Hi everyone as i am a noob (16 year old) and never backed up my stock telecom xt rom (over excited) i simply ask if any New Zealanders would be able to help me by uploading a copy of there own backup to dropbox or another site for me and other noobs (16 year olds) to possibly download
THANX
EDIT: I'm 17 now but I was 16 when I got my HTC Sensation!!!
Yep, I have got the XT phone & have a back up of the stock ROM. I am not sure exactly which file the back-up is on, there is a folder inside 'clockworkmod' called 'backup', there are several files in there, totalling over 1Gb! Not sure if I want to upload this. However, I would be happy to send you a CD Rom with the whole folder. Let me know if you are keen.
Oh well if you know how to use dropbox it would be much easier using that because that way your just share the file http://www.dropbox.com/help/19
EDIT: okay I just read that it would be better to do this through a computer
EDIT: Great, I can now get one thanks to 'CdTDroiD' who is helping me out tonight
Found it?
Hey M07S,
Did you find a stock ROM for Telecom NZ in the end? I was looking for it too and wondering where you got it from?
Cheers,
I have a stock rom backup. I'm currently at work at the moment - but when I get home will add it to my dropbox and share it for you.
Thanks Phantogenic!
Life saver.

I just downloaded this ROM from upload/hermes, unfortunately the file is corrupted and i was unable to completely unpacked it. Anyone who have uploaded the file please re-upload. Thanks.
could be that it's your download which were corrupted
and if you tried to download it soon after you got the same corrupted
file from the cache of your isp
I just downloaded the newly FIXED file from uploads/Hermes. The new file unpacked properly, but when I run ROMupgradeUT.exe, I still get ROM Image file not found error.
It seems like the ROM file was not properly unpacked. The ROM file size that I got from unpacking is only 76,597,264b, but WINRAR is showing 87,941,052byte.
Could you please re-upload good file? Thanks again in advance.
Its a new version ?
Today I found the English ROM has been re-uploaded again, and confirmed it has NOT broken this time.
Confirmed OK now. Finally, I can flash my Chinese Hermes to English version. Thanks to whoever that have fixed this.
I posted the ROM. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I started a thread in Howard forums awhile back about getting the ROM from my contact. I reuploaded it yesterday. Hope everything works out for everyone. I have been using the new ROM (Dopod Asia) for over 2 weeks now. Seems stable.
ttgolf,
Do you have the Chinese ROM with you? I am thinking of reverting back to Chinese ROM before I return this one to get a new replacement unit due to screen alignment problem.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I should just like to thank you for doing this.
Something in this rom fixed a serious audio problem I was having with TCPMP and another 3rd party MP# player (I can't remember).
I would be curious if anyone's reception has improved with this newer radio version as well.
Sorry Johnsin I don't have the Chinese ROM. I can try to ask for it. Why are you reversing back to Chinese ROM?
What are the versions on the uploaded ROM?
ttgolf,
I need to revert to chinese rom due to i am about to replace my current unit with new one because of the screen alignment problem. Thanks in advance.
If not ill give it a go as id like to have something to fall back on if i dont like the cooked ones.

That;s true, but I believe the one from My XDA is german only.
I didn't dump my o2 stellar ROM before I converted to Dutty -- so if anyomne does I would be interested just in case I need a warranty return.
Thanks Guys!
Alex
O2 steller rom is boring, i had it for 2 hours then flash to dutty's rom.
dutty's is much better and faster
Yes Please flipside!!!!
Hey flipside. Big yes please from me!!!
I've had some *ahem* flashing problems with my XDA Stellar (see my thread here). Having an original O2 ROM to get back to would be fantastic!
I just got one of these beautys today... I am new to the whole flashing scene etc but I am following the tutorials on how to capture the rom
I'll keep you guys posted
Thanks,
Colin Jensen
I'm watching this thread with great anticipation
Anyone else out there have an XDA Stellar and the confidence to extract the ROM?
Don get what you guys are talking about? you want original ROMs?
the cooked ones I ahev tested incl quentins, most of duttys, alex's, jacks etc are lightyears ahead!
you dont know what forum you are on if you consider the original ROM to be a better alternative!
It's good to have the original ROM to flash back to e.g. for returns.
I have a particular interest in this ROM, since I think it will fix my Kaiser (which is an O2 XDA Stellar). See my thread here.
I dumped my Xda Stellar's ROM before I flashed it. (four .raw files yes?)
If you want a ROM from it, I'll make one if you give me instructions Not looked into making my own ROM's at all, so a simple step by step will do!
Sorry all ive been side tracked by house renovations so havent done much past dumping it, i have bugged the myxda guys a few times and was told that they may release teh release rom this month if i get a mo ill go through the steps to remake this into a rom as i too woudl like to play with new roms with teh option to return back if i need to warrenty replace
OK I have the RAW files I dont really know what to do with them but if somebody could make them into a working rom so I could flash back with them I would love you all forever... as I am not really 100% confident in making a rom out of the files
I will upload the other 2 parts to a webserver as they are huge in size

Good work mate! I think the instructions you're looking for now are in this thread.
This seems good place to post this question to stella owners...
Who has upgraded the radio?
To what version?
Does it simlock the phone to O2 (i have tmob sim in currently)
Thanks
Ben

Hello, From The 13th September 2011 - All of my ROMS for the HTC ChaCha will be under the LightDroider name and I have discontinued CAMDroid + TweetDroid. I can no longer provide support for these ROMS and have no intention to do so. If you need a ROM use LightDroider. Thank You for using this ROM and it is time to update if you are still using it.
TechMayhem
Rom available for download now. Enjoy and report any bugs back to 'chacha general threads'.

S-OFF-ROOT-CWM-ROM image zip on sd card-boot to recovery-enter CWM-the rest is self-explanatory.
The worlds quickest flashing guide there! (spot on of course)
Sent from my Chacha
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has problems with the ROM could they please list their issues here - so i can repair them, I currently have S-ON (end of this week will have S-OFF) and I do ROM tests on my friends HTC ChaCha (which is S-OFF), unfortunately I can not keep asking him for his handset.
So who's tried it and please provide some feedback - thanks.
If I'll manage to get some time off tomorrow I'll do a backup of mine then install this one and test it as much as possible. Is that ok?
Yes that will be brilliant - thank you
Has anyone seen a Telus version rom floating around for the One S? I'll apologize now if this is the wrong section to post this!
The thread for RUUs is over there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543588
If its not listed, PM the OP, I know he have that RUU. He will maybe ask for a donation but you will get it in matter of hours
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
Did you have any luck with this after?
The only links I can find to a TELUS RUU for the Ville are to filefactory (where I have to sign up for a $12/month subscription) or a dropbox file that doesn't work to restore my phone.
If you could hook me up with a link that would be stellar.

Telus ruu
I don't have a stock RUU for the HTC One S for Telus but you can download [ROM][S4] Android Sense Best Stock v3.0 | Jelly Bean | Sense 4+ | BEST JB from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2065357 and it will get your phone up and operating. This is BehradGH Rom Series and here's a big thank you for your work.
I had no operating system at all on my phone and I'm not going to tell you how that happened.
I went into recovery and mounted the SD card. I put the zip file in the TWRP Backup folder and ran it from there. I had trouble rebooting but when I read the directions and flashed the boot image from the ROM and then rebooted, it booted and everything went well and I'm using the phone now.

This site has a lot of RUUs, including a couple of Telus ones:
http://www.androidruu.com/index.php?developer=Ville
Because no one seems to do it I was forced to work by myself and I managed to upgrade the phone to Android 2.2.
I wrote detail article with direct link downloads for the ROM file and the flasher. They are direct downloads no ads or such.
I also have all Firmwares for all Alcatel phones, but they are about 11Gb so I'll upload them in the next few days.
the tutorial is little big, but I was trying to be more precise so everyone can understand me.
Thanks.

Thanks for the info, a guy was asking to me if he could update his phone to 2.2 and he will be pleased of hear: yes you can! =D
What about performance of 2.2 on this phone, is it good. Do you need OC? Is all working like on the original 2.1 rom?
Thanks again!

The performance is BETTER then the stock ROM because a lot of unnecessary apps provided by alcatel are deleted and left only the important one. I made this upgrade for mu sister's phone and I can say it is running with no problem. Everything works, GPS, WiFi, GPRS. All is normal.
I am happy because it is at least 2.2. Android 2.1 is prehistoric, there is even no Google Play store upgrade for it.
Need complete ROM files
Can someone upload the complete ROM and share the link? I want to make a similar ROM for Spice MI 270 based on MT6516. My phone has android 2.2 but does not support adb currently.
Please upload system.bin, boot.img, recovery.img and others if possible.
Thanks!
Holy Batman it's a very old thread I know!!
Would someone be kind enough to upload the tutorial and the files. I would be grateful...
Thank you.

Hi, I just bought Alcatel 890d a couple of weeks ago. It comes with Android 2.2 out of the box. Is it possible to upgrade it to the newer Android version? Also, could you please give me the TWRP/CWM img file for this phone that I can flash using Flashify? Please. I really need it so bad.
