I'm running the GingerBeast 2.1.2 AOSP ROM and have an issue with not being able to download anything on my phone. I've never had the issue before with any other ROM's. I flashed another ROM a few minutes ago and downloads work fine, so it appears to be isolated to the GingerBeast ROM for me. Haven't seen it mentioned in the thread so not sure if anyone else is having the issue or knows a way to fix?
Probably should clarify that when I say can't download, I mean that when I go to download any files I get a notification "Download Unsuccessful". I can browse the internet, etc. just fine.... just can't download anything to my phone.

Search function......
Clear Delvik, Clear Cache, reflash rom.
I actually know how to use the search function but thanks. Can you show me a post that comes up when you search this issue that resolves my problem? I format /cache, format /data, format/system, wipe dalvik cach, and wipe data/factory reset every time I flash a new ROM.
I think this question would be better suited for the gingerbeast thread as dilligaf views it quiet often.

Completely agree. Unfortunately XDA doesn't let you post in the DEV section unless you've got 10+ posts is the message I got when I tried. Guess I could just respond back to this post a few more times randomly and get over that 10+ post limit.

I'd also like to verify if anyone else is having the same issue or if it's just me... I think this post puts me at 10 so i'll go ahead and post in that forum for the group.

Just wipe Cache and Delvik and re-flash, its fixed it for others.... ... I did not say You should wipe Delvik and cache before you install roms. Then again, if you would have searched I wouldn't have said anything....

I just flashed the "[2.3.6] Super Stock (AT&T Skyrocket)" ROM. I did do wipe data and cache. Now I am getting Force Close when I go into Settings->Call->Call Rejection, Set Reject Messages, Call Alert, Call answering/ending
Is there a fix for this? Others have also experienced this.

That corresponding APK could be missing from the ROM, just as a first fix have you tried to wipe the Dalvik cache as well?

You don't need to bump your post every hour because you haven't gotten an answer yet. Not everyone is on at the same time.
Far as a solution:
First, have you cleared the cache and data for the market app and you still get the same error?
Are you running a ROM - If so, did you dirty flash(just wipe cache and flash the zip) or did you do a full wipe?(factory reset + Davlik cache)
If not running a ROM try to clear your cache anyways via CWM or TWRP see if that helps.

I did everything except clear cache for market. How do i do that?
Go to 'Manage Apps' in settings then click the market. There you'll see four options; force stop, uninstall, clear data, clear cache. Clear the data and the cache. This will make you agree to the TOS again but may solve your problem.

try reinstalling rom and rewiping everything again?
Do you have a directory called "LOST.DIR" on your sdcard that's ridiculously big? If you do, you can delete it - it's essentially the 'Recycle Bin' of Linux.
Also, try removing ALL your google accounts from the phone then clearing the market cache like mentioned above and then add your google accounts back. This is a fix for a different market problem but may work on this one as well.

I'm out of ideas then. Re-flash your ROM after doing a full wipe see if that fixes it. If not try a different or stock ROM.

Hi, recently my front camera has stopped working, with no apparent reason. I have tried clearing the data / cache for the camera so but that hasn't made a difference. I am currently running a rooted, stock rom.
Has anyone got any ideas why this may be happening?
Thanks in advance

Do a data factory reset or reflash the stock image or RMA/Repair Centre. Those are the options, good luck bro

Try to flash system.img in fastboot again, wipe the caches after that and reboot. Hope that helps.
