do i have to do any more settings or copy or make any new temp folders reflash. my loud speaker now rattles after installing the restore isp cingular file along with 2 others offered by another thread. and not sure if it installed a new ringer super loud and alarm super loud that i believe it busted the actual speaker it rattles now or it it came with the new rom....so i want to revert to the oem att rom and i want to make sure if there are any more things needed to be done before i call them for a warranty exchange. my tricolor screen reads after i installed the new rom....cant remember the name at work now, but something with touchflo wwe att ....sorry

For future reference it would help to read the FAQs, Wiki, and the "inconspicuously" named sticky thread "Updated: Reverting back to the AT&T or HTC ROM and SPL for Warranty or return", which despite the title, provides instructions and download likes to revert back to the AT&T ROM.
I thought that "Think/Search before posting" was common sense by now.

it's also a common sense to look at the time/date of the original post !!!
compare this original to the thread you've just mentioned with "edited time" and guess what ??? YOU'd just being a smartass on a 2 months old thread !!

I was thinking the same thing as perdurabo2. Sure glad I didn't post it first. Such a tongue lashing for directing the user to the correct thread.
And it's not two months old. The last post on that thread was this afternoon, not two months ago.
Besides, if it worked two months ago why wouldn't it work today?

THIS thread is being 2 months old !!! .. hence, the tongue lashing because the solution didn't come till AFTER ( the other thread --->> check the edited time ! )
HE (Perdurabo2) was actually being smarty pants to the original poster's post ( the question for help IS 2 months old !! )

Hi,
Are they original Rom from AT&T, I have to send my phone back for warrenty replacement and they asked me if I installed some thing else on it or not so pls help me to put back AT&T original ROM

i did copy and paste and typed it on a my tilt the same way it pasted on my notebook. the underscore between the "GULAR" and "WWE" is what threw it off.

also I just got back from the same corporate att store where i bought the phone and i was one day short of 30 days, so i did a exchange. straight out new one for my busted speaker one......
however...i did call HTC and asked them if my warranty is void since i installed the HTC TYTN II rom onto the ATT TILT along with kaiser tweek.
they told me that the warranty is for harddware problems and no support would be given by HTC if i installed a third party rom.
i actually installed
Dutty's NewBuild Rom N0.6 +NETCF 3.5 AT&T

I am sorry, but i am stupid on this is that rom still the HTC TYTN II rom? but modified.
I did not tell them that I installed Dutty's. But they were okay with me changing out the ATT TILT ROM vesrion for the HTC TYTN II rom. the guy even said it was better that ATT rom version. especially that kaiser tweek. thanks for all those links i was able to download and install.........
now here is the biggest question. I know posses a virgin ATT TILT with that said. Does anybody know how to extract the rom image from the tilt for myself and someone instruct me how to upload it to a site for everyone else to have and flash back if needed. I will wait patiently till the new year before i put back the other rom on it or sooner if someone helps me out.
i am new to the forum experiece so please and thank you all for being patient with me. and sorry if i caused any any grief

T-mobile Mda Vario Iii Rom

Alright ... I'm looking for the T-Mobile Shipped ROM untouched ofcourse.
(This entire category s so poluted with threads that have been repeated 50 times that now when I need to find a thread that deals with my concern, good luck if it exists. and guess what people who do read now have to take the chance of missing threads do to bad search results because people also post unrelated information in the thread)

Simply put, there is not one available at this time. If you want to try the T-Mobile one in pretty much its complete form (untouched) then download the reconstructed ROM and flash it.

Yea I forgot to save it and wanted it in case I ever had to send it back to the UK for repairs.

I dumped mine pretty much as soon as pof released the procedure and i had barely anything installed (not that it matters as the image is of the original) so you are more than welcome to download my copy of the T-Mobile RAW files (Part00-03)
I have a reconstructed T-Mobile .nbh (normal & bigstorage) file but as yet haven't had the balls to test it

Hi... this may sound right stupid... but I am in the same boat.
I too have the T-Mobile UK version.... and wish to flash some of the newly 'streamlined' roms done by the great Ramsey Cooks of XDA...

I need to know if this file posted by you jcespi2005 is A T-mobile version that has the Extended Rom, Normal storage and all the other crap that will put it back to the crappy slow overweighted rom that T-mobile UK ship. including their configs and stuff.
I only need to know... as i may in the future pass this phone on ..and want to put it back to stock.
If i need to save my rom after a reset, i will do whatever needed.. but just need hand holding through it.

Tilt rom advice please

Hi guys, I have an HTC Diamond running Mighty Mike's 3.7 custom rom. My friend has an AT&T Tilt, and I would like to help her get a custom rom running. Since I don't own the device, I can't do any testing.
I was wondering if one of you Kaiser gurus might be able to recommend a solid custom rom for the Tilt so that I might be able to help her out.

If you only want a solid experience I recommend the official WM6.1 rom update. It is what I use after countless flashes from almost all chefs.

you have to move on buddy, dont get stuck in the past...WM6.0 is outdated..
true there were some issues in WM6.1 but the newer roms have been really nice...
as for the guy who started this thread...i hope you did some reading on flashing spl and/or security unlocking your friend's tilt before you play around with custom roms...

Dude I use Solace v2 (not the RC Series its not ready yet), Its the fastest and most stable 2d rom I've ever flashed. And I flash very new rom that is posted but seem to go right back to old faithful Solace v2. Its not flashy but it works with no issues I've put everything on it. I hope this helps.

i have only had my tytn 2 for about 3 weeks now and did the upgrade to wm6.1 on the HTC website so it is a new rom and it made my phone slow .i had no appz installed only the ones that came with the rom

How to RMA a phone with a cooked ROM?

My Touch Pro seems to have a fault so I need to RMA it, probably straight to HTC (suspect I'll have difficulties with the shop I bought it from) so I figure I need to flash it back to a stock HTC ROM. One problem is I bought it here in Spain so it had a Spanish ROM before but I don't see one available on the wiki.
So I have a few of questions:
1. Is there any legit way I might have flashed my TP to a WWE ROM that HTC wouldn't disapprove of?
2. Are the ROMS here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs the same as regular cooked ROMs in terms of how you go about installing them?
3. Can I remove HardSPL? Do I need to?

Oh also... Can anyone recommend a very plain ROM for Touch Pro? I don't know how to install the plain WM6 ROMS on the wiki so I'd like to test with something as close to a stock ROM as possible just to try to rule out the possibility my fault is actually a ROM issue
(I get lockups when playing audio *and* clicking around between apps. The phone is stable when there's no audio running, and if audio is running and I'm not doing anything else it's also stable, it seems to be the combination that's a problem)

Can't you download one of the official ROMs from HTC directly? If you're going to be sending it to them, as long as there's an official ROM on it, it shouldn't matter.

I didn't realise they provided them actually. But there don't seem to be any on their site for the TP.

Thanks. My phone was bought in Spain though so I think I need a Spanish stock ROM. I just found one in the Raphael ROMs forum though hurrah!

Incredible that this phone is still alive so much. I have got it more that 5 years now. Still working great, even with original battery. Htc must take that into account when designing new phones.
