Hi all, Do any one have old tv ot TV animation for lock scree.
Like it will show TV animation while locking your screen.
i've looked into what i think your asking about "like the animation of a tv turning off when you lock your screen (like the nexus)" anyway the closest ive been able to find is a down animation that does the green andro gears then a staticy screen which turns off like a tv... i found it on youtube... searched htc sensation down animations....

Just flash a custom rom. A lot give you the crt animation option.

u can get the Tv animation from screen on/off lock app from market with more options.

I don't think it does, but to be honest I cannot think when my sensation is not plugged in

Does anyone know how to change just the lock screen image on the Captivate? I know on Sense UI you go to set a wall paper you choose to set the lock or home screen.
Does anyone know a hack or work around on the captivate? I don't like having pictures as a background on the phone (doesn't work well with 7 screens) however I want my daughters picture for my lock screen.

I would love to set a different image for my lockscreen than my wallpaper.

Sorry to dig this thread up, but has anybody had any luck with this? I tried both LockBot and Lock 2.0 and while they do the trick, the consistently fail to activate fast enough. The stock lock screen is instantaneous, while these aftermarket apps have a delay between when you turn the phone on to when the app locks the phone.
I'm sure everyone has by now seen the cool animation that Gingerbread uses when the screen is turned off. What if the same animation was played in reverse when turning the screen on? Is such a thing even possible? To me it does seem a bit strange that this animation is only played when turning the screen off, because real CRT's used to do the same thing both when turning on and turning off.
If it is possible, I'd love to see it implemented. Further on down the line as an added bonus, I also think it'd be cool to replace the animation for launching or closing an app with a CRT style flicker, similar to what happened when you changed the channel on an old TV.
Edit: Looks like most custom ROMs are already way ahead of me for the screen on animation. Good work!

Okay, that's cool that CM7 has it. What about other CRT style animations for the transitions? Something similar to the Pip Boy 3000 from Fallout 3 would be awesome.

I think he/she meant lies in that it is cool, as in so cool he turned the screen on and off repeatedly to watch it.

[BUG] No CRT Lock animation if "Window Transition" in Spare Parts is "Fast"
I don't think I can be much more clear than the title. I just installed Apex 6.4, and went to change the speed of the phone's animations to how I like them using the Spare Parts app. Now, I can set the Transition Animation to however I like with no ill effects. However, changing the "Window Animation" causes the CRT-Off animation to stop working whenever you lock the phone.
I realize this is a terribly minor issue, but I didn't find the Spare Parts thread, and I apologize if this is in the wrong section
and the screen on effect will be affected by the transition speed.....

Your problem is that the animation for screen off only works at one speed. If you change the speed it no longer will work right. That app was made before the animation was added so it might not work with it. So you can either leave them or lose the screen off.
I changed the speeds to "fast" and lost the animation.
I wondered how i lost that feature. Thanks!
Hi, I have a HTC Droid Incredible and I am now running CM7 and I love everything about it. but, I would like to improve my experience my changing different things. for example the Lock screen delay is way to short. I am talking about when you press the power button and just look at the lock screen for the time or whatever. my question is, is there anyway to make it longer than the 3 seconds that its set on now?
Another thing I realized that you could have different wallpapers for just the lock screen and your default. I was hoping there was a way to make the lock screen wallpaper a live wallpaper while the default something different. Is there any way of doing this? I ask this because i have a weather LWP that tells me what the weather is on my lock screen but i don't like it as my default wallpaper.

Hi all, I'm new to rooting and customizing my Xoom, and recently installed cyanogenmod - and so far I love it.
A while ago I met someone with an HTC phone who was also running cyanogenmod9 but he had this awesome lock screen animation, like a CRT TV being turned off, with the image shrinking down to a white dot.
I'd love to put it on my Xoom. Has anyone seen this? Can anyone help? I have no idea how to do customization
like this.

So I found this app Screen Off and Lock which appears to do the trick, although when using it in my zoom the display dims too early and you can't really see the effect.
Anyone noticed this before?
