件在哪边弄到的?我是用的学校的bras,没给配置文件啊。折腾一上午没搞定。
I need a VPN client app that supports connecting to a L2TP/IPsec VPN using a Pre-shared key. I have tried many VPN client apps and have been unable to get a successful connection. I have been able to successfully connect using Win7, Win10 as well as iOS and one android LG V40 ThinQ on Verizon using LG’s built-in advanced VPN client. The basic android clients as well as many 3rd party VPN client apps don’t seem to work for this VPN. Unfortunately I do not have access to the server to make changes to the VPN’s configuration.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Any ideas why it would work on iOS and Windows devices but not Android?
First of all you should clarify - are you looking a free or paid VPN services?
As for paid: I would advise to try surfshark, cyberghost
As for free: vpngate.net, tunnel bear
But be warned that free services are always prone to be laggy and usually not so secure and have vulnerabilities which newbies users couldn't know!
I hope this helps!
Hi, I hope this is the best place for my question.
I need to use my Galaxy Note+ to connect to my company´s VPN trough OpenVPN Client. Everything is working fine with the connection, etc. But, to use my company resources I need to add a static route on Android, because my VPN IP address is on a different IP range from the work network IP range. I am the first one to use OpenVPN with this purpose in my company and I´ve been searching on Google with no success for this case. Is there a way to solve this?
usually, the route was push by the server openvpn, perhaps hou can ask your administrator to modify it
