Pretty much personal opinions. Why not read through the forums in the Dev section and make a selection.
I'm on Insertcoin currently but have tried quite a few before settling on a couple.
YMMV
There are a few. Miui releases every two weeks or so, ARHD, InsertCoin, Pyramid 3D, Senseay, and LEEDROiD release pretty frequently.
I would say ARHD, InsertCoin, and Pyramid are currently the best supported right now. I'm running Pyramid.
Sent from my HTC Sensation
I would agree with ARHD,Insert Coin updated regularly -its depending on what you are looking for Miui is just getting off the ground but the official version you can update through Rom Manager makes it sweet CM7 is also starting up my personal daily is Insert Coin if your looking for a stable sense Rom I would also Recommend CoreDroid V2.5 updates are slow to come but when they do they have little to no issues the thread is organized and easy to understand and most of its members are there to help
insertcoin gets updated daily sometimes lol
I'll get round to doing it soon. Thanks guys

MIUI ROM is probably the best for me

Pyramid 3D is the best ROM for the Sensation! Great battery performance, super fast and stuff! And often updated!

I would second that. Its added features are very useful and its performance is top notch. Dev for it is pretty cool too. There really is no perfect rom and I feel like how it is installed can make or break its performance.
I would advise you to try them all out and then settle down. Don't waste so much time flashing, it's really a waste of time when all will probably work fine. And don't always go with the newest versions. Like for instance, I've found ARHD 3.11 to be the best one as far as performance for that rom.

I prefer ARHD too!
I've been on ARHD for a lot of time, now I'm testing DARK SENSE ROM.
Wonderful, stable, everything is working fine, with Sense 4.1
I'll say it's like having a One S in my hands now. :good:
Elegancia is the best and get updated....very fast ...

Google for HTC Sensation - Android 4.0.4 Sense 4.1 Firmware (based on stock Ville C RUU 2.31.401.5) by Mikhei777
Is a very nice real HTC-stock-feel ROM, that's currently supported 24/7.
No tweaking tools, no custom themes/icons, based on original HTC pyramid-ics-crc-3.0.16-31a4fc7 - just a pure working HTC Sence 4.1
Weird, but this guy is not on XDA
He is on XDA but XDA dont like him
But i dont know his past

Team Venom Roms
Team Venom support their ROMs very well. Not many updates recently because they were working on their 3.0.0 ROM but I'm sure that will be getting updated as frequently as their previous ROM when it was being developed.
Guys,

RMK40's VI v4.0.2 beta!
ARHD, either with Sense or with Shnizlon's AOSP theme, depending on my mood. Decent battery life, smooth enough.
I always go back to virtuous and nrgz8 energy rom

Hi all.
I realize there are loads of ics roms being developed for our device. I thank the devs for putting so much effort to keep our devices worth having. But I need some advice on finding a stable rom for daily use. (Texting, camera, gaming). I have used all the ics roms on our forum and experienced multiple freezes and reboots while on my daily usage.
I was wondering which rom is the most stable yet useful in terms of functionality at the moment.

Sense 3 or Sense 3.5 Gingerbread ROMs are your answer.

Endymion without doubt
Swyped from my DesireS
I don't recommend any ICS ROM. Personally, I'm finding Endymion and CM7 to be the most stablest for me.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
Reaper for me. It doesn't have all the functionality that Endy does built-in, but you can add what you need easily enough. And it is seriously fast
Virtuous Affinity 2.05
cm7 with go.launcher
working well for me so far.
Go launcher makes the system really slow imo.
see the difference to a butter smooth endy with sense 3.5, you will never use gay launcher (sorry ) again
Sent by my fingers to your head.
Is link to download Endymion V3.5 broken?

This rom is stable and fast enough for dayly usage. I installed it via Rom Manager even without firmware flashing. Works fine and fast. But sense 3.5 sucks - waiting sense 4.0

Because all I want is to get a better battery life than the stock rom.

I recommend the ROM " Revelation 1.0.3 "
ViperS 2.0.0 has good battery life
Sent from my HTC Sensation using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
+1 for Revelation 1.0.3!
+1 revelation 1.0.3 but charcge %12 close your phone ı know no stable time
If you want a Snese Rom try Wiper or wait for the Viper Sense 5.
If you want a AOSP Rom i would go for Carbon as im using now. Fast, stable and great battery and a lot of Tweaks.
I was using Inspiration rom 1.0.1 and have now switched to ViperS 3.1.2. I used to get less than a day using stock battery on Inspiration, have installed an Anker 1900mAh and got a day easily on Inspiration 1.0.1, but then switched to ViperS 3.1.2 and now only need to charge every other day on the same usage. Also has some great tweaks.
CyanogenMod
