Aug 2 2011,22:35:52
please help me if someone know how
best regards from Barcelona

i would suggest you to try this procedure on another pc. maybe on yours you have a conflict or something..

What guide did you follow?
As far as I know the procedure is to uninstall sync, install the mentioned drivers from the guide, set usb debug on, fastboot off and there you go?
Tried all this?
O, btw, did you try to s-off or s-on the phone? Your boot is saying your phone is s-on now.

Que es exactamente lo que necesitas? S off o s on? Al parecer tu problema puede ser con htc sync, da mas de talles y tal vez te pueda ayudar
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using xda premium

I can resolve this problem, now i am s-on.
Mi problem was that htcsync is installed in computer, i has unistall in mobile but not has in vomputer, close htcsync in computer and revolucionary come go good.

Help to unlock...

Hello people! I´m Rodrigo from Brazil and my English is not very good.
I bought a HTC Touch Cruiser and I'm trying to unlock and am having difficulties.
First I downloaded the program PolarisUnlock. The first step worked ok but the second displays the error "error [226]: Flash Write and the process stops. The phone comes with 3 color screen, and you must run the first step of PolarisUnlock to have the phone working again.
Can anyone help me?
Phone Information:
WM 6.1
ROM: 3.16.514.0 PTB
Data: 09/22/08
Radio: 25.111.40.09H
3 Color screen informations:
Pola100 MFG
SPL-2.20.OliMex
CPLD-2
It seems to me that link you posted is for the Trinity and not for the polaris.
Take a look at this: Polaris Unlocker SIM e Hard-SPL
Your polaris has hard spl installed, just try re flashing image or flash your new rom.

Hi mmelo,
I followed the tip and at the last step the software displays a message that the phone is already unlocked, but on the phone display the following message appears:
"You don't appear to have flashed the radio, did something go wrong with step 2?"...
This question has no choice, only X to close the message window.
You know what can this happening?
Regards,
Rodrigo

Hi Meknb,
I perform installation of the ROM again but did not work.
Você conhece alguma ROM para me indicar?
Regards,
Rodrigo
this forum is awesome!
i´ve found that the radio Polaris_Radio_ROM_1.59.46.12 is compatible for downgrade!
After downgraded to this radio the step 2 and 3 of unlocker worked fine!
Now the cellphone is unlocked!!!

Cant see why not, anything you do in adb shell might as well be done on your phone. Might be easier to do the hexedit part on a computer though. And not sure if you need to unlock the bootloader again after changing CID, if so you'll need a computer for that.
I was thinking tonight to run the las ruu eu , and then unlock bootloader root it and put the trwp
Becouse i have some problems with wifi and also sometimes the 3g , the notifications apears when i turn on the screen but my hos having internet

[Q] How to root inspire 4G with Android 2.3.5

Hi. I recently updated my HTC inspire 4G from gingerbread 2.3.3 to 2.3.5. Is there any way to root it without having to downgrade? Any help would be greatly apreciated.
I think you could unlock the bootloader with HTCDEV, but even if you can I don't recommend it. AAHK just gives you a lot more options (with S-OFF and uprooting capabilities) and more control over your phone (more ROM choice).

thanks for your response. Why do you not recomened using HTCDEV? From what I've read and seen. the Ace AAHK requires that my phone be donwgraded and I don't want to go through that process. I'm trying to find a way to do root without donwgrading. Any suggestions? Is there and updated virson of AAHK that will do it?

Sometimes the best method requires a little more work. If you want to cut corners, I wish you luck. Otherwise bite the bullet and do it the right way.

HTCDEV unlock is detectable by HTC, even if you relock it later; AAHK can unroot without leaving a trace. Also, HTCDEV only allows you to use ROMs intended for your phone, so you can't use ported ROMs; AAHK lets you flash ported ROMs. HTCDEV requires you to flash the boot.img separately each time you flash a ROM; AAHK does not.
The method with downgrade IS the updated version. There is no version that lets you root 2.3.5 without downgrading.
Will add the disclaimer that the 3.20.502 build(2.3.5 for inspire) does require it to be HTC dev unlocked first, then a file is flashed then relocked. In order for the aahk to do its thing. HTC plugged up an exploit so this slightly more combersome method is needed.
Either way the aahk is the way to go
No puedo hacer Downgrade

You may be able to follow the information on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2169518 about downgrading, but probably unlikely since it is such an old device

Afaik the bricked phones ran the OTA update with super cid. They didn't flash any JB custom rom, which is what you want to do and which is sth different.
I personally ran the JB OTA twice and also having 11111111 (eight digits!) nothing got bricked.
Before doing anything check your present CID and your bootloader version. Seems that you're french so you already might have a 'good' cid. And please post the results here, so we can read them.
---edit---
oops, I forgot: Your bootloader is unlocked and you already have a custom recovery installed?
my phone was a vodap203 cid cid day I put the htc__203 and he never wanted to install a ruu naked so I installed a rom j then setting the custom super cid j've manages to flash the ruu 2.31 but when I start putting a day he does not want to install it tells me what day I like this change and therefore j I try this solution but without success so c's why I'm asking you to supercid

Change CID / MID [S-ON]

Hi There, I recently bought this HTC U11 Life in Telcel (Mexican Carrier), and looking for a method to change CID and MID in order to flash the USA Unlocked RUU, I saw this post...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-u11/development/to-modify-cid-mid-s-devices-t3771570
Thanks @handsome_hell
So I decided to do it...
Unlock Bootloader Check..
Flash Custom Recovery... Check...
When I tried to save the partition to the sd I encountered an error...
remote object '/dev/block/sde1' not a file or directory
figured out that it was a guide for U11 phones, so look forward to check partitons and change the "sde1" to mmcblk0p1 and search the Actual Carrier CID "HTC_332" so I changed it to Super CID... and flashed it, it's so easy!
CID:11111111
MID:2Q3F30000
Did you install the software version (android One)?
Did you install the software version (android One)? Usually the Telcel MID is the same as the unlocked and developer version, that's why only the CID is changed and you can install that

Good night, my friend. The truth is that I just bought a HTC U11 Life and is very nice, but it has Android 7.1.1 operator of course Peru, and I would like to install a stock ROM or Android one (more I lean towards the second option) I would appreciate very much if you know how to guide the steps to follow, was attentive to your communication, my WhatsApp number is +51 980 511 815

dd: /dev/block/mmcblk0p1: Permission denied
Guy's there is a much easier way to do it. Simply flash that zip. Ready to work on mid="2Q3F20000" with S-ON. Cheers
If i remember correctly

Mmcblk0p1 is strictly for usb_otg devices, so i assume there is something wrong with that method
Mmcblk1p1 - external_sd
Mmcblk0p1 - otg
Mmcblk0p47 - carrier partition
Mmcblk0p(**) - rest of partitions
** = any other nr of partition
