I found the Asus day scene wallpaper in another XDA post and was wondering if anyone got it working for the 10.1 Tab2. I flashed it fine but the wallpaper shows just a white screen.
Happy New Year to everyone as well
Sent from my Kanged Tab2
Reasons / Could be:
1. missing libs ( .so file for apk )
2. different resolution
3. chipset based ( for tegra only )
4. Modded apk ( badly )
I'm trying to install Accuweather widget on my Chinese phone Pomp W88A. It is a Odexed ROM with Touchwiz launcher. They have copied the Galaxy S4 ROM, with some minor changes. Now, there is no Accuweather Widget like on the S4 on my phone, and I would like to install it. I have tried many ported S4 Accuweather widgets from this forum, and I cant get them to work. I used Root explorer to put the files in the System and set the permissions to rw-r-r, and after I restart the phone, it shows that Android is upgrading, but after boot, when I look for the widgets, there is no Accuweather widget. Can anyone explain me if there is a way to install Accuweather widget like on the S4 on my phone, I would be thankful? I'm afraid to boot in recovery cause Chinese smartphones are unstable and the Recovery is also in Chinese, I'm afraid that I can break something...
Here's the link for my phone's ROM, maybe you guys can check it out:

(I had to separate the link cause Im new to this forum)

Sorry ... nothing found about your specific device on xda.
What about the original accuweather app from Play store?
If you don't want the Play store version, try asking in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Which one?

Seriously?!
Just search for "AccuWeather" in Play store and it's the first one.
Thread closed and thank you.
Dear xda members
for anyone who wants to share the latest Android Nougat bootanimation.zip please upload/attach file here, ty.
"...Android without mod likes world without music"
Ask google. Final N isn't released yet.
Tried this? made out of preview 3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/themes-apps/nougat-boot-animation-t3416249
doesn't look so fascinating though
The screen resolution is set at 800 x 800(max I went on p5100 was 720x720)
keep a flashable zip file of any other working bootanimation of your device, in case you get into a bootloop, you can recover by flashing.
Dear Mr @Android-Andi & @billysam
1stly thx 4 the attentions, i wish someone could share from DP5 cz i can't unpack its system.img

This is a boot animation I made in a few days and wanted to share with you guys. All of the instructions on how to use it are in the readme.txt file with the download.
This animation was tested on my Galaxy S8 (hence posting ot in this forum), but it can work on any device.
Feel free to contact me if you need any help and hope you like it like I do!
EDIT: I've lowered the fps of the animation slightly so it should loom a bit more normal now

I installed it as a zip file and it worked. Maybe because I have a custom rom installed ?
Hello guys,
Definitely changing the bootanimation is one of the coolest customizations in rooted android devices. But this is going to be a little complicated when you have a Samsung phone, as Samsung uses QMG format for bootanimations. Recently I was trying to understand how the QMG format works, and how to make one for myself. First I should thank Nonta72, for his/her valuable guide [Here] on making QMG bootanimations using Samsung Theme Designer, and also a big thank to KachowPow, for providing a big collection of ready-to-use QMG bootanimations [Here], as well as explaining how to use them. I was interested in one of these QMG bootanimations, named "Pissing on Apple" (by JaeKar99), but the provided link was not available anymore. So I decided to use Nonta72 guide and make my own QMG bootanimation.
Here I provide my favorite [Pissing on Apple] bootanimation with QMG format (remade by myself, but the credit is for JaeKar99),
You can download this bootanimation in QMG format from Here. If you don't know how to use QMG files, please read the provided guide by KachowPow, Here.

Finally, this is my first post on XDA, please tell me if my mentioning or giving credits was wrong. And sorry for my bad English.
I appreciate your work, I have used it for a long time but recently I just tried to download it again but the link is down, could you please re-upload it
