[Q] flashed cm7 sd card unmounted or unpresent - Samsung Infuse 4G

Hello everyone. Fairly new to this, yet not total noobish.
I apologize if there is already a thread about this but i couldnt come across one that would give me an answer to my problem.
Infuse 4G -Got the phone little while ago, had Infused rom on, I downloaded CM7 from this following link on here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311960
Followed those steps, everything went flawlessly. Until, i went into CWM to download and install GAPPS. I get an error message stating: SD Card Not Mounted. The sd card needs to be mounted to use ROM Manager.
I rebooted into recovery and tried mounting the sd card that way, no luck.
It's 1:49am, stressful day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So far I love all of you from the help youve been providing me since before I even made an account!

WOW!
I so apologize if anyone has been searching for an answer. but i just fixed it.
I believe its my time to get some sleep.
This is going to make me sound really noobish, but it was as simple as powering off the phone, ejecting the sd card, popping it back in, power back on, done.
sorry if i wasted anyones time.

[Q] I will pay for helpful advice...anything to get my DI working

Please help me fix my Droid Incredible
I bought my Droid Inc last night (3rd Party). When i got it, it was rooted with some sort of Cyanogen mod. In the process of trying to install just a normal leaked Froyo build i really messed up... please forgive me in advance for my limited knowledge on the subject
The Droid didn't come with an SD card so i put my old Droid 1 SD Card in. Everything is wiped and i believe the card is formated correctly (FAT32).
Now, i can't do anything. I just keeps boot looping. I've gone into recovery and tried a factory reset, tried to put files onto the SD card via the Droid 1 and transfer the SD,....i've tried everything i know how.
The main error i keep getting is "unable to mount data, cache,..etc"
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP. I am so desperate

Which recovery menu are you getting? A recovery menu is a good thing! Depending on the recovery that you have will determine what the next steps are to fix your phone.
When i hold the down arrow and power on I am getting to the HBOOT screen. I'm unfamiliar with this menu coming from Droid but i have tried to Clear Storage and that didn't work. I've also gone into the "recovery" which i'm a little more familiar with as it looks like the Droid 1 screen.
Whats next?
again... which recovery menu do you have? it should be listed on the main recovery screen
oh i'm sorry
I have ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.1

Beautiful! Now... Choose a ROM that you want on the phone and put the zip on the SD card..Then flash via recovery...
Once this is done and you are back into your OS, you can either keep the ROM or you can follow the instructions for unrooting the phone back to stock.. your choice.
Just a quick update...

[Q] Power wont Stay on cannot get into APX mode

I have been following similar threads, but there seems to be just enough that is different with my Gtab I thought I would try a new one in my last ditch effort.
I have most been runnung Tnt lite and everything worked fine. Then curisoity got to me and I installed the Cyrogen 7. I was having issues with gapps and followed instructions until it wouldn't boot past the BitTrix presents....
I was able to get into CM but after all the formarts and such from the intructions on gapps I no longer had any backs or recovery files.
Then I tried the NVflash. First problem is that I could never confirm I was in APX mode. My Linux CentOS machine could see the gtab but the NVFlash would not run. So a pal of mine who is really good with Linux grabbed tnt lite and was able to directly transfer it to the SD card.
Everything looked hopefull until just before the home screen should appear it powers down. then I when into CM and re-installed tnt. Same problem so I go back to CM and try to mount data. I get an error that it doesn't exisit. then it powers down in CM. Each time I go into CM it shuts down sooner and sooner.
I opend the device up and completed a manual reset to no sucess. I hear people say its really heard to brick these things. PLEASE someone help show me that I am not that talented!
no help?

Hi
OK, i am no expert here but have you tried just putting a new ROM zip file onto your SD card and rebooting into recovery mode Power & Volume + and choosing the zip file you just copied over?
Works for me everytime but then mine has never died.

My main issue now is that the power wont even stay on long enough to get to that point.

These are the instructions I followed when I opened it up. This did not work for me. You can see I posted in that thread as well.
Through all the message boards I read, not one single person including myself thought of the most basic answer.......The battery was dead
I work on computers for a living and this is yet just another example of starting with the basics, no matter what you think your skill level is.
Once charged, I was able to read the zip off of the card. Flashed and everything was great. Until I dropped it, literally minutes afte I got it working.
I am starting to think I wasn't meant to use this tablet.
I guess we all ASSUMED that you had charged it, or at least were trying w the adaper plugged in... I know that was what I assumed ...

[Q] Help please, ROM update failed

I'm sure the answer is out there, but my searching has failed me. Looks like a bunch of links to answers have broken since this phone was moved to legacy devices. anyway, my situation.
Tried to update the ROM on my Fuze last night. About 50% through pushing it, the USB connection crapped out (shouldn't have been using my laptop for this, but oh well). Now it just comes up the the tri-colored screen saying ROm update error, or something similar. Trying to run the update again doesnt' work.
I'm going to try again tonight, on a different machine, but any suggestions on how to get myself out of this predicament? I've flashed this phone several times, and never had the transfer go bad.
Did you try to flash from SD Card? put the raphimg.nbh file to the root of the card & go to tricolur screen (vol down + stylus), then it should flash, if i remember right ...

Lost SD card access and can't mount USB

My phone took a dump on me yesterday and I've been scouring XDA over the last few hours for a solution and I see a lot of similar issues but nothing exactly like mine. Please bear with me...
I was using the latest MIUI version by evol4g and the only persistent issue was some lag, nothing with my SD card or the core android processes. I went to bed last night and my phone was charging then a bright light in my room woke me up at about 0400. I looked at my phone and noticed it had rebooted itself into recovery. I attempted a simple reboot and it got stuck on the black Google screen. I pulled the battery and booted it back into recovery and attempted to restore it but noticed that none of my nand backups were available. I figured, this sucks, but I'm tired so I'll just re-flash the ROM and deal with it later. I attempted to flash a .zip from the SD card and it told me that no SD card could be found. I got up and went to my laptop to copy a ROM from my desktop to the SD card and when I went to mount the USB drive it told me that there was "no file to write to" (or something similar). Basically, I have no SD card access and no way to mount the USB to attempt re-flashing of anything.
I've made multiple attempts over the last 6+ hours to re-flash CWM to the latest version (using both ADB and the fastboot version), I've tried to re-flash through ODIN and I've even gone as far as attempting to UNroot just so I can get this thing to function. Every time, though, it gets stuck while writing the system files then doesn't get any further. When I'm using ABD, I've got no SU access and while in fastboot, the system gets stuck writing .system files. As of right now, it's been attempting to write the system files for the UNroot process via the Nexus S Hacks .zip for over an hour. Any and all advice is welcomed and thanks for reading!

I hate to be the one to tell you this.. sounds like you got bit by the nand flash failure that all of us nexus s owners fear. Warrenty repair is the only recourse in that case.
Sad to say but sounds like you got bit .

Stuck on HTC One X Screen with Red Writing

Hello all
So I thought I bricked my phone not too long ago but I think there may still be hope left. I had the 3.18 version of AT&T and Android 4.1.1 installed on my phone and wanted to root it. Found out the new process and after a couple of hours got to root it. I attempted to get S-Off multiple times but I couldn't do it (difficulties with failed: 99 error but I had CID = 111111). So I was attempting to get the new Cyanogenmod on my phone but stupid, stupid, newb me downloaded and tried to get the HTC One X version on my phone instead of HTC One XL. I was reflashing it over and over again because I thought it wasn't working but found out how much of a dunce I was.
Now I am stuck in a continuous load with sticking at the HTC screen with red writing saying "this build is for development purposes only...." It turned off and wouldn't turn on again so I thought I bricked it but later today I was able to start it up again. I can get into bootloader and I can get into my recovery mode. I have TWRP 2.3.3.1. However what I can't do is mount my SD card. So when I plug in my phone to my computer the USB sound goes off but my SD card doesn't appear. Also on TWRP, in the mount option, I cannot mount the SD card as it won't let me click it. So I can't download things from my computer and put it on my phone
If there is anyone out there that can save my phone (and save me another $300) it would be much, much appreciated. I know I'm a sucky newb, and I know you guys get tired of this but I promise you I thought I read enough. I'm just trying to learn.
UPDATE:
Also I believe I've narrowed the problem down more. I can issue commands using the terminal. Tried to reboot RUU and boot oem from there but still didn't work. Think phone is not recognizing SD card
you give this a try. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942519
