ROM works great except everytime I open gallery error message "not enough memory" appears. Preloaded music is unable to be erased either. Installed Clean ROM three times. Wiped data and Dalvik, still no help. Any ideas?

Hmm. This issue seems to be popping up a lot these last few weeks. It seems that sometimes flashing CleanROM can corrupt/shrink your internal sdcard. You can try formatting it in CWM.

Clean ROM - sgrant
The ROM has been up for awhile. Its sgrants "Clean ROM". I wiped every data option avail multiple times. scrosler - I do not think I am refering to your ROM. This was the very first ROM avail for Tab 2. And i have also ran across two people that shinked there internal storage to 2gb. Any one test with same issues yet?

Thank you! Worked for me as well
How did you figure that out?
It seems when you flashed the ROM, it corrupted your internal storage and made it either appear full to the tab or become read-only.
Posted from my Galaxy Tab with CM10
Had anyone got this error before? Is there a fix? I got 7gb left of internal storage so this shouldn't be happening.

You don't need to bump your post every hour because you haven't gotten an answer yet. Not everyone is on at the same time.
Far as a solution:
First, have you cleared the cache and data for the market app and you still get the same error?
Are you running a ROM - If so, did you dirty flash(just wipe cache and flash the zip) or did you do a full wipe?(factory reset + Davlik cache)
If not running a ROM try to clear your cache anyways via CWM or TWRP see if that helps.

I did everything except clear cache for market. How do i do that?
Go to 'Manage Apps' in settings then click the market. There you'll see four options; force stop, uninstall, clear data, clear cache. Clear the data and the cache. This will make you agree to the TOS again but may solve your problem.

try reinstalling rom and rewiping everything again?
Do you have a directory called "LOST.DIR" on your sdcard that's ridiculously big? If you do, you can delete it - it's essentially the 'Recycle Bin' of Linux.
Also, try removing ALL your google accounts from the phone then clearing the market cache like mentioned above and then add your google accounts back. This is a fix for a different market problem but may work on this one as well.

I'm out of ideas then. Re-flash your ROM after doing a full wipe see if that fixes it. If not try a different or stock ROM.

Dang, i really dont wanna reflash.
Alright went to a backup i had of this rom and everything seems to be fine now, i installed KT Kernel last night and then today i had the problem. Do you think the kernel had something to do with it?
Hi, Guys,
I'm using P5110, with CM 9.
Everything was fine at the beginning, but din't know since when, it takes forever to uninstall any app, taking more than 10 minutes in many cases.
Sometimes, rebooting the tab would help to get the app uninstalled, but it is ridiculous to do so every time before uninstalling apps.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks!

Hi, Jxt,
Thanks for your attention.
The rom I am on is: [4.0.4] CyanogenMod 9, downloaded from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722099
Yes, my tab is rooted.
Hope it won't require complete system re-flashing rom, 'cause when thinking of flashing rom and installing, setting all the apps, it drives me mad.

I've just wiped cache, but sorry it doesn't work, problem remains.
Anything else to try?
P.S.
I've installed FREE MY APPS before, and therefore, have install/uninstall many apps on this tab, but months ago, I've stopping doing this and removed all the staff, including FREE MY APPS.
Maybe during that period, some mess was done to the system?

I assume you are trying to uninstall from your Setting/Apps.
What happens if you log into the Playstore App and try to uninstall apps from there?

Problem finaly solved wihout having to reflash rom, or even switch rom!
All credit goes to a miracle app: SDmaid !
After trying wiping cache, and using several apps to clean the trash files (some tools did clean hundred MB of trash files) without any help, I tried SDmaid.
It further cleaned out tons of trash files, and right after that, it takes only few seconds to uninstall apps, work like charm!

I flashed cyanogenmod 13 and gapps for marshmallow (from 6.12.2015) and it boots fine. All apps are installed, as before the update.
BUT
When I start any of these apps they seem to be reset to default as if they are newly installed. For example Threema starts setup process after start.
App data is still present on internal storage (did not wipe), but apps do not seem to have access to any of this data.
Can anyone help what I can try to get the apps back to work with previous data?
Thankful for any help!
Greets
Daniel
At first, try flashing CM13 after a full wipe or try using another rom since CM13 could be buggy.

Thanks for the reply! But well, the phone is working, just the apps are behaving as if they are newly installed ... So a full wipe would not really help as is only deletes more data. The question is why do the apps "think" they are not already set up?

Full ACK, but data is still available on the internal storage, but the apps do not notice this?
AND this one here (not allowed ot post links... so a missing w at the beginning ww.cyanogenmod.org/blog/a-marshmallowy-cm) says dirty flash from 12.1 to 13 is okay and if the cyanogenmod updater shows cm13 as availabe for update ...
EDIT: Maybe this was a missing info, but it was "just" a normal update via cyanogenmod updater, not a real flash of a new rom!

What do you want me to say? It's always better to full wipe when upgrading to a new Android version. Period.
Moreover, CM13 nightlies are buggy. There are important bugs and fixes everyday. Make a nandroid backup and try from scratch or try another nightly or another custom rom. There's nothing else to say IMO.

Just thought it could be possibly just a permission problem, a missing symlink or anything else that could be fixed manually.
