[Q] samsung galaxy pro GTB7510 in boot loop - General Questions and Answers

hello everyone.
this is my first thread here..
actually im in a lot of trouble.
need URGENT HELLLPPPP!
PLEASE.
i have a rooted samsung galaxy pro gt b7510 with stock rom.
today i just replaced all my system fonts with a custom one via rom toolbox app. it said to restart after installing font, so i gave it superuser permissions and bang my phone FROZE!
SO I have to restart it by holding power button and after reboot it just freezes in samsung starting screen..
i rebooted in recovery mode and did a hard factory reset but it again freezes in startup screen.
so what to do now..
any help will be greatly appreciated..

did you do a full wipe and reflashed the custom rom in recovery? you should do a nandroid everytime you try to switch system settings like that.

no i dont have a nandroid backup.
and i did a hard reset via recovery mode.
i downloaded a stock rom for galaxy pro from internet and pasted it in my sd card root as update.zip(its name was gtb7510ddkc4 something in rar format so i extracted it and renamed it as update.zip)
then i powered on my phone on recovery mode and applied the option apply sdcard:update.zip
but it stops and gives error(ie, it doesnt install that rom)
wat should i do now?????
should i try download mode??
i dont know anything bout it, so please explain in detail.........
also know that my phone powers on and gets stuck in the starting samsung screen. so i have to pull the battery out to switch it off.
PLEASE PLEASE, HELP ME IN RECLAIMING MY ANDROID!!!!
ofcourse i'll be grateful.

ok so i started android system recovery mode.
and i did wipe data/factory reset
and i also did wipe cache partition
and then,
i did apply sdcard:update.zip
BUT,
i get this message,
E:can't mount SDCARD:update.zip
installation aborted.
so whats the solution to this?

[Q] Need help installing ROM on Nexus S

Hello,
It's my first time trying to install a ROM in my Nexus S. I think I screwed it a little bit.
Now, I have ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0 installed and that's it. When I try to reboot to mount the USB to put the zip files in SD Card, nothing happens and it stays on a black screen. I think I wipe all the OS on it by doing "Wipe data/factory reset". I thought it would put it back to factory Google version.
I unlocked the phone and installed ClockworkMod. I wanted to put the SU on it and backup the OS first in case I would like to roll back but I guess I did something wrong.
What can I do now ?
Buy a new phone ? I hope not !
Thanks for the help

I understand if flashing via odin is the final result will bootloop but do not panic because I never felt well and the way out is someone to pull out the battery, let sit a few seconds, replace the battery and then go into stock recovery mode, wipe data and cache ... reboot, try to see the results ...
Hope you can help ...

[Q] How can I boot back into my OS?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 GT-S6500. Its rooted and have CWM based recovery installed via ODIN-PDA.
It does not have terminal installed. Yesterday I downloaded a software name Quick Boot (root) from google play market and its icon is purple in colour. i downloaded such software because i wanted some apps like that to ease me in booting to other mode. So after installing i tried using it. So i tried the recovery mode button. it asked for SU permission and after i allowed it, it boot into CWM based recovery and i was very happy as i though it was a working app. But now, i restarted the phone millions of time but it just keep booting into the recovery mode again instead of booting back into the samsung android os. :'( i read and tried so called cold-boot but no hope, tried wipe factory data and wipe cache and wiped delvik cache from the recovery but still no hope. anyone can please help me? :''''''(

[Q] Guys Please Help Me

actually what happened is....i have spice stellar mi-425....it was running fine....today i installed a font using rom toolbox pro....and after instaling it told me to restart the phone....i did the same
after restarting the boot screen appears for once and then the phone gets off.....please help me what should i do?
do i need to install the rom again? :'(
Hi mrinalsoni1,
I'm also quite new here but have been working with roms for a while now...
Did you root your phone? - If you have and also have the option to reboot to recovery, then:
Flashing a rom doesn't necessary mean to delete all your settings and data. This happens only when you wipe. So I'd make a backup (just in case) and then reflash the rom.
In case you have to wipe, try to restore your data with the "advanced restore" option. I hope this works out for you.
Try to install the ROM again. I think your phone got stuck at boot loop!

[Q] Cannot reboot system from Clockworkmod Recovery(Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 GT-S6500D)

Cannot reboot system from Clockworkmod Recovery
Hello, my phone detected that there is an update then i click the update after that it told me to confirm for reboot my phone enter CWM recovery then I clicked on reboot system now. It showed the Samsung Logo and the Splashscreen, but then enters the CWM recovery. I also tried pulling out the battery and then pushing the power button, but it still boots into CWM recovery. Any help? It looks like my phone got messed up and I can only use it in CWM recovery. Help is much appreciated. for everyone information i did root my phone a year ago.
So no problem at all.Wipe the data there and enter into mobile. It should work..
