I recently flashed my motorola atrix 4g on bell using the Aura rom. Then I flashed the d00 kernel. After flashing both of these, I went on my phone and everything BUT my internet over 4g works for some reason... the facebook widget works, connecting to the internet over wifi works, and all other widgets that require 4g internet work. I can still even call and text. How can I fix this issue?
Fixed. If anyone else has this problem on there phone try downloding opera mini; worked for me

I've got a strange problem..
Last night my data connection to the app market suddenly stopped working and was giving me the "there was a network error" message. I figured it was just on Google's end and left it. This morning I'm getting the same error still, but additionally Facebook wont load, and the twitter widget from launcher pro plus wont refresh. Strangely, the GMail works normally, the browser works, the Google News+Weather app works and speedtest.net app still reports normal speeds of about 3Mbps up and 0.7 Mbps down.
Everything works on WiFi.
I'm using a i9020A running on Telus. I WAS using du5ter's Stock/deodexed/zipaligned ROM with Netarchy 1.3.4 with XXUCDK1 radio when it started up. I flashed XXKB3 and the problem persisted. Reflashed XXUCDK1 and then flashed infin1ty and still have the problem. I had the build.prop tweaks applied when it happened and have since removed them but to no avail. Activating airplane mode and turning it off had no effect. I've tried everything short of unrooting and rerooting to try and fix this.
The signal bars are green and I have 3g/H at all times.
Someone in the Desire forums is having the same issue, but I doubt they're related.
Anybody have any idea what's going on?
Edit: The desire thread has an update.. could just be an issue with the Telus network.

Hey everyone, I own a Nexus S (Rogers) and I've recently been having this issue where I can't browse without being connected to wi-fi. I have no problems texting, but I'm unable to browse or refresh my twitter app without being connected to wi-fi. I have a custom ROM installed, I'm using the KANGY ROM by Haka. Everythings been working fine up to this week so I don't know what the problem could be, I've even restored my APN settings to default and that didn't seem to work. Any solutions would be great. When I installed Lord's ICS Rom the WiFi is not working for a router at my workplace, it shows signal and connected but the browser does not loads pages, it is a wireless G router, i tried the same Rom in my home and the WiFi is great, I tried CM 7.2 too and had the same problem, I restore back to my current RCMix that work flawless. I also tried changing router channel but doesn't help.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried running the wifi fix app within the app list on lords rom? I'd give that a try and see

This problem just started yesterday and I don't know how to fix it. My Nexus S will connect to a wifi network but it will not receive or send any data, or sync up will the Google servers.
I tried a router reset and that didn't work, then I did a search on here and tried some of the suggestions but none of them worked either.
It is fine with 3g, but not wifi.
I'm running the latest cm9 stable, tried a clean install and that didn't work, I also tried restoring from my latest backup from a few days ago and that didn't work either.
Help would be much appreciated =)

I'm hoping someone knows how to resolve this: A few weeks ago I started having an issue with my GS3. I have my WiFi on and connected to my home network or work network. If I send or receive a picture message (MMS) or anything that requires Verizon's network, my phone connects to the 4G LTE (as it should), but then stays stuck with it displaying both the wifi and 4G LTE... This makes it so that my cell does not automatically download updates for apps etc which I have set to only download on wifi. This randomly started about 2 weeks ago. My GS3 was not rooted or anything... Verizon couldn't figure out how to fix it. I then tried rooting and loading a custom Rom (currently on CleanRom), and it is still doing this. What I've noticed on other people's GS3 or Galaxy Note 2, is that the phone will connect to 4G LTE to send/receive MMS but then the 4G icon disappears and the phones just show wifi. I tried searching on XDA and other sites but can't figure it out. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
I'd still appreciate it if anyone could help with this? Just wondering if that's an Android 4.1.2 thing or if it's just my phone? I have had this issue with the stock unrooted rom, with CleanRom, and with Hyperdrive Rom.... To sum up my post above, both the wifi and 4G icons show instead of just wifi showing like it used to do... Which in turn, does not let my apps auto update via wifi unless I manually update them or restart my phone. Attached is a screen shot.
