[Q] Fonts/Returning Phone - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys, posted in the DX forum but no one has hit so I figured I'd give it a try here.
I rooted my phone few months back and used Font Installer to change my fonts on my phone. Well, my phone is acting up and I have to send it in for a warranty replacement, so I've ran Pete's Tool and unrooted but my fonts are still the same I changed them to. So, I went to recovery and wiped data, but the fonts are still the same as I changed them to.
Has anyone ever had this situation before? I know Verizon is gonna throw a red flag at me when they notice the fonts are different than stock....
Thanks for any help that can be given.

Thread moved to Q&A due to it being a question. Would advise you to read forum rules and post in correct section.

Need to wipe out Thunderbolt (It is presently rooted)

I accidentally posted this in Q&A but really wanted to post it in the General section.
I sold my Thunderbolt today and am delivering it in the morning.
What is the simplest way to delete my data whether it is rooted (presently) or unrooted.
I was never very good programming/updating the firmware so experienced lots of problems.
Please try to keep the instructions simple....
Thanks in advance.

[Q] zte v970m (mt6577)

hey guys, i've joined the forums to customize my v970m. apparently i cannot post on the dev section.
bruno's guide includes repartitioning the internal nand, i want to do that.
my question is once i flash is there a way to revert all settings back to the wait it was? for let's say, if something bad happens, i can still go for the warranty on the phone??
i mean i'm not loading a new ROM or anything..
thanks.
You're not even close to the correct forum buddy.

Should change your name to wh3resmyforum.
I don't hold out many hopes for the likes of ZTE if that guy is representative of the 1% tech savvy end of their user base ...

I lost my imei when flashing stock rooted rom

im sorry if this is the wrong place to post...but the other parts of this forum dont get enough traffic.

any other way i can get my imei restored even though i dont have a backup?? thanks in advancee
maybe this thread can help others with similar issues
So..
You ignored the installation and the forum instructions... ok.
I highly recommend the box at the top labeled "search".
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801997
Good luck with that.

maybe this thread can help others with similar issues (I am too lazy to use the search function, therefore I'm special and MUST be the first person EVER to have this problem. You're kinda obligated to help me, no?)

Fixed it for you.
Thread reported to be moved. Many of us worked really hard to get a forum for this device, so I'm sorry if I sound a little peeved when I see CRAP like this in the dev section.
DO NOT post a thread in development unless you are developer posting work
Questions go in Q&A!
Thread moved

I can understand why you would be peeved. But i used the search function. and found multiple ways of solving my problem. But none of which worked for me.
I was installing paid apps in other tutorials to try and fix my imei issue, and ended up with deadend after deadend. and furthermore..most of the guides werent specific to my phone. I didnt want to make my phone a "superbrick". I knew better than to post in the dev section...but i acted purely out of fustration and desperation. the user "orange808" was kind enough to point me in the right direction.
i know that doesnt justify it...but it wont happen again! i apologize
I appreciate all the devs hard work on this phone.

[Q] Unroot Asus ME127V?

Hey everyone, I apologize in advance for my ignorance here. Mods, I searched for this to the best of my limited ability, and I don't think this exact thing is covered elsewhere (and I can't post in the Developers forums with a new account). If I'm mistaken and this is addressed, or if this is not the right place for this question, I apologize--please move it accordingly.
I have an ASUS ME127V which I rooted and installed Clockworkmod Recovery following the guides here in the Dev forums (this was about a year ago, so things may have changed in the interim).
Recently I've become aware of the SSL issues with Android 4.1.1, so I'd like to restore my tablet to stock and upgrade my Android version, but unfortunately I'm just coming up short every time I try to do this. I've tried the AMPC beta app that's linked to in the dev forum, but haven't managed to get it to work, partly because I'm not certain what other files I need.
Can anybody point me toward a simple step-by-step for unrooting/removing CWM/returning to stock?
Thanks for your help and patience.

[Q]Theming Issues, need help

Hey folks.
I thought I would pop a quick question and though this is a development thread, I apologize first if my post is a bit Off topic.
Basically, I would like to know if anyone had success trying to theme any apks on the Android L GPE. I'm having a nightmare and cannot manage to get any apk successfully pushed and showing up. Is as though nothing happens. I'm not sure if there is something that I need to do first such as edit the services.jar or something.
Thanks
Case Closed...........
Android L is going to be tough...
