What video are you guys referring to working or not on newer gb leaks? Like the HDMI out video? IR like flash video?!
I just went with one of the newer leaks and now the videos on beetle.com don't play. Didn't know if it was related to the rom or kernel I have.

You need to flash a stock gingerbread kernel to enable video playback.
EDIT: All videos like YouTube or on phone videos won't play without the stock kernel.

I am on kernel supplied in gtg's 2.2.1. Tried out Infusion kernels for some time. Never had an issue with video playback. Only thing missing was HDMI out.

That's Rogers Gingerbread. It's different from our leaks.

Oh, and the earlier leaks were just fine. I think this issue first showed up in the KK leaks.

Can someone post the APK? I'm running into a problem with a few app that say "your phone isn't compatible with this app" after flashing the Humblecomb 4.0 ROM

You might want to look at editing your build.prop file. Not sure if that is your problem though

I wouldnt know where to begin on that one.
I can flash CWM/ODIN and some basic troubleshooting. that's my extent of fixing this.
Try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/ha5oh/root_how_to_edit_your_buildprop_to_make_netflix/
That is a guide on how to get Netflix to work and it may be helpful with your problem. Otherwise try clearing data on the Market and uninstalling updates to the Market. If you uninstall the updates to the Market it will automatically update to the newest version again.

Any way to mirror the display with an app, I'm having a hard time finding info on this topic.
Running aokp ics build 35 with latest harsh OC kernel. Would be nice to watch some movies over hdmi

I think the consensus is no for ics, is that correct? In that case, is there any way to boot a separate, more stock ROM without having to flash?
Thank you for your time.

Youtube video not playing and camcorder not recording.
GINGERBREAD.UCLB3
any ideas?
Hello - Anyone?
Just plain stock uclb3? Have you flashed any kernels recently?
Patience...some people were sleeping like my self

Do you have the Twitter app installed? That used to kill video, but i assumed it was fixed because i haven't heard about it in awhile.
No Twitter - just stock....maybe i froze something i shouldn't have in titanium backup? used hiedamall to flash srock gb - then rooted. Camera locks up periodically to.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
So even when restored you still get camera lock ups? And that's with no modifications/freezing apps? When restored do YouTube videos atleast work again?
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using xda app-developers app
The only thing i did after restore was root - and yes i did freeze a couple apps.
Youtube no video shows - camcorder does not work - and camera app occassionally freezes.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda app-developers app
try unfreezing all apps, then rebooting...see if that helps, if it does can you list the apps you froze?
I'll try unfreezing all apps overnight - i have a feeling I'll be backing up and restoring again. I'll detail my findings tomorrow. Thx.

you are prolly running on the older infusion kernel that doesn't support video.
1. flash entropy's latest or zen's kernels to fix the video
2. use jscott's rooted uclb3 with the kernel included

I tried jscott's ublc3 - downloaded YouTube and that locked it up and made it start acting goofy. Trying zen's a16 now

So for android 2.0 and above there was "Adobe Flash Player11" you could download and easily use from the google play store, but there no longer supporting above android 4.0. any other way to get flash player for the browser?
Read The Description:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer&hl=en
It's not really a huge deal. You can still install it, they're just not supporting it

it still doesnt work though cause i got paranoid android build 8 and its running android 4.0.4 so kinda is somewhat of a problem...
Flash even on gb can be buggy, so in a unofficial ics expect it to be worse.
Just go back to gb if it's a huge problem
